  5. Isra:
  6. Dicks Enough
  7.
  8. Dix Neuf:
  9. There are -never- enough dix
  10.
  11. Dix Neuf:
  12. All right so when are we gonna drag that Arlong bitch
  13.
  14. Magnemic:
  15. Oh fine guess I'll have to do your job *ahem*
  16. Thrice:
  17. So, my children. It's been a couple of days since Epsilon was brutally murdered by villains masquerading as 'player characters', and you've just heard wind of a small-scale(about three people) prison break. Reports indicate that one of the escaped inmates could only be described as 'incapably purple'
  18. Thrice:
  19. nigga you just gotta WAIT
  20.
  21. Magnemic:
  22. ya'll should really put on notifications
  23. Thrice:
  24. as should you
  25. Thrice:
  26. on skype
  27.
  28. Magnemic:
  29. you mean I disabled typing notifications on skype?
  30. Isra: (( So I assume I'm at full health then since it's been a while ))
  31.
  32. Isra:
  33. Set it to heal 100%
  34. Thrice:
  35. However, this prison break was, apparently, orchestrated by some other party. Because it's less that they broke out of prison, and more than they were STOLEN from prison.
  36. Thrice:
  37. and yeah you're good
  38.
  39. Isra:
  40. Doesn't heal 100%
  41.
  42. Magnemic:
  43. remove injury
  44. Thrice:
  45. Injuries lower your max HP
  46. Thrice:
  47. use the Recover Fully macro and set injuries to 0 when it asks
  48. Thrice:
  49. Also reset your combat stages.
  50. Thrice:
  51. As I don't know if the macro goes.
  52.
  53. Isra:
  54. Healed up! Recovered 8 HP.
  55. Thrice:
  56. Also uh
  57. Thrice:
  58. did you guys ever level up (waiting)
  59.
  60. Magnemic:
  61. You mean our trainers? no
  62. Thrice:
  63. You're supposed to be level 12 now
  64.
  65. Magnemic:
  66. nope def not
  67. Thrice:
  68. 12 is an edge level
  69. Thrice:
  70. and also the last big level
  71. Thrice:
  72. As you get one regular edge that you can use for anything, and one edge that you have to use for skills and that can';t up anything to Master
  73. Thrice:
  74. also you can up things to Master now with the regular edge
  75. Thrice:
  76. and p should since most capstones require it
  77. Thrice:
  78. TGhe secondary Edge will probably just be spent on ranking something up to Expert
  79. Thrice:
  80. or maybe Skill Enhancement or some shit
  81.
  82. Magnemic:
  83. Well only one I -can- move up to master is combat, so may as well do that
  84. Thrice:
  85. probably
  86. Thrice:
  87. tho I dunno where all ur edges went
  88. Thrice:
  89. u should have...13, 3 of which can only be spent on skills
  90.
  91. Isra:
  92. I forgot to add my other edges from level 10, so I'm doing Basic Skills and Elemental Connection
  93. Thrice:
  94. Isra would have 15 due to picking edges at level 10
  95.
  96. Dix Neuf:
  97. all right done
  98.
  99. Dix Neuf:
  100. and am I missing edges or something
  101. Thrice:
  102. no u just forgot that you have expert intimidate
  103. Thrice:
  104. I'd suggest making Combat your Master anyway
  105. Thrice:
  106. second weapon move and all
  107. Thrice:
  108. but you can choose to rank up a different skill to Expert now
  109. Thrice:
  110. or to Novice or w/e
  111.
  112. Dix Neuf:
  113. Guess I'll have expert perception too
  114.
  115. Isra:
  116. So is there a limit to how many moves a -TRAINER- can know?
  117. Thrice:
  118. no
  119.
  120. Dix Neuf:
  121. what's a second weapon move now
  122.
  123. Dix Neuf:
  124. Is it a limit to how many moves you can have that are tagged 0 ?
  125.
