  1. Welp another series done, and this one's pretty steller. It's pretty clear for this batch Hobby Japan wanted more 'creative' books along with just 'better' books in general to encourage others to buy them. It's pretty clear when no one's effectiveness score even drops under 200, more less everyone (outside of one case) has some pretty interesting and game changing gimmics to make use of.
  2.
  3. Note: All of this is mostly thery crafting, and test battles to ensure the results and numbers gathered added up in live play. While not everything is set into stone, there is enough supporting data for these choices.
  4.
  5. Score effectiveness: This a number of every attack one can pull off, and within those attacks, every result possable that would lead towards a 'non score page' being drawn up. Higher is better. Score pages are any pages listed on the player.
  6.
  7. Precent effectiveness: This is the Score effectiveness, devided by the maxamum results possable (based off of how many attacks they have in general) to come towards an average result of when attacking, that an attack will be anything but a 'score page'.
  8.
  9. Total Damage: A caculation of all the 'Score' pages ( and on them any BP +'s and -'s outside of the score itself ) to reach a total. Higher is worse as it means there are more higher results of taking damage, then there are not taking damage.
  10.
  11. Ranks:
  12. S = Pretty much OP as fuck. If picked, you will chances are win with them easly. Find a single attack, spam it and watch the XP roll in.
  13. A = They have some flaws, but overall they are very good. Takes a bit of knowlage to use fully, but not much.
  14. B = These are kinda the 'average' crew. They aren't the best, but can be rather effective with smart playing. Expect some battles to be a challange.
  15. C = Starting to have more flaws then bonuses at this rate. They have at least SOMETHING to make them useful, but pulling it off is chances are very hard, or just a tad struggling. Expect to lose some matches with these.
  16. D = Really ending up bad now. Very little redeeming quality towards them, picking these and winning is a CHALLANGE in and of itself. Not to say it can't be done, but expect to lose more often then ever win.
  17. F = WHY WAS THIS BOOK MADE?! WHO THE HELL GAVE CLEARANCE FOR THIS? I FEEL SORRY FOR WHOEVER BOUGHT THIS THING!!!
  18.
  19.
  20. Score:
  21. C = Critical (always +4 of value unless stated otherwise. As such 4C would mean score of 4, and crit of 8, as 4C7 means score of 4, yet crit of 7.)
  22. OB = Off Balanced
  23. TA = Turned Around
  24. KD = Knocked Down

  31. Notes: Well Rebellion wastes NO time into presenting us our hero and showing us just how much better she does then say Blade's Leina! With an effectiveness to Match Melona's, able to gain a height advantage over (almost) all of the cast, AND she takes 'OK' damage comapred to others, and she's quite a powerhouse for sure. Her main ordeal is her 'Mounted' status, giving her MANY powerful options, each with INSANE effectiveness numbers ( her lowest attack mounted is 14, and that's GUARDING ). If she was to have any real flaws, it would be getting hit when not guarding means she becomes dismounted, and she does have a smaller BP pool then most others. Regardless it's hard to deny her being EXTREAMLY good, and as such a perfect way to show the difference between Blade books, and Rebellion.
  32. Overall Rank: A
  33.
  34. Eilin & Ymir 349 (Missing 1 attack-552) 63% Height: 3 BP: 11
  35. Dazed: 5C Leg: 3C OB: 0 TA: 0 Weapon: -4 Arm: 2C EX Body: 3C KD: 0C Parry: -4 Body: 3C
  36. Total Damage: 8
  37. Notes: WOW. Just, WOW. Ymir in Blade was pretty much the worse book ever invented, but here? Add in a second gal to assist and they become one of the BEST books in Rebellion! With one of the HIGHEST Attack effectiveness precents, rather low score pages in general, AND a TON of good MOD's (everything is +1 or better to make up for the height difference), and suddently this duo's going to be taking heads. Many, MANY heads. Like, really, Ymir pretty much became a top player with this book hands down. If she has ANY flaws, it's the loss of BP overall, but 11's only a single point off the average, so it's not THAT big of a negative. Their main gimmic is making use of their 'slime' and the 'boost armor' to get in POWERFUL blows.
  38. Overall Rank: S

