Like This, Forever?

"You're afraid of the press" doesn't mean you're scared CNN or Fox will drag you out of your home and beat you.

It means that there are fundamental facts about reality that they refuse to acknowledge. Whether that means aspects of politics, history, science, philosophy or theosophy, the establishment has built a proverbial house of cards (lies and half-truths) that self-perpetuate and self-validate.

They do this by means of Big 6 Corporate Media, false "Grassroots" controlled-opposition, censorship (book burnings/bannings throughout history changed a lot about who we are), and through the top brass of academia, finance, politics, religion, and military.

Being scared of the media means you're afraid to believe in something unknown (God, Atlantis, aliens, you name it) with conviction.

It's a quiet pressure. It's a fear that also keeps people silent when crimes are committed. Even vast crimes. Nobody wants to be the one who sticks their neck out first. No one wants to die alone.

Somewhere, on some level, deep down, I think everyone knows there are things we simply /can't/ talk about. On a cultural level; a national, political level, even.

Something I've been thinking about but feel a tinge of ostracism for asking... The paranormal and the conspiracies aside, what if there really is an alien presence right here on Earth? A so-called elephant in the room. So many people say they're already here. That they may walk among us. Why is everything "officially" mundane? To me it seems like the world isn't mundane at all.

Deep down, don't people know things aren't as they seem? That something is amiss?

Are we pretending our way of life, as it is, is here to stay forever?