  126. Dix Neuf:
  127. *(Weapon)
  128. Thrice:
  129. Technically no, but you only get 1 of each category of weapon move
  130. Thrice:
  131. per weapon
  132.
  133. Isra:
  134. Sweeeeeeet, at will burst that can't miss o3o
  135.
  136. Isra:
  137. I like this.
  138. Thrice:
  139. the weapon tag on Berserker's stuff just means the featws involve weapons
  140. Thrice:
  141. Also you don't get a FEATURE at this level (wary)
  142. Thrice:
  143. You just get edges
  144. Thrice:
  145. 1 edge at(most, not this one) even levels, 1 feature at odd levels
  146.
  147. Isra:
  148. orite
  149. Thrice:
  150. as in you get 2 edges at this level not 1
  151. Thrice:
  152. b/c level 12
  153.
  154. Isra:
  155. There's so much shit that sounds all the exact fucking same
  156.
  157. Isra:
  158. Edges, feats, herps, derps
  159.
  160. Isra:
  161. Do I have to wait till a Feat level to get a class tho?
  162. Thrice:
  163. Classes are just feats, s oyeah
  164. Thrice:
  165. like, the Telekinetic class is actually just a FEat named Telekinetic
  166. Thrice:
  167. that is a prerequisite for other Feats in the Telekinetic 'class'
  168.
  169. Isra:
  170. o
  171.
  172. Isra:
  173. Well that's stupid
  174.
  175. Isra:
  176. Edges suck
  177. Emergency has connected.
  178.
  179. Dix Neuf:
  180. Edges were good for Sakamoto
  181.
  182. Dix Neuf:
  183. not very useful for Dix thol...
  184. Thrice:
  185. You have Demoralize and Bad Mood
  186. Thrice:
  187. those are p gud
  188.
  189. Isra:
  190. Ehhhhhhhhh
  191.
  192. Isra:
  193. w/e, good to go now I guess
  194. Thrice:
  195. Expert Manipulator is great, as is Flustering Charisma
  196. Emergency:
  197. Nothin' happened yet?
  198. Thrice:
  199. they serve to make the Prov class even MORE ungodly broken
  200. Thrice:
  201. they had to levle up
  202.
  203. Dix Neuf:
  204. Just a little hecticness over levels
  205. Emergency:
  206. Sweet, guess I didn't miss anything
  207. Emergency:
  208. Let the show begin
  209.
  210. Magnemic:
  211. So anyway, "Good news, assistants! It seems some 3rd party has done our job for us. From reports, I've tracked down just where my last assistant was located; It seems he's already broken out of where he was formerly confined. I'd still hold utmost caution though; I've yet to find out if this party is hostile to our intentions or not."
  212. Isra: (( Where are we at ))
  213. Thrice:
  214. Still at the base for now
  215.
  216. Sakamoto:
  217. "I don't know why I'm using my microphone system from a few feet away either. *hic*"
  218. Isra: (( That's why I was asking. ))
  219.
  220. Isra:
  221. "Soooo, what you're saying is..is that somebody broke Mr. Grumpy out of jaily already~?"
  222. Thrice:
  223. Anyway, the police(of course) cannot locate the stolen inmates. They know little about the incident except the inmates involved: said useless purple thing, the daughter of a famous scientist, and the pupil of a widely-feared exile from Iornia.
  224.
  225. Sakamoto:
  226. "Yes, yes, that is exactly what I am saying. Normally this seems like a safe cause, but I'll still send you guys out to rendevous with him while I stay here and make more repairs. It shouldn't be too hard."
  227.
  228. Isra:
  229. "Dunno why someone would wanna break someone so useless out of jail besides us though~..."
  230.
  231. Sakamoto:
  232. 14 do I know this scientist
  233.
  234. Rayner:
  235. You do
  236. Isra: (( BECAUSE HE'S YOU. ))
  237.
  238. Sakamoto:
  239. vat a tweest
  240.
