	life for hanbyeol was always tough, even before he was born. his mother, being the kind, beautiful and gullible girl she was, ened up dating and getting pregnet by a senior in highschool who used her in order to brag with his friends. she was already a foreigner, comimg from japan, so she could only smile as people pointed and laughed because she didn't understand and assumed everyone has good intentions. things went on that way until she could no longer attend school because of her pregnancy and soon her world shattered when bongju, the father of her unborn child, refused to talk to her and revealed that he didn't love her or the baby. now, eunhui was a tough girl and made it through the first few years of her life as a mother easily with her parents help and the money she got from her job as a cashier even though she had to give up on her education for the time being. as a child, hanbyeol was often alone. his mother had to work and his grandparents couldn't spend much time with him since they had lives of their own. he was picked on in school for being ugly and an embarrassment because he was an accident and his father didn't want him.

	it was only natural that because his father abandoned his kind and loving mother when she needed him the most, he had abandonment issues planted deep in his heart. he didn't want to end up like his mother, struggling with heartbreak and being used by someone who he loved with all his heart. he was afraid to allow himself to love. as he grew older, he only grew more separate from people while also being the center of attention. it was no doubt that he was attractive, both his mother and father being good looking people. he smiled and acted fake with other kids, forcing himself to laugh and seem like he belonged. in reality, he was in a constant state of nervousness and panic. what if he said the wrong thing? what if he laughed at the wrong time or didn't laugh at all, would he seem weird? it was an endless and sad cycle that no child should go through. though he was afraid to get too close, he was also afraid of not being close enough. he didn't want people to hate him so he tried his hardest to fit in with them. maybe if he was loved by his peers, the hole in his heart would be filled and he wouldn't always feel so lonely.

	dance became a way for him to let all his trapped emotions out and not have so much anger, fear, sadness, and anxiety trapped within him. he didn't take lessons despite his mother constantly assuring him she could afford it. though he was definitely not the smartest cookie, he wasn't stupid and could tell that they were just barely making it. he settled with teaching himself by just focusing his mind on a single emotion and moving his body to the beat of his heart. he was a natural dancer and his mother was his biggest fan, clapping as if he was onstage even if he was only joking around in the living room while watching cartoons. he loved the way she smiled brightly adn her eyes twinkled watching him dance and he vowed he'd make as many people as possible look at him with such happiness and pride clear on their faces. with that in mind, he made his decison to become an idol and impress people with his dance moves. he was so sure until his heart was shattered when his mother, the kind and caring woman she was, got played with again by someone hanbyeol trusted in. his mother had started dating this man that was seemingly so nice and gentle, teaching hnabyeol things about dance and watching him when his mother started night school. hanbyeol trusted this man so mcuh that he revealed all his fears, his doubts and insecurites. it wasn't until his mother revealed she was pregant that things changed. the man came around less and when he did he only stayed long enough to argue with eunhui then leave again. once the beautiful baby girl was born, he stopped coming around all together and another hole grew in hanbyeol's heart.

	hanbyeol made it his job to look after his sister, not wanting anyone or anything to hurt her. he only cared about his family and almost gave up dance completely, afraid to leave his family to be hurt again. he didn't allow himself to dance again until his mother told him how much she loved him and how his graceful moves made her heart swell with pride, how his bright smile made any day seem 10x better and how much she'd love to see him dancing on stage, showing the world his moves and bragging to all her friends that her son was a big star like his name says. he cried until he couldn't cry anymore, all his emotions spilling out at once when he heard those words. not long after that, he auditoned with FM Ent. despite not knowing much about them. as a trainee, he was very overwhelmed he was only 16 and was surrunded by so many beautiful and talented people. as if it as a type of defense, he became the very defeniton of confidence. he flirted, he teased, he did all the things he was afraid to do before. perhaps it was becasue he didn't know any of the people or maybe it was becasue he was afriad to be himself around people who seemed so sure of who they were. he never dated over his years as a trainee, only playing dangerous games with male and female trainees alike. he nver went past heated kisses however, afraid that once he crossed that line he'd fall apart and loose somwthing he didn't even know he had. he should've been happy when he was annouced to be debuting with andro but he couldn't help but feel like he was only a last option and that he wasn't as important as the others.

	at first glance, he just seems like a very cildish and horny guy who really needs to learn what personal space is. he is a big pouter and makes the maknae look like the oldest because he's constantly whining. as part of the maknae line, he does sometimes get a pass but it only gets a guy so far. that's when he goes into 'beast mode'. he's often seen trying to get the memebrs to do things for him by being very touchy and whispering into their ear, being the hoe he truly is. he's a bit of a spoiled brat because of this, wanting to get his way all the time. it's really all a big joke but sometimes hanbyeol really enjoys it and takes it quite seriously. he's the secondest biggest prankster, using his charming smile and natural ability of keeping people ditracted to get away with things that the other often get blamed for. seemingly, he doesn't take things seriously since he always replies with a smirk, a shrug, or just a blank look but he can be very professional and responsible when he really needs to be. he adds to the groups comidic side and prefers being funny and teasing over being serious like a few of the members. he's really just testing the water most of the time since he wasn't originally supposed to debut with the group and isn't sure how they feel about him. it's a little weird but he likes weird things, they keep the world interesting.

	hanbyeol is a lot more of a confusing person than most people think. he seems very simple but he's actually very complex. his confident and flirtatous side is really just a mask he puts on himself to keep people from wondering or worrying about him. he's actually very afraid of the world and the people in it. he's constantly worried that he's going to say the wrong thing or that people hate him or that he isn't good enough to debut. he knows that the member's care for him(or he hopes so at aleast) but he can't help but think that maybe, just maybe, the group would be better off without him a part of it. he's the biggest pessimist and wishes he wasn't but he can't really help himself, after all the dissapointment and broken promises in his life it's hard to not be the way he is. to keep from upsetting others and being an annoyance, he just plays around and smiles while teasing them as a way to fill that empty heart of his. he only enjoys skinship becasue it offers a temporary fix for his loneliness. when amember allows him to just hold them and kiss their cheek or even their lips, he feels such a nice warmth even if it's only for a while. he's convinced he can't love and won't be loved so he just goes for what he can, whether it be good or not.

