  1. [23:23] Tossing away habits that were tied to personality was difficult, especially since she didn't need to act to make it look convincing. Her red eyes were turned towards the ocean as she refused eye contact.
  2.
  3. "Will you go... on... a date with me?" She asked, somewhat quietly.
  4. (Joanne Stiller)
  5. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  6.
  7. [23:31] Katzan looks towards Joanne, her stuttering and hesitation being... Oddly unwelcome by the Atl chieftain. He quirked an eyebrow, yellow irises focusing on her red eyes, examining her face for any reaction.
  8.
  9. Obviously, she should want to do that. Everyone would want to do this to the chieftain Katzan Xizoh, wouldn't they? He let out a hum, as if taking in her proposal.
  10.
  11. And of course, he had to make his own observation. "We usually don't do that in Gehenna. However, I'm sure that I'll do that greatly."
  12.
  13. He said, before a quiet nod came. "So yes."
  14. (Katzan Xizoh)
  15. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  16.
  17. [23:44] He agreed. Well, that was part of it already. Joanne's red eyes turned back to Katzan, briefly allowing eye contact. Courage was what she needed to display, the obvious hesitation towards romance had to be locked away temporarily. She managed, if only mostly.
  18.
  19. "Really? Good! I need to put some things together for Bedlam... Where do you want to go? I'd like it to be... private." Joanne made it sincere, whether it was meant to be or not.
  20. (Joanne Stiller)
  21. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  22.
  23. [23:47] The chieftain of Atl was, even if he managed to hide it under the wall of his own illusions, feeling a bit weird. Going on dates? That was something new for him, a whole new concept that the Gehennans didn't really experiment with.
  24.
  25. As soon as she asked a question, he looked around himself, before continuing to speak. "I'd say we could go to Atl, but it's a long walk, which I believe you wouldn't want to take."
  26.
  27. And then, another glance. "You might know somewhere better around here. You pretty much live here, after all."
  28. (Katzan Xizoh)
  29. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  30.
  31. [23:58] A smile was offered briefly, before Joanne replied calmly, "I know a spot. Wait here." The former bartender turned and began quickly walking off to take care of the business she had at the fortress. Perhaps there was some regret forming in her mind for what she might have been planning.
  32. (Joanne Stiller)
  33. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  34.
  35. [23:59] He quirked an eyebrow as soon as she said that she knew the spot, but... He nodded. "If you know the spot, am I not supposed to go with you?"
  36.
  37. And then, it hit him. A small "aaah" exited from his mouth, before he looked towards the fort. "You said you need to put some things together for Bedlam. Very well, I'll wait."
  38. (Katzan Xizoh)
  39. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  40.
  41. [00:07] Joanne returned, offering nod as she motioned towards the stairs to the northwest. "Okay, I'm ready."
  42. (Joanne Stiller)
  43. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  44.
  45. [00:08] Katzan's yellow irises redirected from the sea towards Joanne, as he stuck behind her. "I hope it's a good spot." He said, in the same uninterested, rather neutral tone as ever.
  46.
  47. Weird date.
  48. (Katzan Xizoh)
  49. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  50.
  51. [00:13] Joanne glanced towards a nearby patch of grass that appeared to be quite dead as they arrived on the cliff that overlooked the northern plains and river. "Peacekeeper likes to come here occasionally." Joanne idly commented, then brought what was in her right hand up to offer the bottle of wine towards Katzan without turning towards him, "Here... I got this for you."
  52. (Joanne Stiller)
  53. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  54.
  55. [00:19] Katzan looked to the passage. The divide between the plains and the gehennan territory, now Coalition. The river in front of them ran through, and then... She offers a bottle of wine to him.
  56.
  57. He looks down, and then realizes something. She brought something, should he have brought something? He should have brought something. He held the bottle in his hand, before quickly returning it to her.
  58.
  59. "Wait." He simply said, and then rummaged through his backpack before realizing something. Oh no. He quickly got up, the greyish flames surrounding him peacefully, and mostly draining the colors around his head.
  60.
  61. "Wait... Here." He said, before darting off. No explanation. Admitting a mistake would be too much for him.
