  1. New Premise. Name; "The Should and The Is"
  2. Themes; What defines a human? and the nature of humanity.
  3. Cosmic Horror, intense religious overtones, societal shift
  4.
  5. Told from the perspective of the news or others about a mad scientist/"crazy person".
  6. The reason the news is focused on him is that he has spent a fortune constructing an inward facing fortress around a mineshaft which he claims leads to "Eden" which he'll describe as "all that was, all that is, and all that will, and yet is only what could."
  7. As the story will progress the man will gradually start to claim that God will not let humanity leave the Earth that we are not worthy to do so, at least anymore or yet, he does not know or if he does tell why. He'll begin to work on two new "man" one of which is what he believes would be "an icon of man as it is" and the other being "the icon of man as we should be" while also working on "their Lilith and Eve"
  8. The second part where the story shifts is when he claims "we are all the bastards of Adam and children of Lilith" and will claim that Cain was actually the son of Adam and Lilith while Abel was from Adam and Eve. For whatever reason this garners a violent response from the interviewer who tries to attack him but begins to foam at the mouth and fall over. Then the man will then seem to mock him by calling him "a true man of Gomorrah" before seeming to leave without moving. This causes widespread panic with some people believing him to be a prophet while others believe him to be a demon wearing the skin of a man.
  9. As the story moves truly out of Genesis the man's "new man" are completed, one being a giant biomechanical monster who wants to be left alone while also comforted at the same time, the second will be a tall, pale, slim man who while enjoys the company of others seems to be more stoic, their names would be Gilgamesh and Moses respectively though when he speaks about them he'll only refer to one as "the is" and the other as the "the could". One night a young journalist will sneak past the inward facing fortress' walls and makes her way towards the so called "Eden" she'll enter the main tunnel where unbeknownst to her both Gilgamesh and Moses are watching, Gilgamesh infuriated that someone has trespassed on him and his brother's home attacks the journalist rearing his full size of almost 100 meters tall before chasing her from the tunnel.
  10. At this point nobody believes the girl who then ventures back, this time Gilgamesh is sleeping and Moses is with his "father" the man. The girl will reach "Eden" and reach out and place her hand on it, while she does so she thinks of Gilgamesh and she turns into a similar being. At which point Gilgamesh will awake and find her. The girl will be terrified of both herself and Gilgamesh, but the man and Moses will enter at which point both will be unable to move, Moses will then refer to the girl as "My brother's Lilith" before Moses disappears and the girl and Gilgamesh can move. The man then calls Gilgamesh Adam, effectively changing his name.
  11. The camera the person that became Lilith was holding would record all of this lending credence to her previous claim and would cause uproar outside of the inward facing fortress.
  12. This incites a group of people to try to destroy Adam and Lilith calling themselves the "Holy Few" and in an unorganized attack almost a week later are ripped apart and eaten by Adam and Lilith who seem to bond and understand on another during the "meal". This causes Adam to able to understand and bond with something outside of his brother but only Lilith as neither can "speak" in a way anyone other than Moses can understand. The two then begin to explore one another with a lipless kiss and physical embrace and the two begin a romantic, for lack of a better term, relationship.
  13. Some time would pass and Adam would be tasked with making his own armor by the man, and one for Lilith. While Adam is working his metal on a forge that uses magma as its heat source Lilith visits him and the two elope in the fiery forge. Adam then finishes the pair's armor and returns to his father. Adam's newfound demeanor of elation seems to put his father at rest, and he is unsure why, but the man is pleased that Adam can love at all, it brings him hope that perhaps the "true man" can be redeemed in the eyes of God, however he thinks it was a kiss or embrace not the pair eloping.
  14. As time passes it is clear that Lilith is pregnant much to the shock of the man but not Moses. Adam is told he must guard the entrance to Eden while his "bride" is pregnant. During this time his body absorbs the armor and the armor becomes part of his body, it shifting and becoming organic.
  15. While this is happening there are open protests to the man's work but the government refuses to involve itself not wishing to anger the "Behemoth" and finding that the man has done no wrong. One night Moses and his father leave the fortress to purchase a gift for Adam and to have dinner between them during which the man is harassed and a group surrounds the pair with the intent to seemingly attack the man and are extremely uneasy around the almost glowing Moses, when one does strike at the man Moses seems to move to take the blow and his body parts around where the strike would've gone but slows it down all the same. The attacker then grabs at Moses and the attacker loses all of his features becoming a faceless white humanoid shape. The others then flee and Moses offers the newly featureless man a hand up and the man reforms into a healthier version of his previous health, a few inches taller and in perfect health but seemingly blank behind the eyes.
  16. The pair then decide to return to the inward fortress with nothing to show for it.
  17. While they were out the "Holy Few" had launched another attack on the Adam but had already failed and the man and Moses see both Adam and Lilith feasting on the corpses much to Moses's horror. Moses chastises his brother claiming that those men had families to which Adam communicates in his way "and I have mine to protect too" as Lilith arises from the depths with three babies like them but seemingly less monster-y but alien all the same. Lilith announces the names of the children, the son being Solomon, the two daughter being named Esther and Miriam.
  18. Once the children are born they grow rapidly under the care of their parents. At this point another Journalist tries their hand at filming the strange "giants of inward fortress" and succeeds in getting past the defenses after about a week. He uses his phone to record Adam and Lilith playing with Solomon and Esther but he fails to notice the curios Miriam who grabs him and runs to show the man to the rest of her family. Adam and Lilith decide to put the man on a ledge and wait for Adam's father to return. Moses appears to the man, and envious of his brother offers to free him from the ledge after a few hours, the man accepts and Moses lifts him and floats over "Eden" who he then drops the man into it. The man emerges seemingly a perfected version of the man but with a black glow to contrast Moses's white, Adam turns to the newly emerged man and conveys "Joshua" to him.
  19. However the relationship between Moses and Adam has grown strained, Moses feeling envy towards the seemingly happy Adam while Adam finds Moses' morality when it comes to defending his family to be not his business and Moses dropping the now "Joshua" into Eden.
  20. Soon, the man grows ill, and dies of it, leaving Adam and Moses without a unifying force split, with Adam staying and guarding Eden with Lilith who is pregnant once more and Adam and Joshua leaving to discover what they are, both as people and as living creatures.
  21.
  22. Years pass and the Inward Fortress ceases to resemble its old form within the walls walk giants and creatures alien that are human all the same. Adam breaks down the small entrance to the tunnel that leads to Eden and constructs a great Iron gate with Solomon to allow them to leave and shut themselves in as they please. However, unbeknownst to Adam he had almost doubled in size since his creation and once he left the walls of the fort in but one step it caused a panic in the nearby city as the ivory white creature approached, Lilith by his side and his children in tow, but they all seem to glow and begin to fade the closer they get before they disappear leaving only footsteps.
  23. However deep within the inward fortress the Eve denied Adam wakes from her slumber to join the husband she was fated but never had.
