  1. Krush
  2. Half-orc Barbarian
  3. Chaotic Neutral
  4. Patron deity: Tempus
  5. Krush hails from the frozen north. He was born in Icewind Dale to a human mother. The tribesmen saw him as an abomination and he was cast to the wolf pit by the tribe’s shaman, sacrificed to the Spirit of the Wolf. But Krush survived despite being only few hours old. Armed only by his own teeth he slaughtered the vicious pack of wolves. Under the cloak of darkness the toddler slipped out of the camp into the wilderness. After a week surviving on his own, feeding on scraps, he was adopted by a bear. Drawing his strength from nutritious yet delicious bear milk, he grew stronger every day. Few years passed and Krush grew into a young man. But then tragedy struck.
  6. During their winter sleep, Krush and the bear were attacked by hunters. They killed the bear and took Krush into slavery. They bound him to a giant wheel powering a mill. They laughed at him, they told him he will be bound to work for them for next twenty years. He chewed through his chains, ripped his jailor’s arm and beat his captor’s to death with it. They weren’t laughing anymore. He found their leader and smashed a fist through his huge guts. He ripped the ribcage open and ate the still beating heart of his enemy. He snatched his adoptive father’s hide from the corpse of his killer and ran away into the wilds again. He climbed high into the mountains of Spine of the World.
  7. There, hidden on the highest peaks he found a cave, inhabited by an ancient barbarian hero. While not even raging snowstorm couldn’t quench Krush’s fury, kind words of the elder calmed him down. He taught Krush how to speak and behave like half human being he is. He told stories, about adventures, about slain enemies, about glory. They spent whole night sitting around fire, talking. With the first sunlight, the hero of old was dead. But he managed to pass down his legacy. Krush buried the old man, took his heirloom sword from the wall, draped his shoulders with his slain bear father and walked south.
  8. He did not remain in one place for long, driven by his lust for battle, victory and glory. Blood and corpses of monsters and those who opposed followed him wherever he went. He sought bigger and greater prey. Rumours of dragonlike creatures appearing in nearby swamps brought him to Brindol (or what is the name of the big city in the campaign). There he heard news brought by one of the Lions of Brindol of upcoming invasion, hobgoblin horde and of course dragon killing heroes. Not wanting to pass this glorious opportunity to gain more glory he made his way to the swamps to find said heroes.
  9. Description
  10. Krush is tall and muscular half-orc male with greyish green skin, black hair in pony tail, red eyes. He is covered in scars from his many previous battles. He wears boots, loincloth, breastplate, gauntlets - all decorated by claws, teeth or skulls he took as trophies. He also wears his bear father’s hide as a cloak draped over his shoulders with the head as helmet of sort. Krush is a simple man and he likes simple things: crushing enemies in battle, booze, wenches, fortune and glory.