  241. Sakamoto:
  242. I am the father
  243.
  244. Rayner:
  245. Her name's Yasmin, and she's pretty famous for her experiments involving Pokemon strengthening
  246.
  247. Sakamoto:
  248. Next session is just on the maury show
  249.
  250. Isra:
  251. Isra hops off the desk to her feet, "Well in that case, we should probably be going then~!"
  252. Thrice:
  253. Her procedures might have been called inhumane, but fuck it, who cares about Pokemon anyway
  254. Thrice:
  255. Also I have to go make sure my roommate don't get robbed in a few minutes (waiting)
  256.
  257. Sakamoto:
  258. "Along with the man who fits our description, he may be assisted by an infamous Iornian exile and the daughter of who I believe to be another scientist; you may or may not have heard of her, but her bloodline may be of use to us, depending on the situation. You can try and take her along too."
  259.
  260. Dix Neuf:
  261. "Yeah yeah, whatever gramps, just leave the ass whooping to me and I'll squeeze out as much fun as I can."
  262.
  263. Rayner:
  264. "Hmm...as you said, we don't truly know whether the orchestrators of this prison break are on our side. Is it safe to rush in? For that matter, do we know where to rush?"
  265.
  266. Sakamoto:
  267. "The situation is far too random to formulate a precise plan like that. I'd stay away from large groups though; Try and single out a single patron at a time."
  268.
  269. Sakamoto:
  270. "If that can't be done, then sure, rush in if you must."
  271.
  272. Rayner:
  273. "Then we'll have to hope they're being kept in separate locations...as difficult as that would make finding them."
  274.
  275. Rayner:
  276. "Any ideas about where we should check first? Or would you like a suggestion?"
  277.
  278. Sakamoto:
  279. "Of course, the reports said they couldn't precisely locate the stolen inmates..."
  280.
  281. Sakamoto:
  282. Actually, is there any plot reason I have so I can locate where those three might be
  283. Isra: (( Rayner's gonna show u up son ))
  284.
  285. Isra:
  286. "Looks like the new guy's got an idea to show you up, Mr. Moto~"\
  287.
  288. Sakamoto:
  289. "I abandoned the concept of pride ages ago, sometime after I became a small cat. So I'd like to hear his suggestion first."
  290. Rayner: (( Couple ways to go about it. You can hear Rayner's suggestion, you can roll a Tech Education check to have retroactively put a tracker chip in all your employees, you could go to the prison and try to check for traces that incompetent cops may have missed ))
  291.
  292. Sakamoto:
  293. Hearing out Rayner sounds the simplest
  294. Isra: (( I wouldn't let you put a tracker chip in me, fuck that shit (D) ))
  295.
  296. Rayner:
  297. "You mentioned a scientist whose child was involved in this, correct? I vote we ask them. You must have connections to them, and if not, it shouldn't be too difficult to locate them. They've probably been tracking this incident longer than we have, since they have a higher stake in it."
  298.
  299. Rayner:
  300. But for now I must the AFK
  301. Agi has connected.
  302.
  303. Sakamoto:
  304. "Hmm...I am not sure how effective that would be, but I can try. Would certainly be a lot quicker than just scouting the place."
  305.
  306. Dix Neuf:
  307. "Boy would it! I ain't travelling to the ends of the continent just to meet up with some jokers!"
  308.
  309. Sakamoto:
  310. "Well, the problem is I haven't been in much contact with this individual myself..." actually let me just check my damn phonebook
  311.
  312. Isra:
  313. SOOO. . .WE AVAILABLE TO PLAY TOMORROW?
  314.
  315. Sakamoto:
  316. idk i know i am
  317.
  318. Sakamoto:
  319. i always am i am eternal
  320.
  321. Isra:
  322. Shit, I'm not. It's my boss' going away party.
  323.
  324. Isra:
  325. I'm good to play. . .Thursday?
  326.
  327. Isra:
  328. And possibly Friday and/or Saturday
  329.
