[20:38] Vytal Endore says, "Weird...hadn't seen one in person ever.... well, ot that I knew of."

[20:44] Looking at the young Kurokaiyo, Kirai's smile would return. "So you think to become strong, you must subject yourself to such... savagery? That beating your knuckles bloody against a tree will make you a better fighter?" Kirai asks as he stares at Ai, his gaze unnervingly ominous.

"Have I ever taught you such foolish notions?" Shaking his head, he'd sigh softly. "No, I think not... These are the teachings of the brutes in the city, the sort that rely on overwhelming might to control others." Taking in a deep breath, Kirai would raise the torch he held, looking at it.

"But that is not the way of a Kurokaiyo. That is not the way of the Kageken. We control things more... delicately." So saying, he'd simply drop the torch. As it fell, his eyes would seem to glow ever so faintly, and his teeth would reveal themselves ever so briefly between his lips as he said. "Let me show you. Defend yourself, if you can. And whatever you do. Don't blink."

And as the torch his the ground, the sound of a water droplet disturbing a calm pool would resonate through the Dojo as Kirai effortlessly slipped into the stance of the Kageken. The Way of Shadows...

The Assassin's Fist.

In a blur, he'd meld with the darkness and leave ripples of it pouring forth in every direction, surging forth along with them to overcome Aiyamari.

This would be over quickly.

[20:51] whatever was flying through Ai's mind was once more an enigma. It didn't seem as though they were scared or intimidated. Nor did it seem they were confident in their abilities. A mere student is what Ai was, however a mere student that had an exact goal in mind.

"Delicate..." trails off the teen, repeating what his uncle had just said. Their feet slide apart from each other as the more brutish stance they had taken when sparring the tree had vanished entirely. It was replaced by something more refined as if preparing to dance with the Head Master ahead.

A deep exhale is made. Emptying out the entirety of their lungs as his eyes grew wide. He understood a bit of how to fight, certain places he should target, and he realized if he was a paper weight, then he'd have no hope in causing harm.

"I'm rea-" it came to pass that as the teen had finally prepared themselves, their uncle had already came forward full force. Both armscome up in an X with full intension of blocking the strike to the best of their ability.

"Dirty..." trails off the teen... Definitely hurt from such an attack but still seeking to carry on with the battle never the less.

Watching as form, his stance was calm and filled with is clear intent to beat down Ai for his foolishness. She shook her head dismissively as well along with Kirai. She would not fight unless she really had to like Aki was taught.

A slight smirk came over the little girls face. Watching the way her father fought was always interesting to her, his fighting style was quick and relentless. She wanted to learn that stance one day but she had a long road a head of her if she wanted to learn that.

Though keeping a close on the fight before it began Aki wanted to see how fast Ai would lose.

[20:56] Vytal Endore says, "How skilled is Ai again? I actually don't watch them much."
[20:57] Aki Kurokaiyo asks, "Was Ai ever skilled?"

[20:57] a human body could be heard bouncing around the arena as the Kuro-Cub attempted to keep up with the veteran fighter. As futile as It was, poorly timed dodges and drifts were made along with a horrid attempt at smacking into the combatant with barely any true skill in hand to hand combat.

Eventually a skidding green bean would be seen flying from the darkness, a few bruises here and there giving hint that, their salad had indefinitely been tossed without any sort of effort. It was expected, however... They had gotten one good hit in on Kirai. Which was enough for them. For now.

Picking themselves up into a kneel. A light exhale is made before a nod is given to his Uncle... Even as their cousins and fellow students were essentially trash talking them from afar. Nothing is said.

[20:59] He arrived just in time to see something interesting, his father using his own fighting style, Hebi's golden eyes brightened at the sight, as he always found this technique amazing.

He knew this would not end well for Aiya, but carefully watched the struggle to try to learn his father's steps to try to copy them later.

[21:03] Picking the torch back up, Kirai allows it's light to shine again dispelling the illusion that had suffocated it briefly.

