Character Planners/Armor Planner, I reccomend using all three when making builds, gamehubbs for it's working GUI, mugenmonkey or the google doc depending on if you have cookies enabled for each of them can find optimized stats for builds.

Armor Planner, the armor planner is an amazing piece of work that has helped me out constantly. It's very easy to use but just in case heres a little guide. When you open it up make sure you put a 1 in the weight catagory for each type of defense if you want it's defence counted and a 0 if you dont want it counted. When optimizing for weight it doesn't recognize decimals when you input information so if your can carry 16.7 lbs before a certain weight percentage put a 17 instead.

Fixing pirate saves for steam:
>I found a way to restore my pc pirated saves, if anyone care this is what you need to do:
>Make a clean new game
>Quit to main menu after resting a the bonfire outside the keepers
>Don't close the game at all, alt+tab to copy and replace the current save with your old save
>Try to continue the char you just created, it will give you a load error, go back to main menu
>Create a new game again and after you rest at the bonfire outside of keepers, quit to main menu and select continue
>Now you can load your old chars

To modify your SM with CE:
>Add adress 125963C0 as a 4byte pointer
>Now you can modify your SM value

To change your character name with CE:
>Set scan value type to string
>Put your name on "value"
>Scan
>Modify the adresses to the name you want

How to change your character name (PC)
Open CE, select darksouls2.exe, change 4 byte to string, un check case sensitive and check unicode. Type in your characters name and click first scan; select all addresses with your character name and rename to whatever. Max 32 char. This may change the name of you other save file names.