  330. Sakamoto:
  331. like i said, i am eternal
  332.
  333. Isra:
  334. Cause this really isn't goin anywhere right nao
  335.
  336. Isra:
  337. Cat,
  338.
  339. Sakamoto:
  340. im just waiting for thrc
  341.
  342. Rayner:
  343. I had to make sure no one killed
  344.
  345. Rayner:
  346. or got killed
  347.
  348. Rayner:
  349. But I am back now
  350.
  351. Sakamoto:
  352. ok so what's the deets
  353.
  354. Rayner:
  355. If you'd rather wait until some other time we can do that
  356.
  357. Isra:
  358. Well, I'm just saying cause we started kinda late
  359.
  360. Isra:
  361. And I have to be off in like..four hours to shower/leave for work
  362.
  363. Isra:
  364. It might be easier
  365.
  366. Sakamoto:
  367. AW
  368.
  369. Sakamoto:
  370. *aw
  371.
  372. Rayner:
  373. That's oka yby me
  374.
  375. Sakamoto:
  376. can I at least know if I have a phonebook
  377.
  378. Rayner:
  379. Nto sure when I'll next be able to play tho
  380.
  381. Rayner:
  382. You do
  383.
  384. Sakamoto:
  385. Goodie, then we can get this over w/
  386.
  387. Rayner:
  388. Not sure if I have to work Thursday or Friday
  389.
  390. Rayner:
  391. I know I open Saturday
  392.
  393. Rayner:
  394. get what over with
  395.
  396. Sakamoto:
  397. Calling the scientist
  398.
  399. Rayner:
  400. o well shit u probably shoulda said that
  401.
  402. Sakamoto:
  403. But first I shall see where she is located
  404. Thrice:
  405. 7634 Gradius Avenue
  406.
  407. Sakamoto:
  408. but I assume that shouldn't matter much, so I guess I'll give her a quick call
  409.
  410. Secretary:
  411. Naturally, you get the worst possible Secretary token seriously who the fuck made this and not the woman herself, "Argon Industries, how may I help you? Please keep in mind that Ms. Yasmin is currently preoccupied, and will only speak to those who have information on the whereabouts of her daughter. She is, naturally, distraught over the recent ordeals."
  412.
  413. Sakamoto:
  414. "What a coincidence, that is exactly what I'm calling about. My name is Dr. Sakamoto, not quite a household name, but one whose interests currently overlap heavily with Ms. Yasmin's. In fact, I was just about to scout out my area to find the, uh, whereabouts of her daughter. Along with a few others, but I assume she doesn't care."
  415.
  416. Sakamoto:
  417. "It would be in her best interests for her to assist me in this venture. I'm sure she has the capabilities I'm looking for."
  418.
  419. Dix Neuf:
  420. "*Yawn* Lots of sitting around to do here. But hey, at least the meals are free. Feels like a waste though....none of this energy has gone towards busting some skulls yet..."
  421.
  422. Isra:
  423. "You seem like you've got energy to spare~"
  424.
  425. Dix Neuf:
  426. "Just easily bored is all..."
  427.
  428. Secretary:
  429. "I see...Sakamoto? You sound...smaller than your profile would indicate...I'll hook you through to Ms. Yasmin."
  430.
  431. Sakamoto:
  432. *Endures cheap telephone waiting music that sounds like its been filtered through a monophone*
  433.
  434. Rayner:
  435. "Practice your brainpower, Dix. It can be used at any time, unlike brawn."
  436.
  437. Yasmin:
  438. "Ohoho? Who disturbs me in my torment? You had better have good news!"
  439.
  440. Isra:
  441. "So what sort of name is Dix Neuf anyway~? Seems pretty silly to me, teehee~"
  442.
  443. Sakamoto:
  444. "It's me, Dr. Ryoma Sakamoto. Is this a Ms. Yasmin I'm speaking to? Well, I'll cut to the chase; I've been currently scouting my region for a uh...group that involves your daughter. I have the means to retrieve them, but I'm sorely lacking in the intel department. I'd have figured you'd be a little further than me in that regard."