  62. (Katzan Xizoh)
  63. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  64.
  65. [00:25] And as quickly as he went off, he got back, a lot more tranquil, the greyish colors around him fading almost completely. If she had paid any attention to the last demonstration of his power, he basically used his own Nullification to avoid his own feelings.
  66.
  67. Which meant that something was corrected during that while. He came back, bearing a single bottle on his hand, and then... He looked down to the patch of almost-dead grass, sitting down on it.
  68.
  69. He rose the bottle of wine towards her. "Here." He said, looking up to her, yellow irises meeting straight towards her own eyes.
  70.
  71. This was a date after all, wasn't it?
  72. (Katzan Xizoh)
  73. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  74.
  75. [00:37] The bottle of wine was taken by her left hand as she developed a surprised expression. She blinked a couple of times then offered the bottle of wine she had gotten for him to Katzan. "O-oh. Thank you. I don't usually drink, myself." Joanne sat down a fair few feet away from Katzan, a conservative distance at the least.
  76.
  77. She uncorked the bottle then glanced over at Katzan while offering a small smile, "Aren't you going to drink, too?" Joanne did not drink herself yet.
  78. (Joanne Stiller)
  79. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  80.
  81. [00:43] Katzan took the bottle she offered to him, quickly uncorking it, the hand covered in a mythril gauntlet. He examined it, unsure how to properly drink it... Perhaps she had remembered his weakness to alcohol. He then looked towards her, and then at the distance between both...
  82.
  83. ... Something was wrong. A date wasn't supposed to be this distant. Grabbing the bottle given to him by the hand, Katzan properly removed his cape and gauntlet, moving otwards her while still crouched.
  84.
  85. He approached her close, and hit the bottom of one bottle to the other. His face was... Somewhat close to hers, yellow hues staring directly into her. There was almost no magic in play, only the extreme proximity to such an intimidating creature that he managed to be at times.
  86.
  87. A few words came. "I hope you aren't getting shy now." He then looked down to the bottle. It was... Everything there was perhaps her fault at not being as good at this as he thought? And like that, he approached the bottle given to him to his own mouth.
  88.
  89. "Let's drink together, isn't that how it's done?" A small smirk appeared as he finally laid his lips to the tip of the bottle, waiting until she mimicked his own action to actually start drinking.
  90. (Katzan Xizoh)
  91. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  92.
  93. [00:44] Traded item with Joanne Stiller: Grape Wine
  94. [00:52] The fact that he was getting closer was not exactly comfortable, but the plan had to be enacted now. The bottle in her other hand was raised to mimic Katzan's action, even if he was dangerously close to her. She had to keep her smile even despite the fact that he was right next to her now.
  95.
  96. Joanne raised and drank from the wine bottle in her own possession. Maybe the buzz of alcohol would help her with the next course of action, to deal with the the very thing she had up her sleeve quite literally.
  97.
  98. It was now or never and the former bartender chose the former without any concern for the possibility of getting drunk. After all, she didn't consider herself a light weight at all, even if she probably was. Given the fact that Katzan was making an effort to make the 'date' go better, there was an inkling of paranoai formed.
  99.
  100. Was he suspicious of why she was doing this? Probably. There was no telling right now, and she wasn't sure if they'd be able to tell at all as she finished taking a fairly long drink from the wine, then glanced at Katzan.
  101. (Joanne Stiller)
  102. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  103.
  104. [00:57] Benjamin... was way in over his head. You know it was starting out as a rather mediocre day. A day of mulling over the nature of staring at corpses. A day of mulling over what the hell it meant to have friends for the first time in this world of increasingly intense stressors that seem to keep laying it on one thing after another. A day of chopping down a shit ton of trees and gathering some rocks because that's really all he was good for at this point.
  105.
  106. Benjamin, now culminating in the apex of this day of absolute aimlessness was now stuck, here, of all places. Hiding behind a tree, trying to not actually make a single sound. What started out as a fairly innocent amount of morbid curiosity had turned into an unchanging commitment to this course of action.
  107.
  108. Because now, this man was here, and if he tried to get out of this very obvious hiding spot, then it would be very obvious to the both of them that he was here. And as such Benjamin could only think of one thing... how much he really needed a fucking drink at this point.
