[19:26]	[GM]	After last time, but before this time: The entity now known as “Ai” was determined to be non-hostile and capable of basic human interaction, but further studies (from Wallberg) and physical acclimation (from Ai) were needed. That pair remains in the lab while the new-resident pair returns to the jeep, and subsequently is driven over to the island’s main house.
[19:27]	Kirin	"Some welcome party that is."
[19:28]	Doktor_Q	Liu yawns loudly, exposing unusually pointy teeth and a barely-forked, rather long tongue. She seems just a bit disappointed, or possibly jetlagged.
[19:28]	Kirin	Ensign Jonah slings the MP7 over his shoulder. He won't be parting with it anytime soon unless the boss says otherwise. Having a weapon near him makes him feel more secure.
[19:30]	[GM]	"Something on your mind, Mr. Moors?" the Colonel asks, turning his head around to the back seat.
[19:31]	Kirin	"just that... that's an unusual thing to be encountering after touching down at this base, sir."
[19:31]	Kirin	"Not that I mind."
[19:34]	[GM]	He nods as they bump down the dirt road past the barracks, passing into a more densely-wooded area if the island.
[19:35]	[GM]	"Better get used to not minding, son. You're liable to see more."
[19:35]	Doktor_Q	"Really?" Liu asks, yawning again, this time having the decency to cover her mouth.
[19:36]	Kirin	"More the reason to have this with me for a while longer."
[19:36]	Kirin	taps his gun lightly to emphasize the point.
[19:38]	[GM]	"You will relinquish your firearm upon entering the main residence, ensign," he comments flatly, turning back forwards. "Unless the base you were previously stationed on felt it was allowable for men such as yourself to carry a live weapon at all times?"
[19:40]	Doktor_Q	Liu stifles a very tiny snicker.
[19:40]	Kirin	"I am allowed to have personal defense while I am on active duty, sir. But that was just an old pistol."
[19:40]	Kirin	"I don't know how you run things here, however, but I plan to abide by the rules."
[19:41]	Kirin	take off his glasses to rub his eyes a bit. Goddamn sea wind, making everything sticky.
[19:42]	[GM]	The Colonel remains stone-faced. "This is not 'active duty', Mr. Moors. This is a civilian asylum and refueling outpost."
[19:42]	[GM]	"I will issue you a regulation firearm when I deem it necessary. One hour ago, I did. Now, I do not."
[19:43]	Kirin	"Sir." He replies, and drop the case entirely.
[19:43]	Kirin	'So I am a civvie here, huh'.
[19:43]	Kirin	mutters.
[19:44]	Doktor_Q	"Why are you here anyway?" Liu asks the young man, bluntly, resting cheek on her fist.
[19:45]	Kirin	"Ask higher-ups. They sent me."
[19:45]	Kirin	he shrugs.
[19:46]	Doktor_Q	She turns to the Colonel. "Why is he here, anyway?" she asks, without missing a beat.
[19:48]	[GM]	"For the same reason you are here, Ms. Long," he replies.
[19:50]	[GM]	They roll up to the main residence. It’s a fairly large mansion with two floors, painted white. The design is simple and practical; certainly nothing that anyone spent years and years honing to perfection, but it does its job. The mansion is situated near the edge of a short cliff, overlooking the ocean, with various breeds of trees ringing the other three sides.
[19:54]	[GM]	The Colonel wastes no time in hopping out of the jeep, while the driver stays in, planning to park the vehicle elsewhere.
[19:54]	Doktor_Q	Liu stares at Jonah intently, while her hands sneaks up behind him. Then she pinches his butt, checking for a tail.
[19:55]	Kirin	"What the-!?
[19:55]	Kirin	Jonah yelps in surprise as he has been buttgrabbed by a girl he just met.
[19:55]	Doktor_Q	Liu glances about innocently, stepping out of the jeep. "Liar," she mumbles inaudibly.
[19:58]	Kirin	He stood there, unsure of how to react. Did he just got checked out?
[20:00]	[GM]	The Colonel maintains his external composure at this horseplay. "As you were, citizens."
[20:01]	Doktor_Q	Liu stands at attention, more naturally than before, but still not correctly. She's grinning faintly.
[20:01]	[GM]	He walks into the house, apparently expecting the two to follow him.