"You shouldn't concern yourself so much with raw strength. There is no pride to be had in defeating a tree. Nor in scarring yourself so. Wrap your hands, and do not let anyone see them until those wounds have healed and the callous has faded. You are ruining your good looks."

With that said, Kirai would walk past the greenbean and shake his head, looking to Aki and Himari. "If you two would kindly assist him in cleaning up. Aki, if you'd show him how to properly behave as a Kurokaiyo, you'd have my thanks."

Then looking to Vytal and his brother Neklaus. "If you'd excuse me, I should see to my nightly meditation." He'd say, bowing to them before walking off.

[21:05] puts his arms behind his head as he watches and observes the fight from a far like everyone else, Those cyan blue eyes still glowing in contrast with his dark skin and his tall frame just standing next to those who could be older or younger than him- in which it's still pretty cool to be his abnormal height.

He watches his teacher fight with the style he aspired to learn himself. It was amazing, the skill it took to mix physical prowess with magic was always great and needed to be taught through long sessions of practice and lectures. It would be years before he could learn it but it wouldn't hurt to start practicing now.

"Well, Atleast Ai tried... no one can fault them for that. What are you guys up to after this? By the way, Where's Asuka?"

[21:07] "Test his skills if you wish to speak about it among yourselves," she'd add, giving a grazing gaze that would watch Aiyamari and seeing as they were taken out pretty quickly but it was imminent to the results. They were facing off with the superior of the Kurokaiyo and the Master of the Assassin's Fist.

A hand slowly shoots up, indifferent expression as she begins to take a path towards the twin of hers. "I will kindly take that position in helping them clean up."

She waits for anyone else who were wanting to join in her tow but it was mostly directed to, Aki.

Seeing as father walked off back outside to get some of his meditation done after teaching Ai a small lesson.

"Asuka is probably up to something no good like wise...knowing her..." She sighed knowing her and her antics was always reckless and wild most of the time.

However looking at Ai settling her gaze on her for a moment. Yawning some and moving over to help tend to Aiyamari.

"Yes, lets help clean up like he said so and Aiyamari you know father doesn't like when you fight without reason."

[21:13] it takes a moment or two, but the bruised teen picks themselves up and uses the back of their wrist to wipe off a bit of dust from their cheek. Speed, power, and elegance was something that he lacked.

"There's a reason." he states passively. He wasn't going to shy away from help by his kin. That'd be oddly disrespectful after all. Rather a nod is given to the two.

Naturally, have lost by a superior he wasn't going to question his uncle's words. He was obviously right if he beat him so badly.

He said in his hoarse, trembling voice, since he was deaf and didn't usually talk so much.

His reason didn't seem to impress Himari at all. In fact, it was a bit disappointing. Of course in most battles, a win is what you would normally aim for but here in the dojo a win,

"Doesn't matter. Your reason for fighting should be to improving your skills. If you don't, you'll be behind while the rest of us surpass you. Do you want that, Aiyamari? I'm sure you don't," she voiced, leaning a bit closer to their face to make their words more stern and crystal clear that she was being serious. She cared about his progress and training completion but she was also sort of strict.

[21:23] Vytal folded his arms, that cold look was normal from him but he didn't speak and he didn't shake his head in disapproval either. If anything, what Ai say was correct in his own way... even if their siblings disagreed- Vytal understood that kind of attitude, you never know what might happen... anyone can challenge anyone to a fight whenever they want and the world deemed that completely normal.

He himself didn't dare to challenge natural order, the dojo did and while Vytal understood Aki's tongue he also respected his master's wishes. He did not fight without reason, without purpose. He looked to Hebi who spoke in his rather weird way, He remembered he couldn't hear a word that came of the mouth of others... he read lips.

"To win is why some improve, Himari. I don't want to come off like a smart alec or anything but, some improve to win and to fight to win can push some to a point where they will. It's more dangerous though but only in the way that you might either fight too often or you will be deterred when you are pushed to a new low."

