  75. Marie Antoinette (Caster)
  76.
  77. --EX--
  78. Artoria (Caster)- Does she even need an explanation? She's mandatory for any efficient 90+ composition, provides comparable buff value to generic supports, and is the only source of Solemn Defense in the whole game. If you have her, you use her. No exceptions.
  79.
  80. Oberon- Hilariously broken farming servant. A single copy of him provides more steriods than any other support, period. Oberon is also the only servant with 70% NP charge, making him far and away the most powerful generic support in the game. He even has a damaging NP that can either provide utility in CQs or another source of wave clear for 90+.
  81.
  82. --S--
  83. Chen Gong- A 2* that can cycle through your supports to either ramp up his own damage (if grailed) or your damage-dealer's. An exceptional unit for 90+ and CQs regardless of your investment level.
  84.
  85. Koyanskaya- Koya revolutionizes farming, especially for buster servants, through the cooldown reduction on her first skill. With double Koyanskaya, any servant having 6 CD or lower skills can use them twice in the same burst window. With her help, nearly any servant can NP 3 times in a row. An excellent choice for CQs to either push damage against Man enemies, or in 90+ against any enemy composition.
  86.
  87. Merlin- Despite the plethora of supports that have poured into the game over the past 4 years, Merlin remains a top choice for CQs. Garden of Avalon is easy to stack and has synergy with supports that can protect against card damage, such as Caster Artoria and Jeanne d'Arc.
  88.
  89. Scathach-Skadi- Despite being the premier Quick support, the introduction of 90+ hit Quick teams hard. And in CQs, her ability to push damage in a Quick team faces stiff competition from what Caster Artoria and Tamamo can do for Arts teams. Make no mistake, Skadi is still an excellent support, just a cut below the very top.
  90.
  91. Sima Yi (Reines)- Thanks to her buff, Reines is now on par with most of the support SSRs. She'll outdo Waver at equivalent NP levels for boosting damage, while also providing utility that the latter lacks. While Waver's spread of NP charges is sometimes more desirable for 90+, Reines is strictly better outside of that.
  92.
  93. Zhuge Liang (Lord El-Melloi II)- Everyone's overworked support Caster can finally retire from being among the top servants in the game. Waver's key advantage these days is being a guaranteed pick for new players. Being a free 50% NP charge servant with competent steroids means he likely won't ever drop below S.
  94.
  95. --A--
  96. Asclepius- A budget support that packs NP charge, debuff protection, and potent healing. He stands out for offering utility that other low rarity servants do not.
  97.
  98. Ashiya Douman- Packing an enormous set of steroids for Chaotic Evil servants, Douman best stands out as a damage booster in CQs, especially when paired with Moriarty. With Mana Loading he is also a good choice for 90+ thanks to his 80% NP charge.
  99.
  100. BB (Summer)- Instead of increasing damage, Summer BB amps up your damage dealer's loop consistency. Pairs best with ST servants that don't have issues clearing bars with just two supports.
  101.
  102. Calamity Jane- Jane is a potent support with one caveat--you can consistently fill the board with crit stars. This is fairly trivial when used in tandem with other servants, but makes her a tricky pick for turn 1 ampage. Much like Chiron she can be a competent damage dealer with investment also.
  103.
  104. Carmilla (Rider)- A well-rounded support providing decent roids, a starbomb, a even a delayed NP charge. While she has a damaging NP, all her value comes from skills.
  105.
  106. Chiron- Another generalist servant that can also flex into a damage-dealer with some investment. Among the best SR supports in the game if you need to push damage.
  107.
  108. Georgios- One of the most popular taunt supports. His Bond CE makes him fantastic fodder at Lv 1 as well.
  109.
  110. Hans Christan Andersen- The primary advantage Hans has over the premium support options is his low team cost and extremely generic buffs. He works as a mainstay for budget teams alongside someone like Mash or Artoria Caster. In more expensive teams, his garbage stats make him easy to dispose of.
  111.
  112. Leonidas- Awesome yet underused taunt support. He boosts your damage, protects the team from attacks, and comes at a low cost.
  113.
  114. Mash Kyrielight- Mash will always find use as a filler slot for any team, thanks to her 0 cost and boost to bond points. She even has two skillsets to choose from, based on what you need her to do. Amazing for newer players while also remaining useful as you gain more supports.
  115.
  116. Mata Hari- The next best option if you are lacking Chiron. Mata Hari is packed with steroids--60% Defense Down and 50% Crit Damage Up--alongside Charm, Attack Down, and Skill/NP Seal. For a 1* servant, this is a fairly loaded supporting kit.
  117.