[20:02]	Kirin	Jonah awkwardly climbs out of the jeep, totally distracted. He follows the two inside, keeping obvious distance from the drakegirl.
[20:03]	Doktor_Q	Liu keeps her attention on the Colonel, completely ignoring Jonah now as she heads for her new home.
[20:03]	[GM]	The Colonel holds open the door for them, continuing where he had left off quite a while before.
[20:05]	[GM]	"Returning to our PREVIOUS discussion, the both of you will be employed here within the residence and compensated according to your results. Room and board will be provided."
[20:08]	[GM]	Once the pair are inside, he shuts the door and follows them in. The interior is more or less the same as the exterior; off-white walls, very practical. There's not many decorations anywhere, which gives it a feeling of just moving in to a newly-built building.
[20:09]	Doktor_Q	Liu take a deep breath, swishing her tail as she looks around.
[20:10]	[GM]	Mr. Samuelson walks in front of Jonah and holds out his hand expectantly, face still quite firm and businesslike.
[20:11]	Doktor_Q	Liu completely fails to suppress a grin, glancing at Jonah just out of the corner of her eye.
[20:13]	Kirin	"I place myself in your care, sir."
[20:13]	Kirin	He give him a firm handshake.
[20:14]	[GM]	He shakes it. "Your firearm, ensign."
[20:14]	Kirin	"Oh. Bugger."
[20:14]	Kirin	he relinquish his firearms borrowed from the armory, albeit hesitantly.
[20:15]	Kirin	'man why is everything gone so wrong today
[20:15]	Kirin	guess I wake up on the wrong side of the bed'
[20:17]	[GM]	The Colonel deftly ejects the magazines from both and pockets them, then walks into an adjoining room, depositing the materials in their place in a gun locker.
[20:18]	[GM]	Outside, the sound of a fast-approaching jeep and the petering out of its motor as the vehicle shuts down can be heard.
[20:18]	[GM]	He frowns, walking over to a window and peeking outside at this new disturbance.
[20:23]	Ai`	soon enters, glancing everywhere and taking in everything. A second later, she shifts her stare up to the Colonel and again copies Liu's extended hand gesture. While she appears human enough, her focused stare is still slightly unnerving.
[20:24]	Doktor_Q	"It's Sumi!" Liu cheers up as the girl enters.
[20:24]	Ai`	[She also lacks clothes, having opted to simplify her surface. No anatomical details are present, as if her skin was one continuous silvery bodysuit.]
[20:25]	[GM]	Wallberg stands right in her shadow, looking a little excited. He's currently wearing a pair of aviator sunglasses, shielding the world from his uncanny stare.
[20:26]	[GM]	"Sorry, sorry, but she REALLY wanted more human interaction, or something; it's complicated!" he almost shouts, speaking quickly.
[20:26]	Ai`	looks to Liu.
[20:26]	Ai`	"Hello."
[20:27]	Doktor_Q	"Hi~" She waves back
[20:27]	Ai`	copies the wave with her spare hand. The other hasn't moved a millimeter, still extended to the Colonel.
[20:29]	Kirin	"She need something to wear, I think."
[20:30]	Kirin	"...not that I mind." Jonah ends with his trademark phrases.
[20:30]	[GM]	The Colonel, having NOT yet seen this creature, does not immediately shake what may or may not be its "hand". He stares authoritatively at Wallberg.
[20:30]	Doktor_Q	Liu nods in agreement.
[20:31]	[GM]	"Do you care to explain this, Mr. Wallberg?" he asks sternly.
[20:33]	[GM]	"Oh, oh right, you weren't... Umm! Well, uhh, this is, it's the pod! That pod that came out of the rift! I mean, it uhh, it reconfigured itself into a humanoid shape! I mean, well, you understand yeah?"
[20:34]	Doktor_Q	"She turned cute!" Liu summarizes.
[20:47]	[GM]	Colonel Samuelson lowers his eyebrows, flicking them between the four parties present in the room. He does not appear impressed, nor does he hnnng.
[20:49]	Ai`	's hand remains outstretched with Ai looking uo to the colonel.
[20:50]	[GM]	"Mr. Wallberg, I will speak to you in private?" he states, though it's oddly toned as a question. Ignoring Ai's hand completely and moving towards another hallway, he says without turning around, "The rest of you, remain here; another resident will be here to direct you momentarily."