  109. (Benjamin Atwood)
  110. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  111.
  112. [01:06] Katzan drank the wine carefully, accompanying her rhythm at drinking it. It was perhaps a daring glance, staring right through the girl, before he finally lowered his arm. He looked towards her, tasting the wine around his lips...
  113.
  114. ... And like that, he quirked an eyebrow. He fell back, almost down the cliff and onto the hill, his rump hitting against the dry grass. As he forced himself to move back, his muscles stiffened slowly, the effects of the poison coursing through his body.
  115.
  116. And while he tried to slip away slowly, every single muscle underneath his neck stopping their own movement, he could muster a few words before he found his body in a lock, the potent venom holding him still. "What-- What did you do?!"
  117.
  118. He asked, even though, there was one thing notable. No fear in his voice -- After all, the curse of Nullification came to him at the cost of that precisely. He simply seemed... Curious, and there wasthis always present void of emotions on his tone, now stronger.
  119. (Katzan Xizoh)
  120. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  121.
  122. [01:21] "Venom from Eiphraem, you won't be moving for---" Joanne smiled at Katzan, almost in a way that could be seen as malignant, but her smile shrunk as she stopped. Wait a minute. Her cheeks reddened and her red eyes widened as she stared at him. She couldn't stop focusing on his face. This was...
  123.
  124. "Y-You---" She stuttered her continuation at the start, cutting herself off. "You--- You spiked it with a LUST POTION?!" It was taking a lot of willpower at this point. The power of the magical serum enhanced what was already there many times over.
  125.
  126. Even being an alchemist, Joanne had no ability to counter this potion. Unlike others, there was no way she could stop its affects. "Thi- STOP BEING HANDSOME!" Her cheeks flushed with more red.
  127.
  128. It was at this moment that Joanne hated life and wanted nothing but to escape this reality, if only for a brief moment, to cry somewhere alone because of the cruelty of this world.
  129.
  130. The conflict was extreme in her mind. She couldn't take her eyes off of him. "I HA- LO-- STOP MESSING WITH ME!" Joanne yelled, not being able to process this at all. She had a job to do here, she had to-- STOP THINKING-- to reach into her sleeve, pull out that wristlet and attach it.
  131.
  132. But wait, if she... that meant...
  133.
  134. Joanne's left hand was raised and she fumbled with as she reached into her right sleeve. She had to get this attached and then undr-- book it.
  135. (Joanne Stiller)
  136. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  137.
  138. [01:24] Benjamin Atwood, fell out of his tree hiding spot. Because, at this point, holy fucking shit he had no idea what was going on anymore but this had just overloaded his senses to the point where he forgot that he was in fact supposed to be hiding from them.
  139.
  140. Regardless, he was now, very much, out in the open, and this, is a thing that is very much happening.
  141.
  142. "... I uh... so... you're both... I'm sorry who's drugging who right now...?"
  143. (Benjamin Atwood)
  144. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  145.
  146. [01:29] "I thought you spiked mine with one too!" He said, quirking an eyebrow and obviously trying to force his own body to move. He managed to move a single inch or two of his own muscles, retreating a bit even though she easily closed the distance.
  147.
  148. Obviously, he was vulnerable. But not entirely. His greyish flames slowly rose over his body, clinging towards his very skin, the flames washing away with several wounds, which were quickly healed in flashes of golden.
  149.
  150. However, the approaching of Benjamin only made it worse. Even if his flames were summoned to protect him or keep him from harm, he still couldn't bother someone seeing this.
  151.
  152. And like that, as if instinctively, he turned his only moving limb: His head, towards the observing man. The grey around him intensified, only for the flames to spread throughout the ground -- Although certainly shier and slower than usual, and they slowly positioned themselves around Benjamin.
  153.
  154. "YOU SAW NOTHING." He yelled, mustering through his flames whatever strength he had. Perhaps to see himself fail would be worse than whatever fate awaited him. "TURN BACK AND LEAVEEEEEEEEEEEEEE."
  155. (Katzan Xizoh)
  156. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  157.