  118. Medb- While Medb can dish out some pain to Male enemies, she is probably at her best nowadays as a support. She provides a substantial 30% NP charge to Male and, interestingly, Fairy servants. Combine that with her 70% total steroids and she can provide comparable utility to the more popular SSR supports in some situations. Don't overlook Medb if you need a guy taken down a peg. Or two.
  119.
  120. Miss Crane- Crane is a complex but niche servant. To use her optimally, you'll want to double stack her NP with an MLB Scope and her second skill. Having synergy with some of the top tier damage dealers--both AOE and ST--adds greatly to her appeal. Her effectiveness is completely dependent on team composition; with some planning (and pre-existing supports) Crane can be a potent pick for 90+ or CQs.
  121.
  122. Nero Claudius (Bride)- Nero Bride's value has diminished somewhat in Arts teams with the introduction of Caster Artoria. However, she remains a solid generic support that can also flex into a damage-dealer. Think SSR Chiron. She also offers a targetable 30% NP charge, and is the only servant to do so after Waver, Artoria, and Miyu.
  123.
  124. Nightingale (Santa)- With high neutral damage and one of the biggest agnostic damage buffs in the game, Nightingale Santa is one of the more well-rounded welfare servants. She is also notable for being the only free source of buff removal resistance.
  125.
  126. Oda Nobukatsu- Nobukatsu is a 1* that packs a lot of utility, in a similar vein to Mata Hari. He also has two ways to remove himself from the board, either through his garbage stats or his NP sacrificing himself. Last, but most certainly not least, his buff value becomes hilariously broken if he is supporting a Nobunaga ally.
  127.
  128. Paracelsus von Hohenheim- Even with Arts titans like Tamamo and Caster Artoria in the picture, Paracelsus remains a solid choice for 90+. With Mana Loading append, he does not need any external NP charge (supports or CEs) to reach 100% NP charge on the first turn. He can also amp up refund for an Arts looper such as Ishtar or Muramasa.
  129.
  130. Prince of Lanling- Support servants in non-Caster classes are rare, but the Prince of Lanling makes a fantastic showing for the concept. He is one of the better Arts-flavored damage amps, and makes a good agnostic support thanks to how generic his kit is. He's fairly survivable, and his kit synergizes with other generic supports like Waver, Mash, Merlin, and many others.
  131.
  132. Sherlock Holmes- Sherlock lets your Arts damage dealer ignore gimmicks. Post-interlude, his steroids are also substantial, boosting your refund *and* your carnage for three turns. A solid support option for CQs especially if Mana Loading is in play.
  133.
  134. Tamamo-no-Mae- Tamamo remains an excellent Arts support even after the release of Caster Artoria. Arts CQ compositions that struggled with damage before with double Waver / Reines now have much better loopage and damage, giving Tamamo even more value than previously. Her NP can provide additional battery and cooldown reduction too, though this doesn't come into play very often.
  135.
  136. Wu Zetian- Similar to Chiron, Wu has can flex into either a DPS or support role. While Alexander gives her some competition, she is still a solid Quick support overall.
  137.
  138. --B--
  139. Alexander the Great- Criminally underused Quick support. He trades Wu's sheer ampage (1.68 vs 1.4) for some much-needed utility. His Charm hits Humanoid (literally every servant except Summer BB) with a 100% base hitrate and removes buffs. With a taunt CE he's good to go. While he is a Rider, the star flooding most Quick teams are capable of makes his star weight issue much less pronounced.
  140.
  141. Bartholomew Roberts- Black Bart functions as both a budget crit support and a bronze farmer. He's very straightforward; use him when you need crits right away, are not using Arts, or missing Chiron.
  142.
  143. Bedivere- Post-strengthen, Bedivere can join the growing "Budget Support and DPS" Club. He's at his best in 90+ thanks to his Tactics upgrade.
  144.
  145. Ganesha- Sporting one of the best Charismas in the game and a taunt on short CD, Jinako is very durable and provides good team support. She'll be at her best supporting a point servant like BB or Qin Shi Huang on a stall team.
  146.
  147. Gilgamesh (Caster)- Gil is a strong if gimmicky offensive Arts support. He provides a good damage amp, and his NP in conjunction with King's Return makes a metric ton of stars. He's best used with Poster Girl to superbuff a DPS like Hokusai who has high hitcounts on their Arts cards. On a regular team, however, he can make someone like Tamamo a reliable star generator and allow other CEs to be used in place of 2030.
  148.
  149. Helena Blavatsky- Helena sets the baseline for an "average" supporting character. Servants above her are legitimately good, while servants below are lacking in some way. At a minimum, she brings NP charge, some steroids, and crit enabling. With her interlude and Mahatma buff, she's also a competent 90+ option.
  150.
