The purpose of this ruleset is to introduce new people to the basic, and most common movement techniques in the game (along with other misc basics), while still retaining the "puzzle-solving" aspect of randomizer, and to achieve a middle ground between the Accessible ruleset and the No Item Manip/Wrong Warp ruleset.

  5. Definition of a "major" movement technique:
  6. - Any technique that involves equipping hover boots to preserve the momentum of a glitch that already enhances movement
  7. - Any technique that unnaturally causes Link to gain height
  8. - Any technique that keeps you airborne for an extended, or infinite amount of time
  9.  
  10. Allowed movement techniques:
  11. - Jumpslashing while mid-air for more distance
  12. - Damage boosting
  13. - Ground Jump (including mid-air ground jumps)
  14. - All forms of superslides
  15. - Superswim
  16. - Megaflip/Megasidehop
  17. - Megajump
  18. - Hoverboosting off of a damage source and/or recoil
  19. - Momentary anti-gravity (e.g. B1 Skip in Deku Tree)
  20. - Recoil Jump
  21. - Twisted sidehops/backflips
  22. - Swimming with Iron Boots
  23. - Z-slide

  26. Banned movement techniques:
  27. - Hoverboosting out of a superslide and megaflip/megasidehop
  28. - Hovering with Infinite Sword Glitch
  29. - Low Gravity Glitch
  30. - Extended Antigravity
  31. - Superslide Teleport

  33. Allowed Miscelaneous Techniques:
  34. - Savewarping
  35. - Deathwarping
  36. - Voiding to reset Link’s position
  37. - Power Crouch Stabbing
  38. - Broken Deku Stick
  39. - Backflip over Mido in the Lost Woods as an adult
  40. - Hookshot Extension
  41. - Rolling from blue switches to open doors
  42. - Damage Buffering
  43. - Invincibility Frame Abuse (including passing through flames)
  44. - Rolling, sidehopping, or backflipping through fire walls
  45. - Damaging Volvagia’s second hitbox
  46. - Passing through the back side of one-sided collision (e.g. the bottom of the bridge in Kokiri Forest, Darunia’s door, Forest’s falling ceiling, Song of Time block in Forest, Impa’s House ledge grab)
  47. - Attacking to collect or hit an object on the other side of a collision
  48. - Getting grabbed or thrown into collectibles such as GS Tokens or Silver Rupees
  49. - Opening underwater chests while wearing the Iron Boots (and diving in the Lab with Iron Boots)
  50. - Flame Storage
  51. - Schrodinger’s chain
  52. - “Crazy Dance” in Spirit Temple
  53. - Inbounds seamwalking
  54. - Infinite Sword Glitch
  55. - Ocarina Items
  56. - Dying to achieve anything other than a deathwarp or health refill (e.g. Jabu “Slimy Thing” skip)
  57. - Causing a switch to remain pressed longer than it should

  59. Banned Miscelaneous Techniques:

  61. - Cutscene diving to sink into water (including with Navi and Cuccos)
  62. - Going out of bounds (any area which is beyond the boundary walls of the map such as an outer seam, or any area which is exposed to the lowest void plane in the map)
  63. - Seamwalking out of bounds
  64. - Touching misplaced or accidentally exposed loading zones (e.g. early Jabu or Trials Skip)
  65. - Child in Gerudo Fortress
  66. - A-slide
  67. - Weirdshots
  68. - Passing through collision from the front (e.g. all forms of clipping, passing through the falling spikes in Shadow Temple)
  69. - Using restricted items (such as Farore’s Wind in the overworld or Ocarina in boss rooms)
  70. - Item Manipulation (BA, RBA, GIM)
  71. - Equip Swap
  72. - Bottle Duplication
  73. - Gold Skulltula Token / Heart Piece Duplication
  74. - Collection delay (e.g. early Eyeball Frog or Gold Scale. Delay happens naturally in many shops if you buy quickly, this is ok)
  75. - Something except for a sword on B (excluding normal circumstances like riding Epona)
  76. - Down A, Return A, and Blank A
  77. - Wrong Warp
  78. - Void Warp
  79. - Entrance Point Glitch
  80. - Actor Glitch
  81. - Bongo Bongo quick kill
  82. - Bombing (0,0,0) to kill unloaded actors
  83. - Unloading actors which should clearly be loaded (e.g. King Zora’s ice, graves in the Graveyard, Gold Gauntlet monoliths)
  84. - Being in unloaded areas (e.g. Gerudo Fortress)
