Impeller is always on

Actually, simply synchronising your Valk core will grant you an Impeller field that is on by default.

It's the reasons all sorts of areas in the Academy insist on mandatory equipping of your Valk core before you enter and won't let you otherwise, though since you as the Warrior always have it on pretty much, you haven't been barred from anywhere yet.

For example, aerospace modelling, the model jets with lasers that can burn paper or Astronomy which is in the Aussie outback, no further explanation needed.

I mean, fixing superficial damage like burns, poisoning or flash blinding is simple as an Instructor with a auto surgeon suite integrated slapping you on the back a few times, or you synching your own Valk frame and waiting a bit, but if you don't have your Impeller field, there are places where you can simply die before even knowing what hit you, like the Simulators while it's setting up or the Arenas if there are other Valks in there. Jetwash from a combat spec Valk frame is nothing to joke at.