  40. Laila 349 61% Height:4 BP:20
  41. Dazed: 8C Leg: 2C OB: 0 TA: 0 Weapon: -4 Arm: 1C EX Body: 3C KD: 0C Parry: -4 Awakened Wound: 2C Body: 3C
  42. Total Damage: 11
  43. Notes: Our second Holy Milk Angle arrives, and man is she a doozy! Having the HIGHEST BP out of the cast, and rather low score pages in general, Laila makes Nanae wish she had given up flight for all these goodies. For starters, she gets a heal, a 3BP heal at that. Then her effectiveness is really only outshined by 2 others, while also having attacks for any situations. Add onto this that her Holy Milk Cannon can cause our opponent to lose BP on EVERY blue attack they make ( score or not ) and really it's pretty obvous on why she's so good. My only gripe is that those wings are just for show, she never really 'flys', but if she did, she might be TOO good.

  46. Luna Luna 343 (Missing 1 Attack-552) 62% Height: 4 BP: 10

  48. Total Damage: 13
  49. Notes: First of all, F.S. chicks seem to take it up the ass hard. Now with that out of the way, Luna Luna is your standered Rebellion book at this point. High effectiveness, sub par damage minigation, and has some sort of 'gimmic' in her attacks to trip up her opponet. Really, she's rater good, if just a tad 'basic' for Rebellion. Her only real flaw is her small BP pool with her taking damage like she's got nothing on (because she really does have nothing on!), so she can end up getting KO'ed rather fast on some bad picks.

  52. Izumi 338 (Missing 1 attack-552) 61% Height:4 BP:16
  53. Dazed: 8C Leg: 3C OB: 0 TA: 0 Weapon: -3 Arm: 3C EX Body: 5C KD: 0C Parry: -4 EX Leg: 3C Body: 5C
  54. Total Damage: 20
  55. Notes: This sword chick is acually pretty dang good. She's got great effectiveness ( a trend for Rebellion for sure ), with quite a few attacks with specal effects to boot. Add onto this pretty high BP ( thought rather high score pages too ), and she ends up a very solid pick. Her real strength is that as a fight goes on longer, she can boost her MOD's to pretty insane amounts with her 'Trumpet Shell', giving her a large edge.
  56. Overall Rank: A
  57.
  58. Captain Liliana 325 ( Missing 2 attacks-528 ) 62% Height: 4 BP: 12
  59. Dazed: 7C Leg: 3C OB: 1 TA: 0 Weapon: -3 Arm: 3C EX Body: 4C KD: 1C Parry: -4 Shatter Skull: -4 Body: 4C
  60. Total Damage: 12
  61. Notes: Arr! This Pirates booty is quite likely going to make you swim with the fishys if you get my drift. Captain Liliana is rather good! With a gun that hurts, swordplay up the antie, and decent score pages all around, Liliana can hold her own vs most others well. There's not much else to point out about her thought. Average height, Average BP, and her attacks all have a good effectiveness rating. The only real flaw is that she's kinda low on the pecking order within Rebellion itself, so her Rank gets cut down a notch thanks to that.
  62. Overall Rank: B
  63.
  64. Sigui 315 (Missing 3 Attacks-528) 60% Height: 4 BP: 11
  65. Dazed: 7C Leg: 4C Chain Block: -5 OB: 2 TA: 0 Weapon: -5 Arm: 4C EX Body: 5C KD: 2C Parry: -4 Chain Break: -1 Body: 5C
  66. Total Damage: 14
  67. Notes: Oh dear oh dear. While having a higher effectiveness then her simular played out friend Melpha, Sigui fucks up in a few other areas that she pays for big time, the biggest one being her score pages. While Melpha had her shield to block attacks with, Sigui has...Just her Chain, that can break BTW. Still, she takes more damage, and only see's 1 little extra BP to make up for that. If nothing else she's one of the few cast thought who can cause the opponet to disarm outright, and saying being disarmed HIGHLY sucks, this is a big advantage for her. Overall she's good, but she's got flaws that hold her back.
  68. Overall Rank: B
  69.
  70. Yuit & Vante 292 (Missing 4 attacks-480) 61% Height: 4 BP: 9
  71. Dazed: 8C Leg: 5C OB: 2 TA: 2 Arm: 4C EX Body: 4 KD: 2C Parry: -1 Body: 4C
  72. Total Damage: 30
  73. Notes: I...didn't think it was possable, but someone ended up with worse score pages then Melona, at almost the same BP, but without the nifty ablity to increse BP. I.e. The worse curse to inflict onto anyone. Mind you these two do have some nifty gimmics like constant damage per turn, a gas attack that will make someone want to run away as fast as possable, and her 'gem' attacks have HIGH effectiveness to boot. But honestly she's just not very good. A SINGLE hit has her panicing thanks to her low BP and high score pages, and her heal is really not even worth it half the time. She would be great with more BP, but as she is, she's just going to get creamed.
  74. Overall Rank: C