  158. [01:51] "You--- You're so..." Willpower was what she needed. Thankfully, her desire to protect others was overpowering enough that she managed to move over towards the blue-haired male that she was now infatuated with beyond belief, protect herself with a shield of holy energy and mixed water, then sit herself on top of Katzan and reach for his wrist. If he remained incapable, she'd manage to snap the thing from her sleeve onto his wrist. An antimagic restraint. That was her intention all along.
  159.
  160. "STOP BEING VIOLENT AND LOOK AT ME!" She exclaimed, staring down at him still. Oh dear gods, it was taking full affect. Joanne had so little time before she wouldn't be able to stop herself. At this point, she may have preferred to die rather than get this kind of embarrassment.
  161.
  162. If she could get this wristlet mounted onto his- nice body - arm, she could try and- NONONO STOP THINKING - book it. She could- abscond with him - HIDE in a dark place, cold place. Maybe swim in the river and hope Katzan-- ICAN'TLIVELIKETHIS!
  163. (Joanne Stiller)
  164. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  165.
  166. [02:01] Okay so Benjamin's plan to use his loose stones to build a bridge over the raging fires of this strange madman was working. That was a good thing, now Benjamin could quie- oh wait his one and only alcohol supplier was currently under the affect of a lust potion... Well shit... It's not like Benjamin even had a single god damn idea of what the hell Chivalry was, given the whole, being a reclusive shut in for the majority of his life, but this was different. This was a woman Benjamin needed in his life. A woman, who could sell him booze, AS WELL, as get him a job!
  167.
  168.
  169. So, Benjamin examined the situation and determined two things. One, she was trying to cuff the man. Yes, she poisoned him, but that man was using the date rape potion and he had his own personal biases so that was fine. Two, that date rape potion was being really fucking affective right now. Which meant, one, Benjamin had to somehow help her cuff the man through the fire and the flames. There was a watersource nearby so that might be a the simpler bit. Then two, Benjamin somehow has to restrain this lady before she does something she is really really really really really really really really really really really really going to fucking regret when this all wears off.
  170.
  171. And with his plan in mind, Benjamin leaped into action! First running over and dumping his hands into the nearby stream so that he had a momentary reprieve against the man's really fucking dangerous looking magical fire shit, and then used that reprieve to help Joanne cuff the man. As for the rest of the plan, well, it was going to involve Benjamin making improvised rope out of loose plant matter but then he realized, he really didn't have the time for that, so he was just going to somehow make it up as he went along apparently!
  172.
  173. (Benjamin Atwood)
  174. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  175.
  176. [02:16] Katzan looked towards whatever it was that she should have tried harder to strap onto his wrist. Obviously, this kind of thing was all fun and games, even if it took a distorted direction when he brought in the lust potion. Perhaps as good of a counter as a paralysis venom, and maybe the only way to stop him from getting so angry at her that he would most certainly wish to destroy every fiber.
  177.
  178. Obviously, his powerful aura did not vanish. The world went greyer and greyer, the very colors drained from the world, and perhaps this was the moment where Joanne would start regretting more than anything her plan. Getting it on with Katzan, the chieftain of Atl? Definitely a good way to stop his murderous frenzy that would come quickly after. Obviously, he was focused on something much, much more important.
  179.
  180. The rushing man running towards him, covered in water. Even if his body was immobile, even if he could barely hold himself together, his flames slowly turned livid as they fed. Slowly, they seeped the essence of everything around to him, draining the very heat of the nearby scenario. And water? It would be effective against fire. But Katzan was not a wielder of fire. He was a wielder of emptiness, a wielder of destruction and hatred. It just so happened that fire embodied all of those to the core.
  181.
  182. And as such, when the man came rushing in, he met the fire -- No, the greyish flames in full force. Water did little to stop it, not even evaporating, simply drained into the void of Katzan's magic.
  183.
  184. "I SAID TO LEAVE!" He said, the voice taking on a commanding and imposing tone, obviously influenced by magic. He was, after all, a sin Magi. A glance was directed towards the woman in front of him. "WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME?"
  185.
  186. And ever so slowly, he was twitching, recovering the motion of his body. "A STRIGOI WOULDN'T BE STOPPED BY THIS LITTLE THIIING."
