- A smaller planet, approximately 0.65% the size of Alternia, orbiting a red sun. It has longer nights and shorter days due to the angle and spin of its rotation. It has shorter sweeps than Alternia, but only by 2.33 weeks.
- Because of its distance from the sun it orbits, Paryiden is the perfect temperature for lowbloods, but a bit too cold for high bloods. It is in perpetual autumn-winter, and the flora is hardy as a result. Thickly-furred creatures roam the mostly-ice planet, or swim in its frigid waters.
- Because the planets main landmass is mostly snow-and-ice covered, a lot of the buildings are under water, since it’s easier to make a submersible building than to dig up the frozen dirt to make land-based hive stems. Because the environment is too cold for most sea-dwellers, repairs to the underwater structures are done in heated dive suits by low-bloods.
- Due to its location, Paryiden is more of a bit-stop than a full colony, despite being in Troll hands for about 200 years.
- Paryiden’s main function is to build more ships, train surviviscers for harsh, cold environments, and winter sports themed activities.
- Trolls born and raised on Paryiden are more likely to have adapted to the cold weather and may have more body-hair or a higher body-weight ratio to non-Paryiden born trolls.
- Paryiden’s native fauna are either large, fanged fur-beasts, or fatty, large sea beasts, with very little deviation. There have been rumblings of sea-serpents at greater depths, but since no sea dweller has bothered to explore the planet, these claims are not substantiated.
- The main mode of travel across Paryiden’s frozen tundra is by snowmobile. Underwater travel is mainly by underwater subways.
