  1. Rules of the universe:
  2. One side is the Astral plane, a chaotic sea of magic/psionic forces that houses pockets of order housing the elementals, fey, devils, demons, and other outsiders.
  3. Other side of the material plane is the drift.

  5. Gods and spirits:
  6. Some objects have souls themselves. The bigger and older an object is the stronger the soul.
  7. Objects with souls can affect the world around them psionically. These are called spirits.
  8. Extremely powerful spirits are called gods and can usually interact with nearly the entire galaxy.
  9. They make pacts of service for domain expansion with outsiders.

  11. Planar interaction:
  12. Close connection to the Astral can cause rifts, natural magic areas either chaotic or outsider aligned.

  14. Humans and derivatives:
  15. Humans come from earth, a psionic null zone.
  16. Taken by Witchwyrds and made into a large variety of humanoids for unknown reasons. Revolution succeeded and formed Aballon station.

  18. Factions:
  19. Draconic Empire -
  20. Race based hierarchy. Heavy gene modding to allow for this. Emperor believed to be divine.
  21. Emperor > Stellar Dragons > Space Dragons > Normal Dragons > Dragonkin > Vesk > Kobolds (IKESHTI)
  22. Reptoids under dragons as spies and secret police.
  23. Skittermander 'slaves'. Only Xenos in empire so far.
  24. Infighting common between dragons.
  25. Magic dependent.
  26. Kobold cannon fodder, Vesk soliders, Dragonkin heavy infantry,
  27. Space and Stellar dragons are ships. Have Hybrid ships.

  29. The Swarm -
  30. All biotech and magic.
  31. Normal swarm troops, formians, shiren. Some mutants break away from hive mind and make it to pact worlds.
  32. Insectoid creatures of various types as vehihcles, starships, ect.
  33. Grafted and living weapons.

  35. The Corpse Fleet -
  36. Undead. Set up in a nebula. Raid for bodies to increase their forces.

  38. The Volgari - Psionic manifestations of a old god style entity. Manipulates ethanol to create and work ships. Basically the Orz.

  40. The Pact Confederacy-
  41. Started as an alliance that grew as more members joined. Many factions that sometimes fight each other.

  43. Aballon station - 'Home' of the humanoids. Has few colonies. Massive trade after being expanded from research station. Built by the humanoids and acts as the capital of the Confederacy.
  44. Kasathan Fleets - Migratory fleet based. Have gargantuan city ships. Have Kasatha, Shobhad, Witchwyrds. Honor bound warriors.
  45. Lashunta Republic - Leshunta homeworld in system with Sun god core. Started Confederacy with Aballonians.
  46. Various Knights/Paladins - Hell knights, ect. Most have massive capital ships as their base of operations/headquarters. Usually at odds with the pirates.
  47. Megacorps (Including Witchwyrds that made the humanoids)
  48. Xenowardens - Plant based techs.
  49. Pirate Lords - Various factions of privateers and pirates that follow various codes under the command of admirals called Lords.
  50. Eox - Undead
  51. Triunites - True AI/Robots. Have a soul. Live on the artificial planet that is the core of Triune. Interconnected but individuals. Only AI with souls due to being created by Triune.
  52. Starfinder Association - A company based around collecting and hiring freelancers for the purpose of fulfilling jobs. Fund exploration of unknown space.