  445.
  446. Rayner:
  447. "If memory serves, it's a Kalosian name."
  448.
  449. Isra:
  450. "What a nice answer that wasn't from the person I asked, teehee~"
  451.
  452. Rayner:
  453. "Thank you for you consideration."
  454.
  455. Dix Neuf:
  456. "Well, it's not like it's my real name or anything...just a moniker I took up the moment I started street fighting for money. You know how tough it is out there..."
  457.
  458. Yasmin:
  459. "What?! You're foolish enough to--erm..Hm. Why are you interested in finding my daughter in the first place?"
  460.
  461. Dix Neuf:
  462. "As for what it means, uh...I'm not sure. My manager at the time gave me it, and it just kinda stuck. Think it's some kind of number."
  463.
  464. Sakamoto:
  465. "Because apparently she's buddied up with a group that includes one of my subordinates. And since I have a strict 'no minion left behind' policy, it's well within my moral code to retrieve them. But I wouldn't mind some extra help too."
  466.
  467. Yasmin:
  468. "I see. Well. Intelligence I will gladly give you, if it means getting Tatti out of there. So what is it you need to know? Solely where they are located?"
  469.
  470. Sakamoto:
  471. "It's all the information I need. But further details would be appreciated, if you wish for maximum efficiency."
  472.
  473. Yasmin:
  474. "Fine! It was simple to figure out where they went...the signs were obvious enough. I don't know WHY this crime was done, but I highly doubt it was for anything more than ransom. ...even if they have not contacted me yet." The scientits(sic) tells you where to find the stronghold, but adds in more info, "Now, other than my daughter, only two inmates were taken. The purple man must be yours, as the last is a berserking exile's pupil. He must have willingly gone along with them...there's no other way I can think of that he would be subdued. He is nearly as strong as his master, and much less controllable."
  475.
  476. Sakamoto:
  477. "Hmm, it looks like this situation is a little more complex than I had bargained for. But alas, it seems like I'm roped into it by honor at this point. No matter; I thank you for the information, and I will call you again once we get in touch with your daughter. Never expected them to be competent enough to take a stronghold...but that makes things easier for me."
  478.
  479. Sakamoto:
  480. The doctor turns to his pupils. "Oh uh, so yes, I have figured out where my assistant, among others, is located. They should be easily subdued though, so this won't take long."
  481.
  482. Sakamoto:
  483. (^liar)
  484.
  485. Yasmin:
  486. "Do remember not to allow any harm to be brought to my daughter."
  487.
  488. Sakamoto:
  489. "Do not worry. My assistants are strong, but they are most certainly not reckless. I have too high standards for that."
  490.
  491. Rayner:
  492. (^liar)
  493.
  494. Rayner:
  495. Rayner looks over his companions perplexedly, "Is that so?"
  496.
  497. Dix Neuf:
  498. "Well, at least he chose one winner out of the grab bag."
  499.
  500. Isra:
  501. "That's very sweet of you to say~"
  502.
  503. Sakamoto:
  504. "Now, it appears you're set to take on a stronghold located in (location) which shouldn't be too far from here. I'll keep a lookout through my Pokebot, but it should be much easier to tackle than if we were dealing with a straight up horde of prisoners."
  505.
  506. Rayner:
  507. "Come now, Dix. You and I will make a great team. I'll tell you who to hit, and you'll hit them!"
  508.
  509. Dix Neuf:
  510. "I know, I flatter myself too much. (❀◦‿◦)"
  511.
  512. Rayner:
  513. Rayny looks looks to Dix, then back to Sakamoto, "Is stealth an option?"
  514.
  515. Sakamoto:
  516. "Uh, I suppose so, but probably not necessary. I'll decide if the situation looks too dire. Which it shouldn't be."