[20:53]	Kirin	Jonah shrugs as he waits. There's nothing better to do anyway.
[20:55]	Ai`	watches the Colonel go. After a beat, she drops her hand and stares at Jonah.
[20:55]	Doktor_Q	Liu starts pacing the front room.
[20:56]	Ai`	"Hello."
[20:57]	Kirin	"Uh. Huh? oh hey. Hi."
[20:58]	Kirin	He was being absent minded prior, so the sudden greeting surprises him.
[21:00]	Ai`	continues staring in silence, scanning over Jonah. After a short moment slightly too long, she speaks up again.
[21:00]	Ai`	"What is your name?"
[21:03]	Kirin	"Jonah Moors." He decide to drop the title of ensigh entirely, since it doesn't matter now. "You?"
[21:04]	Kirin	He now feel incredibly dumb for asking that. He named her himself, didn't he?
[21:04]	Ai`	replies without a beat.
[21:05]	Ai`	"You may call me 'Ai'."
[21:05]	Doktor_Q	Liu giggles, directly behind his shoulder.
[21:06]	Ai`	"Everyone here seems based on one model and one change."
[21:06]	Ai`	"What is yours?"
[21:07]	Kirin	"Model? well... "
[21:07]	Kirin	he throws a glance at Liu. Assistance, here?
[21:07]	Kirin	"What do you mean by model?"
[21:07]	Doktor_Q	Liu is very closely examining him, face inches from his body.
[21:08]	Ai`	"Searching..."
[21:08]	Kirin	Jonah feels like he's a cat toy, with a clingy cat pawing at him.
[21:08]	Ai`	"'Form, shape, appearance'."
[21:08]	Doktor_Q	"Try 'handsome'?" Liu suggests.
[21:09]	Ai`	takes Liu literally.
[21:09]	Ai`	"Handsome. Searching..."
[21:09]	Ai`	"... Is everyone here 'handsome'?"
[21:10]	Doktor_Q	"For girls, it's 'pretty'," Liu corrects, giving a nod otherwise
[21:11]	Ai`	"'Sexy'?"
[21:11]	Kirin	"Wait. I think I got it."
[21:11]	Ai`	quips without delay.
[21:12]	Kirin	he pushes Liu's face away.
[21:12]	Doktor_Q	"That too!" she points, bracing herself with one arm around Jonah's shoulder, resisting.
[21:12]	Kirin	"We run on -male- and -female- model. With hundreds and thousands of optional parts."
[21:12]	Kirin	"to the point that every model is unique."
[21:13]	Doktor_Q	Liu makes a very quiet, derisive remark in chinese.
[21:13]	Ai`	somehow looks uninterested despite staying still.
[21:13]	Ai`	"I already understand you are 'biological'."
[21:14]	Ai`	"I am 'artificial'."
[21:14]	Kirin	Jonah feel like he got slapped in the face by a flyswatter.
[21:14]	Ai`	clarifies herself.
[21:14]	Ai`	"I ask about the- changes."
[21:14]	Ai`	"Anomalies."
[21:14]	Ai`	points to Liu's dragon tail and antlers.
[21:15]	Doktor_Q	"Hmm?" Liu asks, trying to look up at her antlers, and, failing that, looking at her tail.
[21:16]	Doktor_Q	"But these are normal!" she protests, now half-lifting herself onto Jonah's shoulder for height, squishing her breast into his cheek.
[21:16]	Kirin	"That's her -optional parts-, I guess."
[21:16]	Ai`	"All share that range of 'optional parts'?"
[21:17]	Doktor_Q	"Hey! They aren't anymore optional than that!" She declares hotly, pointing down, past Jonah's belt, baring her teeth.
[21:17]	Kirin	"Few." he crouches down, so Liu would be on his shoulder instead.
[21:18]	Kirin	"it's uncommon in this area, yup."
[21:18]	Kirin	now he stands up, carrying Liu like a sack of rice.
[21:18]	Ai`	"What causes it?"
[21:19]	Doktor_Q	She manages to lightly slap the other side of his head with her tail. The end feels kind of feathery.
[21:19]	Kirin	he totally feel like spinning her around, so he does so. Spinning, spinning, spinning.
[21:20]	Doktor_Q	"I'm a dragon!" She replies, still focused angrily on Jonah, clinging to him and struggling like a caught bass.
