Day 4-6

      Slowly but surely, the town of Four Cannon was growing. Shops and homes were closer to completion, and there was even talk of a council being built up. It took a couple of days, but I managed to dig into what I now know is a 'cave' and decided to call this place my own. The smell of wet mold filled my snout, bringing me back to the time I left a wet towel in the laundry closet for a week. The air inside was damp and cool, sending a shiver down my spine. The cavern wasn't as deep as I thought it would be being equivalent of a 500sq ft apartment. I let out a huff in annoyance as I watched a spider crawl it's way up the ceiling. It will need work, A LOT of work, but I liked it.

I discovered too that I had a neighbor upstairs. While forging for more clovers and thistles, A stallion with a broken horn shacked up in a shack. I had watched him struggle building what now was becoming a a watchtower of sorts. I bet it would've been easier for him to get an earth pony's help, but I stood my ground watching him cause explosions to himself. Explains the broken horn. Another eventually came to help him work on it and I continued to watch the two converse as they toiled away, using their new muscles, flexing, pulling, pushing. Sweating and burning any calories they had to spare. Very hard at workers, I give them that.

What else happened? Oh right. Somepony in town now has a cockatrice for a pet. Saw it on my way back from gathering honey from the bees I found. (terrible story, I still have sting on my ass. ) Damn thing looks dangerous but I guess it could be useful in some weird way. Heard that he got it from exploration a group of them went on. Getting kind of ballsy to go out exploring so soon, but I guess it's the best way to build yourself up here. Eventually I would have to join in sometime to see what they saw as well, but it's only a matter of time before a dragon finds this place and lays waste to everything. That reminds me, I should continue cleaning what I can of this cave before my allergies start acting up.
