- I get that Vortex friend zoning her was for a gag, but he didn't really come across as a bad guy in the episode. He's just there to do his job, he wasn't actively hostile toward her or anyone else at IMP, and he didn't lead Loona on or anything, he probably didn't pick up on her interest because she couldn't flirt her way out of a wet paper bag or did pick up on it and didn't want to do the "buzz off I have already have an SO" thing. There's no reason to believe he didn't mean it when he said he wanted to invite her to a party so she could meet people. If she could learn to socialize a bit better she could probably find someone single to get with just fine.

- That'd be great actually, it's clear that she doesn't know how to flirt or socialize very well. For her to have some friends starting off would be a major morale boost for her.

- It would also be a conflict driver. Vortex is a practical enough guy to not give a shit about his employer's personal grievances, and Loona doesn't seem particularly interested in the conflict either. Blitzo and Verosika on the other hand are both petty and vindictive as fuck and hate each other. One of them is cutting the checks and the other is cutting the checks AND is the character's adoptive father. That is just a powder keg of bullshit waiting for someone to flick their cigarette butt the wrong way.
