- *Dr. Mike Guenthner(Mike43) had been working on this project for a bit now. Going on almost 10 years. He'd known about the divine fruit through various texts he'd come across. It was something similar to the Philosopher's stone, another object of power. He'd been pouring his time and effort it into it more as a side project as he worked on training his control over Ripple and helping the people of Earth training with his Gravity magic. While he watched the others work on becoming stronger he had stagnated just a bit. But he did have to once again grow up through a second childhood thanks to the potion of youth, but that hadn't stopped him from training. Though unlike training this project was a slower process. The seedling had been growing under controlled conditions. Utilizing his control over ripple and sunlight magic he'd been feeding it sunlight for the last ten years along with enhanced water using water magic, the surrounding area to the plant also being enriched with pure are. His magical talents seemed oddly perfect for horticulture as the planet took root and grew steadily. It didn't take it long to grow to the point were it budded a small fruit, though the really thing wouldn't be ready for ten years. As the years had gone by he'd watched and tended to the plant. The fruit growing bigger over the time and before long the end of it's growth was slowly approaching. He didn't know how this fruit was going to effect him. It should make him stronger, so he hoped he'd be able to defend himself but in truth, he didn't really think it would make much of a difference. He was a but a healer living amongst monsters. Looking at the fruit before returning to tending to it for the time being. Knowing soon it would be ready. He had to keep hope, this little fruit might be just enough to get him to be able to do more then just standing on the sidelines like he had been for the majority of his life. Though as luck would have it. it seems something had gone wrong with the plant. one day returning to tend to it, the fruit had withered away. it was. . . devestating. ten years of work and effort just for it to be for nothing. he wanted to give up but he kept his spirits. another ten years. .. surely he'd get it right; [Might Fruit Dev]*
- 04/30/26(18:06:41) *Dr. Mike Guenthner(Mike43) Looking at the plant that was growing in his room. It had been nearly ten years since the last one had withered away on him, but with this new plan it was growing at a lower pace as he cut back a bit on the mineral water, and made sure the soil was pest free. The last one had a few small bugs in it that had leeched off the plants energy and drained it of it's vitality. But he had been able to make sure that no supernatural or otherwise pests were going to be a problem for his fruit this time. He was idly tending to it's needs has he had done nearly every day since having to restart this project. He was a patient man and he was reward with the plant being healthy and even the fruit seemed to have a brighter color to it as it's sheen was a bit reflective. With it seeming to be in such good health it put a smile on his face. Giving it the water and a mineral stick he sighed as he wondered if the results would be worth it in the end. Though part of him didn't even care if they were amazing or not. This had somewhat become therapeutic to him. He was a caring soul and tending to this plant gave him some fulfillment. It wouldn't be much longer till it was fully grown and the fruit ripe. [Might Fruit Dev ]*
- (Optional) Sample RP of you with the skill:
- Mike looked at the fruit. Little over 20 years now he had spent in trying to make this and it was finally time to harvest the fruit. He felt a bit happy and a bit sad. Having gotten use to the routine of tending to it and watching the plant and fruit grow. Though like all things in life it had to end some time.
- He moved to pick the fruit gentle from the plant. And doing so he watch the plant quickly wither away. It hurt seeing the thing he tended to little over twelve years die before him, it also reminded him that his own mortal toil would too wither away in time.
- Looking at the fruit in his hand he wondered if any of this was worth it, worth the time put in, could he of done something else to better himself, if any of the effort would amount to anything or if perhaps he'd been chasing a pipe-dream all these years.