[21:20]	Kirin	"I say planar shifts." He said that while spinning slowly. "Try google it."
[21:21]	Ai`	"'Google'..."
[21:21]	Ai`	"Where is the nearest 'Internet' facility?"
[21:22]	Doktor_Q	"I'm a real one, not some halfbreed, either!" She keeps protesting, trying not to fall off.
[21:23]	Ai`	persists on her line of questioning.
[21:23]	Ai`	"This island has internet access? Correct?"
[21:24]	Kirin	"I sure hope so!" Jonah now spinning faster than ever!
[21:25]	Ai`	figures that access might not happen soon, given the exchange, but prioritizes it.
[21:25]	Ai`	follows Liu as she is spun about.
[21:26]	Ai`	"Can you breathe fire?"
[21:26]	Doktor_Q	Liu has remarkably stopped talking, now curling herself entirely around Jonah's upper body in an attempt to remain attached.
[21:26]	Doktor_Q	"No! Who does thaaaaaaaaa?!" She starts to shout.
[21:27]	Ai`	<<Revising 'Dragon' profile...>>
[21:28]	Ai`	continues watching the spin with interest.
[21:28]	Kirin	Jonah laughs manically as he terrorize the poor dragon
[21:28]	Ai`	[and, after another short pause...]
[21:28]	Ai`	"Can you 'spin' me?"
[21:31]	Kirin	"hahahahahahoahoawhoa--!"
[21:32]	Doktor_Q	Liu's mass finally overbalances him, and drops them both to the ground in a heap. Somehow, Liu ends up on top, even without letting go.
[21:32]	Ai`	just watches them fall.
[21:32]	Kirin	"ow fiddlesticks."
[21:33]	Kirin	he tries to push her out. "How many times did you fall on top of me today? two? three?"
[21:33]	Ai`	conjures a new question.
[21:33]	Doktor_Q	Liu stares down at him, teeth clenched, hair a mess, face barely flushed, and eyes moist, without answering his question.
[21:34]	Ai`	"... Is this common behavior?"
[21:34]	Kirin	"I have no bloody freaking idea."
[21:37]	Doktor_Q	Liu plants one foot on either side of Jonah, giving him a rather nice view for the half-second before she grabs him, one hand on his collar, one at his belt, and hoists him directly over hear head.
[21:37]	Doktor_Q	Then, she begins to spin him, passing hand over hand, as fast as she can muster, sweat forming on her skin.
[21:39]	Ai`	watches the spinning again. Around, and around, and around...
[21:42]	Kirin	"wwwwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa-----!!"
[21:51]	[GM]	A new face runs down the hallway, though her steps are so quiet on the floor she’ nearly sneaks up on them outright. She wears tan slacks and a similar-colored blazer over a white oxford shirt and navy-blue necktie, all of it partially obscured by a labcoat that trails behind her like a cape. To look at her face is to instantly think “cat”, but her entire head screams it, covered in...
[21:51]	[GM]	...sandy-orange fur with piercing slitted blue eyes and perky ears. Black claws poke out of her latex-gloved hands, which by the shape appear to be covering even more fur.
[21:51]	[GM]	She starts stopping well before she collides with any of them, though perhaps sliding more than she’d like to since she’s not wearing any shoes at the moment; clearly very paw-like feet, though they’re not really feet-like paws. She digs her heels into the wood floor when she sees that she’s not stopping fast enough, but it only unbalances her and sends her forwards…!
[21:51]	[GM]	"Woah woahwoahwoahwoah!"
[21:53]	Doktor_Q	Liu, completely focused on her revenge, takes the force of the body blow in full, knocking her flat, and sending Jonah upward.
[21:54]	Ai`	notices the newcomer too late, and is bowled over behind Liu! A dull and solid metallic "clang" rings out once she hits the floor. Given her composition, she's perfectly fine; the others, however...
[21:55]	Kirin	"What with all this bloody freaking violence todaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy~?!"
[21:55]	Kirin	The voice trails off a bit as he is tossed in the air.
[21:56]	Kirin	Though his reflev cause him to do a safe roll and landed safely. Yay for elementary school PE knowledge!
[21:57]	[GM]	Somehow, amidst all the tackling, the cat-girl still ends up with both feet planted on the ground, though admittedly she's on all fours at the moment.
[21:57]	Kirin	"Seriously!"
