  1. Purgatory Beast
  2. Minions: Hellcats and Shadow Mastiffs
  3. Lightbearer: Shining Child
  4. Lurker In Light
  5.
  6. The Purgatory Beast is a large two headed hound with distinct personalities for each head. Each head is also connected to Light Or Dark. The Light Head is smart, conniving, and extremely willing to use spells to accomplish it's tasks, favoring Divine Spells over Arcane but capable of both. The Light Head is almost feral and wants nothing more than to rip the enemy apart. In addition it favors Arcane Spells for destruction alongside it's paws, but does use Divine at times.
  7.
  8. The Arena is a large room, with the Purgatory Beast chained to the large door leading out of the room, leaving it immobile but with a very large reach. In addition there are small portals to various realms lining the walls. There is also a large pane of magical stained glass showing the moon and sun on the ceiling. Whenever a spell is cast the Images shift to show either the sun or moon by itself and bathing the room in light or darkness respectively. If a Divine Spell is cast the light will shine while Arcane will force the room into darkness.
  9.
  10. When in The Light the Light Head gains power and takes control, using it's spells to rain on the party and heal it's minions. It is very aggressive and will play smart, targeting threats above others. As a result it will not be as focused on defense, allowing it to be hit much easier. When in The Dark the Dark Head takes control, blasting it's spells randomly and trying to hit the party, sometimes focusing the blasts on it's minions to hope to catch the party in the crossfire. It acts very defensively and reactively, only directly attacking the Party with it's claws if they reveal themselves in the darkness such as using a fire spell or other light based spell. This will trigger an Attack Of Opportunity from it no matter where the caster is. Making noise or any other less obvious action will cause the Purgatory Beast to attack that position on it's next turn regardless of if the creature moves. In The Dark the Purgatory Beast has higher AC but with it's lack of dark vision it's easier to avoid being attacked.
