- 6b. Entr’s Moon Manip (optional)
- Entr's Moon Manip is useful to have in your back pocket (though it is less optimal in general) if you plan to fight or flex the route 3 Lass.
- In the race route, some runners consider their pace compared to the other racers and their Horn Attack count to decide whether they skip the route 3 lass and do Route 3 Moon Manip OR fight the Lass and one encounter and do Entr's Moon Manip.
- Another note for races with respect to nido manip: pokeball is typically in slot 2, but the manip is the same, simply keep down held when you throw the ball and the slot 2 item is used.
- 7. Complete runs with the above race route or a similar route of your choosing for 1:50-1:55 or better
- 8. For Red Races review hp strats for races along with defensive/offensive ranges to sort out the idea behind the healing strategies to play optimally. Playing riskier than the hp strategies is okay if you need to make up time.

- Optional: try learning "triple extended" extend into bird (1), into no encounter forest (2), and first turn stringshot (3).
