Background:

Born in  Kaohsiung, Taiwan Chāojí was the result of an accidental pregnancy. After her mother gave birth to her, Her parents got married for her sake. Growing up Chāojí was always neglected by her mother, as for her father, he gave her lots of affection. Her parents never got along and would bicker 24/7. School for wasn't hard, as she great friends and she wasn't bothered. Other than the fact that she does get distracted. At the age of 10, her parents started to send to South Korea for the summer, since they thought it wasn't healthy for her to be in environment where her parent's are always fighting. She loved it there. She would get along with her cousins and her aunt was more of a mother figure to her than her mom. So it's traditional that she goes every summer.

At age 14 her parents finally filed for a divorce. The problem now is that her parents are fighting over who get's custody of her. It was stressful for her, as she'd get pressured on who she would want to be with. They'd have to go to counseling every week. In addition to that at school, she would have to talk to her guidance counselor since they thought she was affected by it. Honestly Chāojí couldn't care if her parents aren't going to be together, it was just the process which was affecting her. But thankfully her friends helped and her vacations to South Korea. As of now, her father has custody of her, but she does go to her mom's place on the weekends. And now that she has a summer job, who knows what'll await her.
