➯ birth to 5th grade ! ; kang minsun was born to kang dohyun and hyojin on august 29th of 2002. she was a result of a one night stand turned into a marriage forced by minsun’s grandparents due to her parents only having been nineteen. her parents tended to fight a lot. minsun got used to being a nurturer because she had to always shield her younger brother, hyunkyu, from her parents fighting. minsun was always more close to her mother, since her mom was always kind to her and her father was standoffish. she was always very friendly, and easily had a lot of friends as a kid, but her closest had always been a girl named kim eunji and a boy named jung jaeho. as she grew up, it was easy to tell that she had the ‘wouldn’t hurt a fly’ kind of attitude and was more of a lover than a fighter.
➯ middle school ! ; in the summer between elementary and middle school, her mother was so unhappy that she took her own life. minsun had cried herself to sleep for the next two weeks. after that her home life got worse and her father resorted to excessive drinking, which made him start to verbally abuse minsun and hyunkyu. when she went to school for 7th grade she met moon yohan, who she started to tutor korean to. he made her laugh and was really kind to her, which made her feel better about everything that was going on and they became good friends.
➯ high school ! ; in high school she started feeling much better, especially since she could go to more places by herself and get out of her father’s house. she mostly just spent time with her closest friends, yohan, jaeho, eunji, and a boy named park taewon that yohan had befriended. when yohan had tried out and made the football team minsun got really nervous and worried for his safety and she realized that she had feelings for him. yohan had asked minsun out the last day of school their freshman year and they started dating during the summer. one day during her sophomore year, she walked in on her father almost hitting hyunkyu and she quickly intervened. she started yelling back at him, which resulted in herself almost getting hit. from that point on, she only really went there to sleep and she barely slept there, mostly at friend’s houses. she would only really go there if her brother was going to be there, because she hated leaving him alone with their father. around the time of the school trip she started getting suspicions that she was pregnant.

➯ yohan mostly comes off as a shy person, he’s not one to usually strike up conversation with people he doesn’t know that well. he is a very gentle person to most everyone and mostly above all to minsun. he is athletic and loves football, he basically changes on the field. due to being more gentle he had chosen an offensive position rather than defensive. yohan is clingy, but not clingy as in jealous, he just loves physical affection and is mostly always clinging onto minsun.  if minsun had to explain him in one word, she would say “puppy”. He can sometimes act like an airhead and can have no clue as to what is going on. Yohan also comes from a pretty wealthy family, but doesn’t act like the stereotypical snobby rich kid.

➯ at first he was shy and didn’t talk at all so she was curious about the new kid. minsun still remembers how when she talked to him for the first time after a few days, she blushed and giggled at how cute she found his broken korean and stumbling over his words.

➯ beginning ; during the very start she acts pretty normal and lovey around him, but the more she realizes that she’s pregnant, the more closed off she acts.

➯ kim eunji [김은지] ; born february 2nd 2002 (age 17) ; face claim is jo serim (odna) of everglow. eunji is one of minsun’s closest friends and they have been best friends ever since kindergarten. eunji is more of a reckless person and minsun finds herself having to clean up after eunji’s messes. although eunji’s carelessness, she’s still a good friend and they both share everything with each other.