  187.
  188. (Katzan Xizoh)
  189. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  190.
  191. [02:35] The emotions inside of her were exceptionally conflicting. On one hand, there was already something there towards Katzan and it was enhanced tenfold by the potion that he has spiked her wine with. On the other, she did fear his abilities and what he was. He was everything she wanted to change in the world and then some, he was someone she genuinely wanted to save. Why? Because she was a good person and she tried to remain that way. That nature was what let her have a say in this at all, because there was an innocent nearby.
  192.
  193. "GET AWAY FROM- Please leave!"
  194.
  195. Control was lost and she ceased trying to place the cuff onto the Atl Chieftain, her right hand raising towards Benjamin. For a moment, there was only a swirling stream in front of her hand, then a huge, concentrated wave of water would slam into the blonde should he manage to move out of the wave, aiming to blast him away despite the lack of desire to hurt him.
  196.
  197. That nature still played into the water, Benjamin would feel, despite the water blasting him should he be caught, his essence being restored by the power of holy magic. He would heal as he got flung into the distance.
  198.
  199. This was the worst conflict of feelings, she was actively hurting someone else to try to do such things. It was immoral and stupid of her, but it was also partially what Leo warned her about. In the same way, maybe making Benjamin blast off would save his life in the end.
  200.
  201. Joanne couldn't help it at this point, she leaned in close to Katzan to try to initiate a kiss, regardless if her abrupt motion to blast the interloper away succeeded or not.. I want to die. I can't handle this.
  202. (Joanne Stiller)
  203. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  204.
  205. [02:46] What the hell am I doing..? What am I actually doing here..? It hasn't even been a year, barely even a month or two since I left the house, and I'm already asking myself the same question I asked myself in there. What the actual hell, am I doing here? It's kinda funny, the way time just, slows down, how the world just begins to halt into a single uncompromising standstill as the deciding factors that could either end or prolong your life all come together into a singular bloody mess that is both as unintelligible as the mad ravings of a mad man, yet so clearly understood by this momentary reprieve of intense clarity.
  206.
  207. Of course the water didn't work, he's a magi. I didn't even know why I thought it would work to begin with, and here I am, on fire. Man, everything just hurts doesn't it? It's a stinging pain, an almost unimaginable burning sensation that's slowly beginning to creep up and engulf my entire body. That was one vector.
  208.
  209. Then there was the blast of water that is currently about to hit my- no wait, it just hit my face. The force of being greater than anything I have ever experienced in my entire life, sending my entire world, especially my eyesight, into a spiraling haze that I cannot even slightly hope to overcome. This was the second vector, the affects of which partially neutralized those of the first.
  210.
  211. Then came the soothing healing sensations that was starting to spread all around me and somehow rejuvenate this extremely battered and bruised form of mine to a point where I would most definitely be alive. That was the third vector.
  212.
  213. All of these things, all coming together, and by the end of it all... what did it all even do? Why am I here, why am I actually here right now, it's a question I've always wanted to answer but in a way this extremely absurd situation was more enlightening than any other singular moment in my entire life.
  214.
  215. I know, the question this crazy homicidal fire maniac asked, was not directed towards me at all, but you know what, before I go off, probably crashing into the ground nearby and just refuse to move for the remainder of this whole fucked up situation, I'm going to answer his question anyway. Because, I fucking know why the hell I'm doing this, why I'm doing something so ridiculously stupid. My logic, is pretty damn clear, and it all boils down to this. So I shout to him.
  216.
  217. "BECAUSE I'M FUCKING SELFISH!"
  218. (Benjamin Atwood)
  219. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  220.
  221. [03:21] Katzans Flames were as destructive and powerful as it was expected, and as harmful as Joanne probably predicted as well. It took little more than a glance, however, for the flames to jump at the observing man, until his attention was finally stolen once again.
  222.
  223. A grapple of his collar. A forceful tug, and in the end, she did what broke through his extremely exposed state right now. A kiss, one that he certainly wouldn't predict, came to meet his lips without much resistance, perhaps too distracted to offer any.
  224.
