Elsanna 17 Daughters Character Analysis

Daughter #1: As the eldest daughter she knows she is the mold her younger sisters and future descendants will compare themselves to. Regal and striving for perfection, she is the Adonis of the group. Jack of all trades she is capable of perfecting any skill she picks up. Her major problems stem from being the first to try everything knowing all eyes are watching her. For this she confides in Daughter #2 who knows her better than even Anna and Elsa. She is also the busiest of the children as she is prepping herself to be Queen of Arrendale and political focal point for when her sisters marry into other kingdoms. Because of this she is more distant from her sisters but what she lacks of in a deep personal connection, she makes up for by always checking in with them and helping them when she has the time but is wholly devotes herself to be the paramount Elsa daughter.

Daughter #2: To those who wouldn’t know any better, they would mistake Daughter #2 to be Daughter #1. Since she is second in line of command she does not have as much responsibility as her older sister and thus is more frequently seen with the others. She is the bridge between the sisters and often the one the girls all go to when they need something to be settled. Seeing her sister as the head, she does desire to be in a position in power yet does not risk anyone to get it. Cunning and smart she finds other ways to achieve her goals and steps up to the challenge when her sister is unable to do so. With a DIY attitude she prides herself on making it on her own with none the talent Daughter #1 although she will never admit Daughter #1 is her best friend and who understands her best. Think Scar if he didn’t despise Mufasa.

Daughter #3: The most like Anna of the bunch. She is lives life for the now and realizes with 2 very capable older sisters no one is scrutinizing her. She usually spends her time playing with her sisters or organizing events to the public. A jovial one Daughter #3 sees the beauty in all living things and will have many a touching moments with her sisters pointing out nature and discussing the importance of the surrounding ecosystem. She is especially fond of nature and will often take long walks by herself to see what new things there are to discover. As princess she is more concerned about settling alliances rather than furthering conflict and is the most willing to compromise to keep moral high.

Daughter #4: The architect. Her primary concern is to keep the kingdom flowing on a utility layer. She audits the assets and treasure while coming up with the best plan to allocate materials to the citizens whom she keeps an up to date census. Losing assets or money worries her and she instantly starts coming up with a plan to regain what is lost. She works on a strict timetable and hates when some of her sisters are late to the meeting. She keeps a log of all her formal interactions in the event she needs to go back to them later. On slow days she studies different types of economic philosophies and weighs the pros and cons of both. Loves sitting in on meetings and talking with other analysts from other kingdoms. Daughter #1 often leans on her for providing facts which she is willing to provide. Doesn’t need glasses but sometimes wears the frame just to make herself more presentable.

Daughter #5: This daughter is wholly devoted to the cause and wants to see the daughters of Elsanna spread far and wide, engulfing all the world. Ambitious and aggressive Daughter #5 is willing to do whatever it takes to impose the imperialistic portion of the plan. A visionary to the core she studies what she needs to carry out her mission. She reads different types of military formations, has sparring battles with her soldiers to find which unit utilizations work best. Has trained with her soldiers to understand the concept of war. Is favored by the soldiers as she gives empowering speeches and words of encouragement when times of war is needed. Although merciless to her foes, those that surrender and pledge full loyalty to Arrendale will be granted sanctuary and brought in to be taught the benefits and why it is better to be under Arrendale’s rule.

Daughter #6: An artist to her core, she loves all of the arts and actively pursues each one. Hangs out often with Daughter #3 and always has a featured event at any public gathering on whatever she is working on at the time. From singing to instrument playing to even physically demanding arts such as ballet and gymnastics Daughter #5 will not stop until she has mastered it all. Because of this, she is the least political person and hates doing queenly duties and always seeks to liven up meetings by injecting a brief break in singing or acting out what needs to be done as if she is playing charades. Interestingly enough she is not liberal enough in her ideas to want to stop any of the girls plans.

Daughter #7: A methodical one as her forte leans in the logical mindset of engineers and doctors she wants to research all that is around her to help her both her sisters and her people live long and healthy lives. Understands that there is more to science in a world of magic, she seeks to unite the two and has long discussions with Daughter #12 over the many nuances of troll magic. Her alchemy and inventions are used in every day lives to strengthen crops and boost longevity in lifespan. Not quite the mad scientist type she has created numerous amounts of supplements and potions that either enhance physically or mentally for her sisters to accomplish any task.

Daughter #8: An extrovert outdoorswoman who wants nothing more than to seek out a frontier no one has explored before. Daughter #8 journals many of her adventures in one of her many journals documenting the land surrounding her. Often travels by herself to far off islands exploring and claiming land in the name of Arrendale. Sees nature as a challenge to tame and understand. Although not a fan of occupying untouched land, she herself loves to feel a part of the surrounding ecosystem and makes her mark while exploring. Catalogs all lifeforms she sees, and has fought many a wild animal before although does not try and kill unless it is for food or self-defense. Her room is mostly a hotel between trips and has many souvenirs of her trips exploring the world. Always willing to take Daughter #3 to places she knows is safe enough to walk through.