[21:58]	Kirin	stands up and dust himself a bit.
[21:58]	[GM]	The cat's fuzzy tail accidentally flicks into Liu's face.
[21:58]	Ai`	unceremoniously rolls out from under Liu and stands up to stare at the newcomer.
[21:58]	Ai`	"Who are you?"
[21:58]	Doktor_Q	"Ooooghh..." Liu groans, clutching her stomach, nose twitching as it's tickled
[21:59]	[GM]	"Sorry, sorrysorry!" she apologizes, still getting her bearings straight.
[22:01]	Doktor_Q	"What was that for?!" Liu cries, pouting as she rights herself.
[22:05]	[GM]	"I was trrrying to stop, come onyeh!" the girl cries, pouting as she rights herself.
[22:06]	Ai`	reiterates herself.
[22:06]	Ai`	"Again, who are you?"
[22:06]	Doktor_Q	"Running indoors is dangerous!" Liu counters, bouncing to her feet.
[22:07]	Ai`	composes a full LIDAR scan of the catlady while awaiting her answer.
[22:07]	[GM]	"Wha, oh!" The girl spins to face the liquid-metal girl-thing. She retains her cheerful attitude. "I'm Kaitlyn, but please, call me Kitkat; nobody ever does, which sucks."
[22:08]	[GM]	Kaitlyn holds out a gloved hand for her to shake.
[22:09]	Doktor_Q	Liu growls
[22:09]	Ai`	reaches forth and shakes it with unsmoothed mechanical motions.
[22:09]	Ai`	"Ai."
[22:10]	[GM]	"Eye? Weird; how'd'you spell it?"
[22:10]	Ai`	"'A'.'I'."
[22:10]	Ai`	remains utterly and completely factual.
[22:11]	Doktor_Q	"Shoulda been Sumi," she mutters darkly.
[22:12]	[GM]	"Oh, cool!" She turns to the other two. "You must the nyew guys! Hi!"
[22:12]	Ai`	looks back to Liu, briefly.

[22:13]	Doktor_Q	"Really?" She brightens up, seemingly forgetting even the flying tackle she just received.

[22:14]	Doktor_Q	"Thanks, Sumi!" She cries, squeezing her in a hug.
[22:15]	[GM]	Kaitlyn backs up and gives the two some space. She looks at Jonah up and down.
[22:15]	Kirin	"Uh, hi." He tries to calm the hell down before dealing with this new one.
[22:15]	Kirin	"Ensign Jonathan Moors."
[22:15]	Ai`	is simply enveloped, head buried around Liu's chest level. After a moment, she figures to return the gesture.
[22:15]	Ai`	[It is a light hug.]
[22:15]	[GM]	"Hmmmmmm... You seem prrrrrretty nyormal, you knyow?"
[22:16]	[GM]	"What's wrong with you?"
[22:16]	Kirin	"Well, I am."
[22:16]	Kirin	"I was assigned here, somehow."
[22:16]	Doktor_Q	"He doesn't even have a tail," Liu cuts in, still cuddling the robot.
[22:17]	[GM]	Kat sticks our her tongue at him. "Duh, they wouldn't have brrrrought you here if you weren't differrent!"
[22:17]	Ai`	tries to turn her head to regain sight, but is ill-successful. She opts to remain where she is.
[22:17]	Ai`	"Something must be different."
[22:18]	Ai`	"One 'change'."
[22:19]	[GM]	"I mean, me? Nyow I'M different!" She holds out her arms and shows herself, even though most of "herself" looks totally normal with the clothes on.
[22:20]	Kirin	"That you are."
[22:21]	Kirin	He ruffles her head a bit.
[22:21]	Kirin	"No doubt."
[22:22]	Doktor_Q	"Maybe he's abnormally boring," Liu suggests, giving him a toothy smile. Not the nice kind.
[22:22]	[GM]	"Guess I'll just have to find out myself, hee!" She bounces away, ruffling his hair three times as hard as he ruffled hers.
[22:22]	[GM]	"Come on, lemme show you all around!"
[22:23]	Ai`	begins following her without qualm.
[22:24]	Kirin	"Huh. Alright. here goes."
[22:24]	Kirin	Jonah follows the catgirl into this new place.
[22:25]	Doktor_Q	Liu releases Sumi and trials after the others.