  225. And as much as he managed to move his limbs slightly, he was still paralyzed, the flames being the only mobile thing upon his control, even if the rest was slowly being recovered into his control.
  226.
  227. He opened his eyes wide in surprise, cheeks flustered as he looked towards the woman in front of him, and yet, even if he could manage to pull her away with the flames, the shock of that act was too big, forcing them to simply lay down and stand still.
  228. (Katzan Xizoh)
  229. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  230.
  231. [03:33] There is so much wrong about this. I want to die. I want to run away. I want to hide.
  232.
  233. The shock that Katzan experienced from the action was a gateway to success, but it was only if Joanne could garner the willpower to cease her current course of action. Focusing on that one thought of what she really intended for Katzan Xizoh, she managed it, but it wouldn't look like that at all. To save someone from themselves, maybe she had to be more subtle.
  234.
  235. The black-haired female wrapped one arm around his neck to bring him closer to her and kiss him deeply, but her free hand was the one that was important. She grabbed ahold of the antimagic wristlet that had been dropped then began to raise it slowly.
  236.
  237. In seconds, Joanne would manage to snap it on his wrist if he didn't notice the attempt. Her burst of willpower that allowed her to remain in control of herself was not going to last long, though, and if he should regain control of his own actions, the point was moot.
  238. (Joanne Stiller)
  239. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  240.
  241. [03:41] Well... I can't move. No that's not right at all. I could probably move if I put in the effort too but, honestly, I don't even want to at this point. Maybe it's because -despite- all of the healing, my body still hurts way too much for me to even slightly want to move. Or maybe, it's specifically the spite the homicidal fire maniac by sticking around to make sure I document every single second of this weird as hell encounter and save it so that I can secretly hold it over him for the rest of however long his entire life is gonna be.
  242.
  243. Regardless, there was only one question that was still seething throughout my entire mind... What the fuck is going on right now? I mean, yeah, I know the lust potion is affective and all but holy fucking shit I didn't know it was -this- damn affective. That's kinda disgusting, that potion is disgusting, and that guy is disgusting for using it. Fucking hell, he's burning like a god damn bonefire and doing all of, what I am assuming, is some highly occultic shit right now and yet the power of kissing still compels thee to kiss the man. God I don't even know if I should be impressed or horrified that this thing exists.
  244.
  245. Still, I can see what she's doing, even if it's very likely that he really can't. And, from the looks of things, if she gets that shit on his body or something, somehow, this will all be solved in a way where -maybe- just maybe, I can get towed off to somewhere that's, I don't know, comfortable.
  246.
  247. God, I fucking hate this, I hate this situation, I hate how absurd this all is. Nothing, can be simple can it? Getting a job can't be simple, making friends can't be simple, hell even going on a walk can't be simple cause now I'm doing this shit. Hell, I don't even know what god I'm supposed to be worshipping but, whatever the hell is -supposed- to be responsible for my fate, fuck you. Fuck you with all the god damn fucking dicks in the universe because I can't be fucking bothered with this shit.

  250.
  251. [03:59] Even as Katzan was distracted by the first kiss, and while he did have a brief pause to think between this and the next, deeper one, his yellow irises almost failed to accompany her in the movement.
  252.
  253. In the end, as much as she could focus herself right now, he wasn't the only one distracted and by hell he wasn't nearly as distractible as she was right now. Perhaps the mere motion of him returning the kiss could wane her determination or at least make her falter, before he felt something leaning in closer to his wrist, eager to get put in there.
  254.
  255. And somehow the distraction worked. Perhaps the demonstration of such passion was enough to charm the sinner, so incapable of thinking that a demonstration like that would be motivated by anything else than admiration for his own self. Oh, for while she felt pain and the desperation of falling into his accidental trap, he loved every moment for he felt to be righteously paid attention to.
  256.
  257. And perhaps it was a surge of confidence that allowed him to feel the restraint on his left hand, snapped to the wrist, and as the flames on that side waned, he noticed that he couldn't leave that losing. No, she would definitely not draw this victory from him. Katzan Xizoh would not falter because of one small impediment like that.
  258.
