What do you want to be authorized?: The ability to be a radio electrician, thus the ability to fully repair radios.
Backstory behind the auth: Helena was brought to the US when she was 2 years old from Poland. Her father, Jan, was a radio technician and her grandfather was in the Polish Cipher Bureau. From her family's background in radios she took an interest in them and a broader field connected to them. Her father would get her radios, broken and useable, and other old electronics, with which she experimented with, opened up, broke even further, or in some cases actually repaired. As time went on she continued this hobby with electronics and specifically radios, and after she graduated from high school she went to a trade school (for about a year) in New Haven to get a career diploma as an electrician, from there she took and passed the Journeyman Electrician Exam. She then worked as a radio electrician for a variety of companies in the New Haven area before the Seven Hour War began, resulting in around two years of on-the-job experience with it.
