- It has been reported in the media that the police are trying to forbid video recording of their actions. This is both unconstitutional and counter-productive. Arresting reporters even more so. Whether or not the police are tyrannical, murderous autocrats, that is the perception I and many others now have. Your police appear out of control. Your chief appears to be a dangerous and petty tyrant. Amazing, the array of riot suppression gear available to the police. It makes apparent that your goal is not to serve the public but to oppress members of the public with legitimate concerns. You need to get a grip. You need to reign in the police. You probably need to fire the chief and disband the police department.
