Cakey looked around, wondering what could be making such a sound only to see a black mass in the distance. Her curiosity got the best of her instead of turning back like any sane trainer. She had to know what it could be. Knowing her past battles against the strange Ultra Beasts, this had to be another one.
Climbing up some unsteady dark steps, Cakey tried to keep quiet in hopes of catching it off guard only to lose her footing! The stairs underneath her crumbled as she scrambled to the top, clutching her bag to her side before hearing a roar!
The Ultra Beast heard her but didn't seem to move from it's spot, continuing to shove rubble pieces into it's mouth. Cakey had yet to see the maw that could devour chunks of a building so with a new resolve to see this through, the pokemon trainer took in a deep breath before jumping down into a broken wall that led to a room.
The rest of the trip through these broken down buildings was easier the closer she got, finding broken pieces making a path towards the Ultra Beast. It's body was round and large, towering over Cakey easily with skin dark as the night. It seemed to have multiple limbs, each one grabbing different pieces of the building to shove all of them at once in it's mouth.

Almost slack jawed at how easy this so called 'battle' ended up being made Cakey shakily reach down to the ground and pick up the blue tinted ball.
She was worried it would be a bad idea to release the Ultra Beast in it's own world so tucking the ball into her bag, Cakey tried to find a safe way back to the warp hole she came from back to Alola where she would be safe.
She hoped at least.

After returning to Alola, Cakey took her new found pokemon to Hau'oli City where the beach would give her enough space to help her Guzzlord, as he was called she found out after speaking with the local Professor, get adjusted to his new home.
