“An android is a robot shaped like a human,” Holt continued. He waggled his fingers, and several dozen T-spheres grouped together to form a human shape. “Android has a Greek root, ‘andr-,’ which means man.”
“Finally, a cyborg blends a human body with mechanical or electronic features,” Holt said. He moved his hands again, and the T-spheres molded themselves around him, leaving only his face exposed. “Cyborg is a combination of cybernetics and organism.” He made a quick gesture, as though he were flicking something off his sleeve, and the T-spheres returned to their original hovering positions.
