  1. The Counter-Criticism
  2. By Abele Capardo
  3.
  4. Introduction
  5. Hear ye, rebels! Hear ye, resistance! The knowledge contained in this book exposes the fallacy in your philosophy. Read on, and witness the Counter-Criticism of the Union.
  6.
  7. Chapter One: Instinct
  8. I am sure you have all seen the Breencasts. You have all seen his speech about instinct. Instinct is out enemy! The Union has freed us from its foul binds. It may have protected and guided us when we were a young species, but now we are strong. Together with the Union, we can advance our species, and be freed of instinct.
  9. Instinct causes us to do things that are not in the interests of the Greater Good. Procreative activity is driven by instinct. Aggresiveness is caused by instinct. We need to learn to use our rational minds, not our instincts.
  10. Reproduction is just one instinct. It is a great deal of progress, to say we are free from its binds. For the first time ever, we have a reason to exist, other than to reproduce! We can do great things, working with the Union.
  11. There are some of you who have inquired as to why the Union has shut down reproduction. Frankly, I think that those people are still under instincts iron grip. Shame on you.
  12.
  13. Chapter Two: The Metropolice
  14. Chapters two and three are a couple. They show the circular cycle of resistance. IT would be advised to read them through, then re-read both chapters, having the knowledge given to you in each.
  15. The Metroploice are noble. They are the finest police force in the world. They are also the only, but I assure you, they are far more advanced then previous police forces.
  16. Some have insulted their imposing outfits. Their masks may resemble skulls a small amount, but does it really matter? Are you so scared of that? It isn't even intentional. The UCA's masks and kevlar are of the finest quality, and they protect the lives of our officers.
  17. Another issue is what you malcompliants may call 'brainwashing'. In reality, it is releaving Civil Protection units from thier former memories. The units who do this are quite heroic. They sacrifice their memories to be free of instinct, and to become better officers. Shame on you for insulting them.
  18. And finally, there is the issue of harshness. This is where the circular cycle starts. The Union must be harsh, in order to stop malcompliant behaviour. If you were not so violently anti-Union, they could be nice, friendly officers. But no. You had to ruin it for us, 'rebels'. We endure harsh punishments so that we know actual anti-citizens are being punished rightfully.
  19.
  20. Chapter Three: The Resistance
  21. 'The Resistance' is the name of a violent band of killers. They are ruthless, killing people for their beliefs.
  22. It is comparable to the Holocaust, the activities of these 'rebels'. They would kill a man just for cooperating with the Union. They hold their pride high, thinking that we would be 'better off without' the Union.
  23. They are the reason that the UCA must punish harshly. They must make sure that there are not more of them, and that future 'Rebels' are discouraged from helping them, or believing their propaganda.
  24. Truthfully, The Resistance hold all the blame for these problems.
  25.
  26. Chapter Four: Conclusion
  27. What can you do to solve this? Hold your head high as you are beaten, knowing that by cooperating and enduring the beatings, you are helping! Do not listen to the resistance propaganda, report it! Help the Union! Join the ranks of the Civil Workers Union! Enlist in the UCA! Most of all, know the knowledge in this book as true, and live by the Union, they are your shepard.
