Kali linux as it is basically an OS designed for hacking and pen testing and comes with many pre-installed tools. It is easy to download and install, it is plenty of tutorials for the tools it has.
I would say it is not a real tool, but still needed would be a simple cheap $10 phone on pay as you go. Reasons are simple, you can buy it without any info required, once used, you can just destroy the sim making hard to track you. It can be used for many things, I will prefer this over a normal phone ,in fact, I don’t have a normal phone they require too much info for the registration. If you use it only in a public place and destroy it in a public place, you should be fine with what ever you are using that phone for.
Your mind, what I mean by this, is the ability to use programming languages and develop your own code if necessary. You cant write your own tools or malware.
