Dear Abby’s roommate,

I’m Paige one of Abby’s best friends. When I heard she found out who her roommate was I was all excited for her so so far you have a pretty good start. I wanted to lay you in on a few things with Abby. She’s a very bubbly 18 year old girl who wants to give her life a meaning. She’ll do whatever she can to make her goals to change her life for the better. Pro tip - Abby is not a morning person. Unless she has class or plans in the morning she will be asleep. If you have some early classes on days she doesn’t just keep it down, she’ll do the same (don’t wake the grizzly). Abby likes clementines. She has two stuffed in her pockets at all times but that’s a story for another time. Abby appreciates the little things. Long pretty walks, walking up to breakfast and tea, mellow music, the arts. Something you should know about her is the fact you might see her carrying a disposable camera around sometimes. She only takes that camera on special trips with certain people. When she brings it you know those are valuable moments so keep an eye out for that. I hope the two of you enjoy rooming together because I sure did when we went to Norway together this summer. Abby’s a special kind of friend you want to keep around. Her humor is something I’ll be jealous you get to have now.
