personality | Jin Ae has a very bubbly and outgoing personality. She gets easily amused over anything and I mean ANYTHING. Even if it is just a turtle walking on a board, she will be so amazed and excited about it. Oh yeah, if you have music playing, prepare for a beast to be unleashed. Music for sure is Jin Ae's source of energy which means she will get energetic and excited: Anytime, anywhere. Just make sure to not have it on full blast and have her current favorite song playing or else too much energy will be released. If this happens, make sure you keep your distance from her or else you might get hit in the face or somewhere else. The only way that Jin Ae can calm down is she becomes sleepy by classical music. Yes, music is her source of energy but it is also her source of calmness. Once classical music plays, Jin Ae will immediately relax and will be the most quiet person you have ever seen. She won't say a word and just sleep right away. Last but not least, she is very positive and optimistic. She makes sure that there would be no sadness in the room so she will do whatever it takes to make them happy, even if it means to do something stupid to bring a smile to their face.

background | Jin Ae was born in Manila, Philippines. Her father is a professional doctor while her mother is an English teacher. She lived a happy life with her family as well as her grandmother in their small yet spacious complex home in Manila. But when she was 6, her parents got divorced and her father took her back to Korea; that's when she met her step-mom and step-brother, Choi Youngjae. She was so used to speaking Filipino and English, it was difficult for her to adjust to her new surroundings and language. However, with the help of her older step-brother Youngjae, Jin Ae is able to speak Korea fluently! She even did projects like acting in the school plays and she also took the challenges of being a part of a musical. Later on, she got casted by SM during her brother's audition to JYP. She actually planned to join JYP but decided to go to SM instead. With her family's support, she auditioned and joined SM Entertainment.
