  1. Jump 81: Half-Life
  2. >Knight of Wands, reversed (The rapid approach, or more likely departure, of someone or something that ruptures your world.)
  3. Are you fucking kidding me right now, tarot deck?
  4. >Location: Black Mesa, front security desk
  5. >Identity: Drop-In
  6. >Drawbacks: War Crime (+200)
  7. "Forget about Freeman! It's the jumper we need to kill!"
  8. Well fuck.
  9. >Universal Blind Spot (900, Drop-In)
  10. Too bad nobody told these soldiers that going up against a jumper with conventional arms is pretty much doomed to fail.
  11. >Anti-Mass Physics (300)
  12. I have no idea what I'm going to do with this, but adding this to my tech base should make things fuuun.
  13. >Lockpicks (Free, Drop-In)
  14. It's not like I need these, but hey.
  15. >Xen Crystal Collection (0)
  16. You know, I was thinking about getting the gravity gun, but then it occurred to me: I can already do everything it does, and furthermore I can make my own.
  17.
  18. Now see, there's a funny thing about this whole incident. Freeman's going to take care of everything perfectly well, and I'm not limited to the usual ridiculousness that comes with having to go through maps without the ability to just bypass impassible obstacles through guile and brute force. I'm not going to interfere in the plot, aside to save some scientists' lives, until after Freeman shuts down the invasion. I'll have left Black Mesa, found a nice little abandoned airfield somewhere, and put my warehouse key into an aircraft hangar door so that one wall of the warehouse is wide open.
  19.
  20. You may recall that, after the Nihilanth was killed, portal storms raged across the planet and then the Seven Hour War occurred. Well... funny thing about all of that: there are apparently ways to stop portal storms, with satellites that are in orbit from Black Mesa (which would otherwise dormant until Episode 2, thanks Obama). I have every intention of doing what I can to activate them and end the portal storm. Odds are good that I will not be successful, which is why I have been gearing up for Plan B: fight off the Combine.
  21.
  22. Having practically unlimited resources at my disposal, the ability to set up complex assembly lines that can make virtually anything in a matter of minutes, and quite frankly I am pretty certain that I can crank out a small army of automatons over the course of a day, and the whole Black Mesa event takes place over the course of about that long if memory serves.
  23.
  24. And I'm pretty sure that despite the Combine having some quite impressive technology, they do not have the means to counter what I'm going to be sending at them. Magitech automatons, built on demand, guaranteed to work to no one's ends but my own.
  25.
  26. Perhaps I should spend my remaining time in the jump chasing them across their worlds and eradicating them outright.