  151. James Moriarty- Post-Strengthen, Moriarty can fund the demerit of his second skill, making him a decent damage amp for any servant. Honorable mention for also working well with Douman in terms of raw steroids. As a damage dealer, he can also power through gimmicks--though his output leaves something to be desired.
  152.
  153. Jeanne d'Arc- Despite being heavily powercrept by Caster Artoria, Jeanne d'Arc retains the advantage of not being a premium support. If you are not running up against Pierce Invulnerability, she is functionally no different from the former in a zombie team.
  154.
  155. Lakshmibai- Unlike Lanling, Lakshmi is more oriented towards boosting your carry's survivability instead of their damage. A serviceable option if you're not using Arts.
  156.
  157. Miyu Edelfelt- Our prayers have been answered. In the middle of writing this draft, Miyu got a massive buff to her NP--removing its demerit and adding some extra numbers. This puts her right on the baseline, alongside servants like Helena. Reminder that she's one of the few non-SSR supports with a targetable battery bigger than 20%.
  158.
  159. Nightingale- Against enemies that remove buffs before NP, Night is one of your few lines of defense. She also works well as a support due to having debuff clear, debuff immune, and a Buster buff that is active more turns than not. She's no Merlin, but she's an solid support in her own right.
  160.
  161. Thomas Edison- One of the few servants that can give other servants a 500% overcharge; the alternative is using CEs. Crazy good as a support in a zombie team with Caster Artoria and Tamamo, thanks to Concept Improvement and Wizard of Menlo Park.
  162.
  163. Tristan- Before Skadi's introduction, Tristan was borderline necessary as a support for Quick teams. Post-Skadi he hasn't changed much; he still provides the hard survivability and consistency that Quick teams need. However, as a DPS he's just "alright" similar to Chiron. Still very useful Poster Girl fodder in general at least.
  164.
  165. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart- Staple budget Arts support. His massive starburst gives him some special synergy with Calamity Jane too.
  166.
  167. --C--
  168. Avicebron- This guy is probably more useful than George if the latter isn't Bond 10 yet. However, Avicebron needs Poster Girl to work, and he isn't able to protect the team for as long.
  169.
  170. Chevalier d'Eon- d’Eon is a niche tank whose saving grace is the coveted 3 turn duration on their taunt. Unlike George, unfortunately, d’Eon doesn’t have much else to offer besides better base stats and a less selfish star weight.
  171.
  172. David- Often overlooked in favor of his fellow Archer freaks Euryale and Robin Hood, David trades muscle for utility. There are very few sources of AOE protection, with the most popular option being a 5* limited servant. He will serve you well with a taunt CE, as usual.
  173.
  174. Martha- Martha packs two valuable forms of defensive utility: debuff clear and buff removal. Riders generally make poor support classes, however, and Martha is no exception. Either Plugsuit or Poster Girl her once you’re done.
  175.
  176. Osakabehime- It's impressive how both strengthens basically did nothing for her. No Quick or Buster team is even going to look in her direction with the likes of Skadi, Koyanskaya, Oberon, Merlin, and Nightingale in the game. Not for CQ let alone 90+. Poor girl.
  177.
  178. Paris- Targeted buff removal is a rare utility, and it's nice to have on a bronze servant. As a damage dealer, he can also NP marked enemies for decent damage, though that won't come into play often.
  179.
  180. --D--
  181. Jason- When Jason isn't supporting an Argonaut, all that's really here is a charisma, a hit of dodge, and debuff clear. Atalante also has many other support options she'd rather go with before Jason--as do all the other Argonauts, for that matter.
  182.
  183. Medea (Lily)- Medea Lily is an excellent healer...but all she does is heal.
  184.
  185. Stheno- Stheno being the worst SR is a dead meme. Her base stats are good, her cards are good, and her skills are even great; her NP was always the weak link. Fortunately, buff removal gives her utility against non-Male enemies. Her overall usefulness is still dependent on your team however.
  186.
  187. William Shakespeare- He just packs an NP battery and a damage boost. However, that isn't enough to compete with what all the other Buster supports have now.
  188.
  189. --E--
  190. Boudica- She offers a passable mix of stability and damage-boosting post-Strengthen. If she were any other class, Boudica would be much better.
  191.
  192. Gilles de Rais (Caster)- His skill 2 strengthen gives him some use as a support. This in tandem with his terror debuff means he isn't completely unusable. Wow.
  193.
  194. Irisviel (Dress of Heaven)- Irisviel is awful compared to all the supports zombie teams have access to. Guts NP used to be nice when your options were more limited. However, even at the budget level Asclepius now does everything she already did and more.
  195.
  196. Marie Antoinette (Caster)- Outdated generic support character. Her damage sucks, her skills suck, everything she does sucks. Probably the most forgettable SR in FGO.
