  1. A smaller planet, approximately 0.65% the size of Alternia, orbiting a red sun. It has longer nights and shorter days due to the angle and spin of its rotation. It has shorter sweeps than Alternia, but only by 2.33 weeks.
  2.
  3. Because of its distance from the sun it orbits, Paryiden is the perfect temperature for lowbloods, but a bit too cold for high bloods. It is in perpetual autumn-winter, and the flora is hardy as a result. Thickly-furred creatures roam the mostly-ice planet, or swim in its frigid waters.
  4.
  5. Because the planets main landmass is mostly snow-and-ice covered, a lot of the buildings are under water, since it’s easier to make a submersible building than to dig up the frozen dirt to make land-based hive stems. Because the environment is too cold for most sea-dwellers, repairs to the underwater structures are done in heated dive suits by low-bloods.
  6.
  7. Due to its location, Paryiden is more of a bit-stop than a full colony, despite being in Troll hands for about 200 years.
  8. Paryiden’s main function is to build more ships, train surviviscers for harsh, cold environments, and winter sports themed activities.
  9.
  10. Trolls born and raised on Paryiden are more likely to have adapted to the cold weather and may have more body-hair or a higher body-weight ratio to non-Paryiden born trolls.
  11.
  12. Paryiden’s native fauna are either large, fanged fur-beasts, or fatty, large sea beasts, with very little deviation. There have been rumblings of sea-serpents at greater depths, but since no sea dweller has bothered to explore the planet, these claims are not substantiated.
  13.
  14. The main mode of travel across Paryiden’s frozen tundra is by snowmobile. Underwater travel is mainly by underwater subways.
