  1. DAY 1
  2.
  3. Today I used my human as a drawing reference. I posted a few pictures up on my TG account; as usual, very few people favorited. Except for some creepy dude named -meatlick. Fetishists. He probably does unspeakable things to his own humans.
  4.
  5. Heh, that reminds me. My friend was teasing me today about only having one. "Don't you get tired of the flavor?" he asked, a little haughtily. I shrugged and laughed it off. It's not that I'm too poor to afford another one. I just don't see the point. If I get bored of its taste, I flavor it with spices. Or vegetables. Then again, I'm a creature of habit.
  6.
  7. Back to my drawings- yes. I really like drawing still lifes. And she's an especially good subject, as our anatomy isn't so different from that of humans. A few extra muscles for wings and tails, and the bony bumps of horns, and well- you've got a demon. I guess there's skin color and markings to account for too, but that's beside the point.
  8.
  9. There's just some kind of stigma around them. They do get bloated- if you don't use them. Since I only have one, I harvest from it enough that it's adapted. Its organs don't grow so much, since they get taken out before they can give the human a deformed appearance. But people can't care for their humans properly, so all they see are bags of flesh and organs. Junk food. No beauty.
  10.
  11. I'm going to bed, then. Gonna put it in an exercise machine for the night. Makes it jucier.

  14. DAY 2
  15.
  16. Mika came by to visit my studio. He's a gruff-looking fellow, but a good man. You wouldn't tell from the way he walks though. He's got a swagger that tells you who he is, and a look that tells you he doesn't give a damn about who you are. Well, a look from one of his eyes. The other's just a glass orb with a human eye preserved inside. Creepy.
  17.
  18. "Boy, you're really into that girl of yours," he whistled, upon seeing some of my newer paintings.
  19.
  20. "Excuse me?"
  21.
  22. He pointed to the human neatly packed into the tub behind my desk. "Her. Your buffet. Won't blame ya though. You artists have weird taste." His hairy knuckles pressed against the plastic tub's edge. Mika whistled through his pipe. "Looks almost like a demon chick, cept still chubbier."
  23.
  24. I peered down. Ah, it was bloated with blood, that was all. "She'll look better later," I answered, before pulling out what he had really came for. I huffed as the heavy canvas rose from a pile.
  25.
  26. "The one for Kimeros, sir," I handed to him. Children's pieces. I dont do those very often, but Mika was my patron. I could stray from my comfort zone for his son. It was a star-dragon. You know, the one from the story. Every night, the star-dragon rose to light the stars. Then, one day, man stuck in to steal its fire. Man would light the stars on earth, outrivalling those of the sky, until one day, his clothes caught fire and he burnt to the ground. The star dragon gathered his flame from the dying man, and lit the night once again.
  27. A silly kid's story. A man. Stealing fire- hah! One look at the body in the tub, and it seems
  28. hard to believe that such a creature had the power to walk, much less steal.
  29.
  30. He grinned. His hand reached for his back pocket.
  31.
  32. "Oh, no. I don't need any more money," I lied.
  33.
  34. "Jester," he grinned, slapping a few bills into my hand, "You're a good guy. Go out tonight. Have fun. Meet an actual girl. Or hire one, if ya know what I mean." He winked, before striding out with that tell-tale swagger, leaving me with a decent amount of money in my hand and a dumbfounded expression all over my face.
  35.
  36. He's a good guy, alright.
