An abstract pattern of geometric shapes in various colours has been
tattooed onto a flat area of skin. The tattoo is not large in area but
is extremely complex, consisting of scores of intertwined geometrical
shapes arrayed in a pattern which eludes easy understanding. Closer
examination reveals that many of these shapes are natively in three,
four, or more dimensions, but have been projected into fewer dimensions
onto one another, ultimately resulting in the two-dimensional
representation that encodes these structures. The many surfaces are
canted at angles calculated to deflect energies, such that nearly any
frequency of any energy coming from any direction will encounter a
surface likely to at least partially absorb, diffract, reflect,
destabilize, polarize, attenuate, or diffuse it, resulting in a potent
lattice of defensive matrices.
