  1. MEGA MAN X IS SERIOUSLY MEGA, MAN!
  2.
  3. Up+B: Lightning Web - X shoots a small bundle of electricity upwards, which expands into a small spider web made of electricity after going a short distance. This web hovers in the air and will damage and stun enemies who touch it. X is connected to the bundle via a bolt of electricity. If you hold B until after the bundle turns into a web, the bolt pulls him upwards into it, and launches him through it, destroying the web. If you instead let go of B, X separates from the web, and it hangs in the air for a few seconds. Does not cause helplessness.
  4. Neutral B: Sonic Slicer - X fires an array of crescent blade projectiles. They pause for a moment, and then travel in two paths, one heading forward+down (mostly forward), and the other heading forward+up (mostly forward). They bounce off of surfaces, last for a long time, cause only minor knockback and damage, and are destroyed on contact with an enemy or attack (though they will stop the attack if it's a projectile).
  5. Side+B: Flash Laser - X goes still and shoots a robotic firefly from his buster. This travels slowly, but the player can manually change its direction with the analog stick, speed it up by holding B, or resume controlling Mega Man (and forfeit control of this attack; it will keep travelling in its current direction) by pressing jump or shield. The firefly leaves a short trail of light behind it that causes minor damage and flinches the enemy; this does not destroy the projectile. If the firefly itself hits the enemy, a breakable object, or an enemy projectile, it explodes into a large burst of light, which deals minor damage, but good knockback. Yes, this allows Mega Man to hover in place in the air, but it consumes his midair jump if he hasn't already spent it and resets his momentum.
  6. Down+B: Fire Wave - X shoots a small flame in an arc forward. When it hits the ground, it causes a series of flames to erupt from the ground, traveling forward. This works on any walkable surface, regardless of slope. This goes through enemies and causes moderate damage, and minor knockback. The initial flame flinches enemies and causes minor damage. The erupting flames can transfer to new platforms if they're touching the platform the flame is on currently, and only slightly above or below it (or perfectly level).
  7.
  8. Final Smash: Final Nova Strike - X turns purple and punches the ground (if on the ground), or poses like a saiyan charging their ki (if in the air), causing a set of five yellow lasers centered on his location to travel from the bottom of the screen to the top. Any enemies hit by this are moved to slightly above X, who then dons his ultimate armor, jumps up so he's on the same level as the affected enemy(s) but a few character widths away from them, coats himself in yellow energy, and dashes through the foe(s) hit by the lasers. This is very strong overall, causing lots of damage and knockback.
  9.
  10. X is an area-denial master with numerous projectiles that can be used in tandem in various ways to cause chaos, or funnel the enemy into kill zones for Flash Laser. Though it is beyond the scope of this document, X's normal A attack is his X-Buster, and it acts as it does in his home series. When using any special, X's buster arm turns the color that he turns in his home games when using that weapon, and it also changes its appearance to mimic the armor he gains in that game. His normals are mediocre at best (but lend themselves to flinging the enemy into X's projectiles), and he lacks killing power outside of Flash Laser and certain smash attacks. Also note that only one of each of his specials can exist at once; firing a second will destroy the first.
  11. And if it wasn't clear, X is using the charged Ray Arrow followed by the Nova Strike in his Final Smash, though the ground punch animation is based on the charged Tri-Thunder.