  259. A golden glow encompassed his right arm, forcing it to move. The poison was fading slightly but it still worked nonetheless, another reason why he couldn't react to her mischievous plan. But as soon as the second kiss was parted, Katzan's hand grabbed her tie and pulled her closer, landing a kiss of his own on her. He opened his gaping mouth, almost letting words escape, but in the end that was it.
  260.
  261. He knew that she wanted him. And he sure as hell wasn't going to walk out on full defeat, his unstiffening right arm holding her close through the tie.

  264.
  265. [04:22] Success was sweet, the sort of bracelet device snapped onto Katzan's wrist. But at this point, she was beyond self control and while she had the activation device for the antimagic restraints on her person, hidden in the place of her cigarettes, she wouldn't use it. Joanne was lost this point, Benjamin wouldn't be able to sway her. The black-haired female was, at first, surprised by the kiss, but reciprocated moments later.
  266.
  267. She broke off, though. She didn't want word of this spreading, though given who she was currently being embraced by, it was going to be public very quickly. That didn't stop Joanne from surrendering, "F-fine... Take me to Atl." Joanne hated this outwardly, but she couldn't help it now. She could manage to hide the remote if she needed to, but the fact remained that she gave up in this moment.
  268.
  269. It wasn't her victory here, but maybe in the end, it would payoff.

  272.
  273. [04:31] My fucking god. That face, never before have I ever seen a face I wanted to punch more than that face. That smug as fuck smarmy face. I'm probably going to see more, but before I knew it, the rock had already left my hand on a collision course with that face.
  274.
  275. In a way, I, just, ceased caring, about a lot of things really. Mainly because that emotion, of caring, was replaced with an equally powerful emotion, of severe and utter contempt. Because honestly there are only a few things I hate and one of the things I hate the most are people who are extremely self satisfied with themselves to the point where it becomes so extremely annoying that I can't help but fucking want to throw rocks at them. Like how I am throwing rocks at him, right now.
  276.
  277. Honestly, that's all I wanted to do, all I wanted to accomplish really. I just wanted to do one last little thing to make his day just a tad bit worse. Because holy fucking shit, I cannot stand that face. I don't even know who he is, I don't even know what his deal is, I don't even know how the hell they're involved with each other and I don't even care because I don't know either of them enough -to- care. But when I see that annoying as hell swagger and overconfidence, and see it pay off, I am god damn livid.
  278.
  279. By the time the rock left my hand I was already walking away. I said screw it to the pain, the pain on my mind for having to witness the shit that just happened was already more than enough of a motivator to get me going. Hell, I didn't even have to see the rocks hit, just him seeing that they were coming to him was satisfaction enough for me. Well, shit, I need a new plan then. She's probably gonna disappear so my alcohol supply is going to disappear with that, and I'm going to need to find a new alchemy teacher all at the same time. I hate unexpected changes, I hate the unexpected, I hate the fact that this world has very little order in it whatsoever and has devolved into a semi-comprehensible chaotic mess, and you know what... I'm going to have to fucking live with that shit aren't I? Goodbye you two whatever the hells you are to each other, I'm going home. Fuck.

  282.
  283. [04:54] Though his restraints remained on, the Xizoh would guide Joanne back to Atl. Though a few rocks would be thrown his way, they would be blasted with greyish flames, disappearing into ash. Sparsely populated by Atl warriors, they would move out of the way as their chieftain returned. He led her to the throne room, standing before her with a neutral expression. Katzan knew what was going on through her mind, that she wanted him badly. And now, all he had to do was assert his dominance over her.
  284.
  285. He'd do a 'come here' motion to her. And if she complied... he'd kiss her once more.
  286. (Katzan Xizoh)
  287. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  288.
  289. [05:07] The fact that she had no control in this situation didn't bother her completely clouded judgment. He beckoned, she followed. The repercussions of such a thing happening would probably be monumental, especially if certain people learned of these acts. How Joanne would deal with this after it was over was probably left to the views of others, but it sufficed to say she would not handle it well at first.
  290.
  291. One thing was certain, however, about this, as she neared the throne, standing exceptionally close to Katzan.
  292.
  293. She was never drinking any alcohol but that which she brewed herself again.
