  1. What change have you made or will you make in yourself to make the world a better place?

  4. I believe that laziness is the barrier to countless opportunities. To make the world a better place is not a task that is easily done; doing so requires persistence, knowledge and the passion to make a change. And the first step is to rid yourself of the laziness that binds you, preventing you from accomplishing such a daunting task.

In striving to make the world a better place, I will break free from the constraints that bind me, namely, laziness; and open a world of opportunities, to unleash the shackles upon my creativity. In fact there are many examples of creativity that improve the world such as 3-D printed prosthetics. 3-D printed prosthetics are much cheaper than normal prosthetics allowing a much larger population to afford such a thing in developing countries. Another example is a machine that turns sewer waste into clean drinking water. In 2015 2.4 million people didn’t have access to basic sanitation, more than 660,000 drank impure water.
  7. Throughout the world there are millions of people trying to improve the world’s quality of life through inventions, charities and anything imaginable. Organizations such as the Salvation Army, American Red Cross and United Way Worldwide are all organizations that started with someone that had a passion to help people. These people faced countless tribulations on their path to convert their ambitions to reality; and on their journey, their inexhaustible passion paired with boundless persistence paved the way. Inventions such as machines whose purpose lies in helping the many people who were born with or develop disorders. One such example would be dementia. Dementia refers to a wide variety of symptoms serious enough to effect daily life; symptoms such as memory loss, inability to focus
