his friends mostly left him as they couldn't understand
why he became so fucking unpleasant and cynical

as he tweets the word “cunt” at Anita Sarkeesian
he smirks as the tweet goes out

he gets his guitar out for the first time in a year
and pens a little ditty called “Feminism is Cancer”
he posts it and gets a message from a drummer who says
“in this plague of liberal cuckoldry, songs like this are the answer”

the two meet up, and they write more bullshit
and on alt-right Twitter they're noticed
in three weeks they got bass, strings, harp
and a quartet of saxophonists

they played their first show at a DIY place
half the audience left, they couldn't handle the smell
the band were booed and heckled the whole way through

three more shows, and still no better reception

but down on their luck, they get a message
from a cock named Milo, he's a fan of their art

they drove for four hours to Milo's place
and they couldn't believe what they were seeing

as Kevin began to regret all the shit that he'd said, he grumbled

the band did time for a little while

after two weeks recovering, he spat up some blood and yelled
“why did I get into this Nazi stuff?”

he walked out of prison broke and afraid
he had no friends with whom he could party
grimacing in anguish, he screamed at the sky

AND MAKING ME A NAZI!”

he sat bankrupt on a street corner thinking
“this is what socialism could have prevented”
the solace of his parents' basement was so far out of reach
and the red sky above him lamented

Kevin died at 37, two years after his brother
Hopped in his car and played a Moonman cover of Kanye West
His final gasped words and engraved on his slab were:
