  1. The reason I want to be a part of the community at Outwood sixth form is to study the subjects maths, computer science and physics. From a young age, I have always been fascinated by the way things such as computer hardware and software works, I remember staring, mesmerised, at my brothers computer being deeply confused at how it could display an image onto the computer monitor yet wanting nothing else but to learn how it works, fueling my want for studying computer science.

  3. I have always been a very well behaved student and I think I have always made it my best to listen in class.

  5. In my spare time, I try to be creative. Ever since I was around 13 I would play with programs such as Photoshop and After Effects where I would make things such as social media art for free and small animations that I would stare at trying to find any little mistake, I could refine. I believe creativity is a big part of writing a program as you need to think outside the box to solve problems. Last year, I found that I enjoyed solving puzzles interesting, it started with simple math problems and now I am trying to practice solving a Rubik's cube very quickly. This interest is good for maths as there can be things such as complicated algebraic expressions.

  7. I look forward to taking the next step into adult life and the challenges that come along with it.