» | how they act in public: in public, his sexiness is toned down just a bit. he still can't give the members personal space. putting a hand on a thigh, kissing a cheek, or whispering things in someone's ear(whether they're dirty or not, they surely get the memebrs a little flustered). he's slightly more professional when answering questions, knowing when to take things seriously or not and how to appropriately answer. he, though it isn't obvious, completely locks himself up from personal questions and often dances around topics rather than giving straight answers or staying to one topic.

	they met when hanbyeol was a year and a half into his training, when gwangjin first got accept as a trainee and didn't know anyone. hanbyeol immediatly stood out, maybe becasue of the aura of false confidence or maybe because of the fact that he was dancing around topless. gwangjin was unsure of himself and just tried to keep his head low and walk past but he ended up bumping into hanbyeol anyway and almost fainted when he felt those ab muscles. actually, he did faint and hanbyeol spent a good half an hour running around and screaming.

	 ↬ hanbyeol; because he was so into his dancing, he didn't notice gwangjin easily despite the other male actually being taller than him by a lot. once he was almost knocked over by the really tall male and had him faint next to him, he was sure that the giant was boring and/or really weird. i mean, who runs into someone and just faints? but hanbyeol would be lying if he said the weirdo wasn't cute and the sight of him made hanbyeols heart jump.

 ↬ gwangjin; from the moment he saw hanbyeol dancing around gracefully with abs of steel, gwangjin was sure he was staring at a legit god. he almost wanted to drop to his knees and pray. once he actually woke up after fainting and saw the concerned expression on the really cute yet hot yet kind of scary hanbyeol, he thought that he's actually fallen in love at first sight. (also, that boy had the sexiest smirk in the universe like gwangjin almost fainted again but he'd already embaressed himeself enough)

	after their fling as trainees, hanbyeol was pretty much done with him. he figured that once he debuted, gwangjin would move on or at least see that hanbyeol didn't want something serious. what he didn't expect was for gwangjin to actually pursue him, to vist his dorm and try to spend time with him whever he has time. because of this, he acts really cold to him. he doesn't want anything to do with him(which isn't true at all) and wants to get rid of him as fast as possible so he just tries to be mean. he ignores him when he's knocking on the door of the dorm, ignores him when he visits the practice room and even ignores the calls he gets at least 3 times an hour. he would never admit it but it hurts him to treat gwangjin that way but he's afraid to let him in anymore, worried that he'll only be led on and have his heart stomped on. as time goes on however, he stops being a brat and actually looks at things with a clear head. he knows he's hurting gwangjin and htes it so he actually trys to treat him like a friend..with a few benefits. he'd be lying if he said he didn't enjoy when the tension between them became too much and just snapped, sending the too of them into a heated makeout session that hanbyeol always ends before things go too far which only builds up the sexual tension. he knows it's bad but he can't help that his body moves in its own. he likes teasing and cuddling with the tall bean whenever the other memebrs aren't around or are too busy to notice. he tries not to think about it, just acting like his normal and childish self. he doesn't think about how fast his heart beats when gwangjin smiles or how his head spins once they finish kissing or even how cold it is when they finish cuddling and his friend(or are they more, hanbyeol isn't sure if he's brave enough to say) has to leave. he really wants to give his heart away, he truly does, that warm smile and the sweet nothings that are whispered into his ear make him want to cave but he's too afraid to do that. in the end, hanbyeol allows himself to love. he's a confident, attractive, talented idol for god's sake. he can handle it if things go wrong. he lets his emotions pour out, not stopping them and looking his fear straight in the eye. the amount of joy that fills his heart makes him want to sing when the two of them finally get together. he no longer has to deny his feelings and can just be his crazy, hoe self around him which is amazing. he doesn't stop things when they start to escalate, if you know what i mean, and embaraces all the love and care that he receives, wondering what he was so afraid of in the beginning.

	gwangjin, to put it simply, is in love. he is so sure that the short dancer is who he's meant to be with so it's only natural that he..spends at least 2 hours banging on the door of his dorm to try and get a memebr to let him in or for hanbyeol to come and talk to him. he knows it's weird and not at all attractive but he can't keep his mind off hanbyeol so his options are limited. he tries his hardest to grasp the idol's attention and tries to be as kind as possible to let him know that won't hurt him and that it's okay to like him, if he does. he holds back the jealously that rises in him whenever he sees hanbyeol being too friendly with the members, sliently wishing that he can get the same attention. later on when hanbyeol finally lets him in, he's the biggest little puppy who is tied to hanbyeol's heels. he's always at every show and cheers the loudest to be a supportive..friend. right because the two of them are only friends. it isn't like gwangjin really expected for hanbyeol to just throw himself at him and beg for him to take him or anything but being forced to stay only friends when he really just wants for the kisses they share to maean something to both of them. it's hell for him be deosn't show it. he only treats hanbyeol like a king, doing whatever, whenever to keep him happy. he makes it his job to keep him healthy and make sure that nothing brings him down. towards the end, he's the biggest supportive boyfriend ever. he almost nver stops smiling around his boyfriend (it feels nice when he can actually think of their relationship that way) and is an even bigger puppy dog than ever.