  78. Aldra 279 (Missing 5 attacks-456) 61% Height: 4 BP: 12
  79. Dazed: 8C Leg: 5C OB: 1 TA: 1 Weapon: -3 Arm: 5C EX Body: 6C KD: 1C Parry: -4 Body: 6C
  80. Total Damage: 26
  81. Notes: So, take the 'boss' from the last set, give her an OP attack set 'Summon Beast', and then nerf the rest of her to high heven! Honestly Aldra here isn't AS good as Aldra from Blade, outside of her 'Summon Beast' attacks, her one true ace in the hole. So MUCH an ace in the hole that her best attack, Hellfire, got nerfed to 2 uses as she could just spam that otherwise for easy wins. With that limit on her now, less BP, and FAR higher score pages, she's still 'good', but dear lord are her flaws starting to stack agenst her some...And in Rebellion, that's almost a death sentance...
  82. Overall Rank: C
  83.
  84. Mirim 256 (Missing 1 attack-552) 46% Height:4 BP: 12
  85. Dazed: 4C Leg: 1C S.V.S.A.: -5 OB: -1 TA: -1 Weapon: -5 Arm: 0C EX Body: 2C KD: 0C ParryH: -5 EX Leg: 1 ParryL: -5 Vibration: -1 Body: 2C Shield Break: 0 Pushed OB: -1 Blanked Out: 2
  86. Total Damage: -12
  87. Notes: Do you see that total damage right there? DO YOU SEE THAT TOTAL DAMAGE RIGHT THERE?!?! Mirim. Is. Wonderful. She is chances are the only book who can get away with only a 46% effectiveness, and STILL be extremly good. Why? Because she does not care about getting hit that's why. Unless your attacks are +2 or more, you will pretty much not be able to hurt Mirim outside of very rare, and very lucky hits scoring a Dazed. Mirim is what anyone using a shield want's to be, and is the BEST tank in this series long and far. Her only REAL flaws are perhaps how her own MOD's are kinda lackluster, having no health recovery, and spell casters that bypass her low as fuck score numbers to deal MASSIVE damage on any scored page. Overall, I think she's a VERY strong pick, and very annoying one to ever have to fight.

  91. Branwen 250 (Missing 1 attack-552) 45% Height: 4 BP: 16

  93. Total Damage: 7
  94. Branwen...Had a hard life. First being a slave, and then being something akin towards a slightly worse Risty in some factors don't help much. She hit's like Risty, but takes a little less damage per score page then her, then again this really doens't mean much when in the same series stuff like Mirim exsist. Honestly Branwen would have been 'OK' in Queen's Blade, but in Rebellion she's so outclasses it's not even funny. What she does, others do better, and what she offers to make up for that just isn't enough.

  97. Tarnyang & Sainyang 212 (Missing 7 Attacks-408) 52% Height: 4 BP:12

  100. Notes: Take Unicorn ( known at the time to be one of the most OP books in Lost World thanks to one, and one attack ), and then drop it's BP a ton ( from 25 -> 12 ) and you get Tarnyang & Sainyang. OK, for you to understand just how OP this book is, we need to understand one, and one attack, and that's 'Counter Evil'. This one attack will ether make you give up, or kill you if undead/evil, when it lands on ANY SCORE PAGE. There is no way to block this attack, parrying it does not work ( as that's a score page ), and no matter how much BP you had, the battles over. Now that we got the best attack ever made out of the way, lets look at the REST of these two? For starters, they take QUITE a bit of damage on score pages, and add onto this that they have not a lot of attack options, and it's pretty clear they are giving up a LOT of fuction just for this one, and one attack. While Unicorn could get away spamming it because he just has the BP to not care, These two on the other hand HAVE to be careful at all times or one bad move could bring on a quick loss fast. Still, they have the best attack in the game able to end it right there and then, and that does count for a lot. (Also it's the only book with outright nipples in it, too bad it's on the younger of the two gals)
  101. Overall Rank: B
