[23:44] She looked completely drained and most importantly, terrified. She couldn't stand this, and it ate at her like nothing else. She was silent for a while, but eventually she knelt there upon the floor next to the Wayfinder, releasing a heavy sigh as she said what was practically on everyone's mind,

"You're an idiot, Ethan."

[23:46] Ren Shi says, "I'll wait."
[23:46] Ethan remained on the ground, facing it up until Reito lowered herself to her knees before him - forcing his eyes to look up to her as the insult came forth. It was expected and deserved, leading to him offering the faintest of smiles while he slowly pushed himself back up to a seated position. It still hurt, but he could feasibly move.

"Yeah. I know."

[23:48] Ethan Hawke says, "It's kinda embarassing."
[23:48] Reito Shimasu says, "... I'm finishing my greatest work outside of cleansing Gaiar."
[23:48] Nepheira asks, "...more secrets?"
[23:48] Reito Shimasu says, "Stop being stupid, bring it out."
[23:48] Ren Shi says, "... I'm tired Reito, please just state it."
[23:49] Reito Shimasu says, "The weapon, Ren."
[23:49] Reito Shimasu says, "You were there."
[23:49] Ren Shi says, "Right, that."

[23:54] Isaac's gloved hand drifts to his cheek and he scratches it, exhaling out a sigh before speaking.

[23:54] Ren Shi whispers something.
[23:58] Ethan definitely had a way with making every single word much more worse than it was. He let out a soft sigh, concentrating for a bit before his right hand reached out towards the kitsune. A portal appeared from overhead, allowing a staff to fall into his grasp and before everyone's eyes.

Incredible.

This was what most people who'd stumble upon this object alone would think. A weapon that had been purified from the rieka coursing through it, topped by the core of Eidolon's star compltely cleansed of its influence - tortured souls drawn out of it and replaced with the feather of a phoenix, endlessly regenerating and feeding the pseudo-star an immense amount of power. There was a clear connection to the lifestream with this feather, almost completely hiding the influences of holy magic, Jiuweihu's presence, and raw fire further amplifying its strength. The lines upon which Rieka used to course were now filled with golden energy, flowing back and forth.

That alone would be an amazing craft, though there was more to it. On the foci itself were multiple glyphs keeping the feather stable and in place, not allowing the core of the star to draw from anything but it. Furthermore, a magical rune connecting the weapon to the spirit world directly had been drawn by the Wayfinder, flashing green at times and allowing the very core of the weapon to reach the lifestream even more easily.

A work of art.

... And then it came— He came.

Crashing into the ground from that same portal was a spirit. No taller than five feet of height, old, balding, not wearing a shirt and displaying his beer gut with chest hair that made it look like a bear. Of all the spirits they had ever seen, this one seemed the least warrior-like. What else would you expect from a bottle found in the snow being purified?

"What's wrong with you kid?! I— Oh... Hey, it'sReito." The spirit said, turning to the Kitsune, leaning against the air and slicking back his lack of hair after having licked his hand. Horrible.

".. Please calm down, Phil." Ethan said, looking towards Reito soon after. "We've made a deal. He's ready to make the staff his home."

Just what the hell was this all about and how long had they been working on that? Few knew. Few could understand.

[00:09] She glanced up, a pleading look on her features, plain as day when Isaac said what he did. But she'd deal with that later; for now... She had a weapon to masterfully finish. As the staff fell through the portal, she expected it, golden eyes taking in it's form. She remembered the day he had first shown it to her, and it was so corrupt and tainted she could barely handle being around it. It's transformation over the time that they had worked on it was nothing short of magical, really.

Then a spirit fell through too and the Kitsune's ears flicked back, clearly not in the mood for sudden surprises. The spirit greeted her by name and her eyes flicked to Ethan briefly until she understood. The spirit that would be within the staff itself. She inhaled deeply and sat up straighter.

She had to think on how precisely she was going to give the way for the spirit to call the staff it's new home. She looked towards Ethan,

"... My talent is on... Not quite this. I think, however that.... Maybe with the use of your Wayfinding, we can sort of um... Potentially teleport him into the staff?" She asked. It was wild. Probably her wildest idea yet, honestly, but it was the only idea she had after today.

[00:16] Ethan offered a small shrug at the suggestion, his lips parting before words were cut off from him, the most horrifying spirit in the world speaking instead.

"I wouldn't mind staying around for longer to get to know you, pretty thin—"

And a hand promptly shut him off. The Wayfinder decided not to debate the idea, instead nodding and allowing an array of magical circles to appear all in a row, six in total, spinning into reality. The guy had already been squeezed into a bottle for nearly a decade, there was no way a staff was going to be any more of a problem.

"Sorry, Phil, but you gotta go."

A bright flash of green light roared forth as the sub-commands written along the edges of the circles lit up, squeezing up the spirit into a much smaller state and teleporting him straight into the magnificent piece of art.

It was passed off to Reitoshortly after. The staff, that is.

".. We should finish this up before he realizes he can talk from within."

[00:24] She hadn't expected her idea to honestly work, but she was also thankful that Ethan prevented the spirit from flirting with her further, given that Isaac was literally right there and would get angry. Again. As the array of circles appeared and, simply put, teleported the spirit into the staff proper, the Priestess turned Regent took it from him now.

Placing it upon the floor, Reito held her hands aloft over the staff quietly, eyes squinting briefly. A runic circle appeared right over the staff; similar to the one Reito had already put on it, to ensure that the power of the star within would only be able to draw from the Phoenix feather. Now, she altered it, as well as adding a few more protective runes and enchantments.

One to ensure the star wouldn't harm the spirit they had placed within the staff proper. Another to ensure the spirit wouldn't be able to be corrupted by outside influences, and anotherto ensure they couldn't add more spirits to it. A reverse protection ward similar to doors and chests.

The runic circle she had channeled and called upon glowed a faint amber color, similar to the gem within her bracelet as she finished the procedure before everything faded away and dimmed.

She thought.... She was quite sure - the process was over. The staff was complete.

[00:29] Ethan quietly watched the second to last step being performed upon the staff in this trying moment. This was it, wasn't it? The last bit of effort they had to put in, the last push. After having received help from countless sources, the young man had finally attainted something that was its own work of art with Reito and Thera's help. Something that had been crafted in the most horrible of conditions, yet now had a whole new purpose.

There was one thing left.

".. What're you gonna name it?"

[00:33] Isaac Shimasu asks, "Any parting words, hmm...?"

[00:33] Ren Shi says, "Make it quick."

[00:36] She didn't like being on a time limit. It wasn't fair. A name... It had to be good. That weapon was a beacon of something. A beacon of them working hard together to make the world, ultimately, a better place. To take from evil and repurpose it for the good of Agartha.

An idea came.

"Rebirth," She said suddenly. "Much like a Phoenix that rises from the ashes.... S-So too has this staff, been reborn from it's original evil and vile birth to something more.... Positive on the world," She said. Her finger traced over it, lovingly. She had worked hard on it, and it was... Special to her. It'd always be special.

[00:38] Ethan offered a nod to the decision Reito came up with. It was a simple name, but quite unforgetable. He'd give her a few more seconds to stroke the weapon before he reached out for it, taking it within his grasp. A bright smile was offered to the Kitsune before he spoke his parting words.

"Thanks. I owe you one." He said, green lights surrounding him once more - taking away Ren Shi's opportunity to practice Wayfinding on someone else. The time spent here had done some work on his pain.

"I'll see myself out."

And unless stopped, he would, turned into pure energy.
