- -Sleep Clause: You lose if, at the end of your turn, two of your opponent's Pokemon were put to sleep by a move you used but were not forced into, and neither have had their sleep removed since then.
- -Stall Clause: You cannot have more than one of Protect/Detect/King's Shield/Substitute on the same pokemon.
- -Entry Hazard Clause: You can only have one type of entry hazard out at a time
- -Evasion Clause: You cannot boost your pokemon's evasion with moves or items.
- -Baton Pass Clause: Only two pokemon per team can have Baton Pass.
- -Species clause: You cannot have two pokemon with the same national pokedex number on your team.
