Deicide

Alright, so, you know how there's a fuck ton of gods that like to have illegitimate love childs? That's where you come in. You're going to be the children of x god from x pantheon, and you'll have lived your days without knowing you were a demigod, at least for most of you. Some of you might be freak abominations because the gods had sex with some ferocious monster, if that's what you want.

In the past 100 years unfortunately, the world has become twisted. Everyone's past fears and beliefs, in fury rose up to punish humanity, or remind them that they existed due to humankind's indecisive nature and forgetfulness, they had forgotten anything mythical had ever existed at all, substituting the unknown with science, and awakening the slumbering deities of old, along with personifications of fears, sins, and monsters coming into being.

However, the gods seemed to have disappeared now within the past few months, and everything is slowly beginning to grow a bit more... twisted than before. The things that came with the return of the gods, were passive at first after the gods reinstated their power and each pantheon claiming their own territory of the world suddenly turned aggressive, deciding to chomp at every natural living thing they come across. Naturally, this led to disaster

A large sum of the world is dead, leaving around a billion people left, and you illegitimate love childs are thriving for one reason or another, having discovered a fraction of your abilities, aware of your lineage or not. Either way, you have only scratched the surface of your abilities.

Regardless, as of today, the year 2040, you illegitimate love childs all wake up in Athens, Greece, except there's no one around save for a few hundred other illegitimate love childs, and something is definitely off...