[21:24] "To win..." That was pretty admiring although it was pretty obvious in this day of age that none of the kids around here could even stand up to Kirai at all. It would take much years of training like he spoke off.

Gently taking the right fist of Aiyamari with her hand seeing it was quite bruised up and would only heal in time. "None of us around here could beat him but your resolve is noticed at least you tried."

Taking out a little cloth from the depths of her kimono and then damping it with a little bit of water to wipe off the little bits of dirt on her fist cleaning them off before then taking little bandages wrapping that one hand up.

Her ears would perk up a bit seeing Himari was being a tad bit strict.

"Mhm what she said."

[21:35] Ai listened to those around, they had good points. However some perhaps misunderstood what Ai meant by winning. Such things stemmed into many things and being a Bean of few words. Perhaps it would've been better to actually give an explanation. However such things were a pain.

"If I win against Uncle." he pauses, wincing lightly as the light cuts and bruises on his knuckles were cleaned. The adrenaline from a hard day's training had worn off. Now his plush skin was screaming in agony at such contact.

"It means I got better. Much better." he pauses a moment, a playful headbutt given to Himari.

"Even when I lose. The goal. Is to beat the person I lost to. So the goal. Here and forever. Is to win." it spreaded to not only just for his own want of success. No. If he won against everyone, when he came to the aid of his cousin's and fellow students.

His drive of success would see him through. Supposedly.

The soft bump to her head would be allowed and her eyelids would slowly close as she realized how they resolved this. Whatever their twin would strive for would be supported by Himari but if she was going to do so, she'd point them in the right directions.

"If you face defeat, learn from it and accept it with composure. That is the final code. Make sure you remember the others, I'm sure we'll be tested on it somehow and I'd like us both to be prepared," she states, lifting their head and reopening her eyes as simultaneously.

"I think I--…"

She'd yawn.

"I'll head to bed early tonight. Need to awake in the morning for a bit of training."

[21:49] He looked around to the others as he yawned for a second, a calm look on his face as he watched them interact with each other... He wasn't really in the family, so they didn't necessarily have to care about what he did anyway, he started to silently walk off with his smooth movements. You would hear the barely anything as he walked, his feet distributed weight quite smoothly by placing the foot's heel first and then the rest.

"I'll see you all, later. I have a little more to do... my family needs to eat and I'm kind of bored anyway."

[21:52] Hebi read his cousin's lips and approached her, being the eldest after his uncle Kirai, he felt the responsibility of taking care of everyone there.

He then uses sign language to let them know that he wants to do a training fight with them, after watching Kirai use Assassin's Fist, he felt the need to try to repeat the same moves.

[21:54] eyes came to a slow blink, a telltale sign that Ai did not want to actually conduct any sort of studying. However it was required to advance, to get stronger, and to eventually beat his uncle.

[22:01] In the middle of the mat they were preparing for the beginning of the fight, Hebi's expression becomes a little more serious and he assumes a battle stance similar to that of his uncle, but with some imperfections.

It was night and the dojo was dark, without his hearing he learned to trust his vision, but with his vision also impaired he needed to learn to feel the environment around him, he needed to blend in the shadows so his eyes would get used to the low luminosity.

So mana starts to emerge from his body, he was ready to start.

[22:06] That really seems to have worked. Hebi for a moment let himself go for the moment, his movements were much smoother than before, just by trying to mimic Kirai's position he already felt a big difference.

Maybe he hit her cousin a little too hard, so he then approaches her and extends his hand to help her.

[22:09] Blasted by Hebi's incredible force, it seemed Asuka has gotten rusty!

The blinding speed and precision of his attacks came quickly-- It was clear the young girl would need some work before she could perfect her art.

But for the moment, it was family teaching family, the best kind of growth.

Taking hold of Hebi's hand, and trying to hold back a laugh .. "You're pretty solid, Hebi! .. I'll catch up soon enough!!"
