- It was a crude awakening once more as Kyrian would get out of bed to head over to the kitchen to munch on what his brother Krosious had made for the two of them. He didn't like the fact that he had to be so close to him. But they were family, and thats all they had. They both needed to find out where Lucas was. To see if he was dead or alive. After that and only after that.
- Would the two finally settle out their problems.
- But that was all as Kyrian would go back to bed. Finishing his rabbit leg, he would turn tails and make his way back towards his cottage. But as he was on his way. The faint smell of the smoked boar which was kept for his brother was lignering in the air. Trying to retain his hunger for the boar he forced himself to continue on towards his bed. But it wouldn't take long for him to come up with an excuse saying.
- "Krosious wouldn't mind. . . right? . . . . I'll just take a piece of it. . . he wouldn't get mad if I only had taken a few bites out of his meal. "
- It wouldn't take him long for him to rush back over to the kitchen and devour his brothers boar. Leaving nothing but bone. Feeling nothing but a little sense of guilt. He walked back towards his bed with a satisifying taste on his lip as he burped with gratituded. He gladfully laid back in bed to only close his eyes and fall asleep once more.
- The only problem is that Kyrian had been getting alot of nightmares recently. He didn't know what had causes them. Only that he's been suffering from them for a while now. It's like he was changing. Slightly, but it still showed. He started to lose the taste for vegetables or anything other than meat, and whenever he attempted to eat them. They wouldn't satisfy him as they had long ago. . . It had started to scare him. Only that later he came up with a theory that it was just probably him growing out of it
- (Kyrian Hayes)
- The only problem was. That each time Kyrian had fell asleep, he would have the same dream over and over again. It was either that he was having a pleasent dream until the creature would appear out of nowhere. Whether it be a dog, a cat, a yokai, or a rabbit. The list would go on and on and on. Sometimes he would even have dreams about the people he would talk to would suddenly transform into this being. Shocking and scaring him so much that he would awake momentairly from his dreams, and it would happen each time he tried to sleep.
- Bags were bound to hang underneathe his eyes by now. But for some reason. They haven't. Which was all the more how it worried him. But the biggest problem was trying to sleep without having to be creepily stared down by the figure.
- But this time wasnt the case. . . . As Kyrian was finally able to fall asleep
- (Kyrian Hayes)
- It was a simple dream. . . A dream about Cyano, Wesker, Mario, his brothers Lucas and Krosious, Darjeeling, The mighty Camina, Sable, Arilma, the Kaor who was the father of Nef, and Nef. It was all of them gathered around the tree stump outside of his and his brothers den. Gathered around for what seemed like. . . a picnic? no. . . . a birthday party that he had always read about when he was studying away in the Rose Court Tower.
- But it was weird as everyone gathered around had seemed to grant him a wish. Then cheer his name on while singing towards him. Was it his?
- Quick to look around, Kyrian would notice that there would be a big banner in the sky labeled as "HAPPY BIRTHDAY KYRIAN!". Which would only shock him. Suddenly he was seated at a table with everyone talking to the other as if they were buddies. Friends. . . and they were socializing. It was insane at first thought. But it wouldn't take long for Kyrian to join all in on the fun. Eating cake, which had a chicken flavor to it. Which was weird at first. But it didn't bother him as he went about to play games with the others. Even the Kaor was playing with the others. It had felt odd at first. But as time went by. He paid it no mind as he was having a blast!
- (Kyrian Hayes)
- Hours would rapidly go by as the sun had started to hang lower, and it was time for everyone to head home. Everyone including Kyrian. But he would be the last to know this as everyone would say "Good night Kyrian!" or "I had fun Kyrian!" as the ran off into the distance.
- And it wouldn't take long for Kyrian's smile to fade away as he realized everyone was leaving, and for some reason. He felt sad.
- It wouldn't take long for Kyrian to start heading home as the sun setted. But he took his time as he knew that it wasn't far.
- (Kyrian Hayes)
- As Kyrian traveled slowly towards his house. He would stare down at the ground. Playing with a stone with his feet as he kept on. Then suddenly the surroundings would slowly change. Morph and change as he continued on. But he wouldn't notice until it was to late.
- Caw!
- Quckly staring up towards the forest as he heard a crow call out loud and fly off into the distance as it made alot of noise leaving the branches of the trees.
- Quickly to shrug that off. Kyrian would turn back to focus on his stone to continue his game of 'kick-my-way-my-way-to-home'. But as he looked at the ground. His stone wasn't there. Instead it was a grave shadow. A shadow that circled around the surrounding area. It took him a while to realize it but it was there. Sudden the area would become a shade of red. It was as if someone put a red color shader infront of the moon to change it's moon light into red instead of white.
- Only that it was impossible. It would be crazy to see, so he dared himself to take a look at the moon. Which was his greatest mistake as he saw the moon a blood red color. . .
- (Kyrian Hayes)
- 'It's happening again'
- Kyrian's eyes grew wide with shock as he turned towards his house to run. But as he turned. He noticed something that caught him dead in his tracks.
- It was a wolf this time. A black-sheep colored wolf. It stared at him with eyes of emptiness. Ones that represented nothing. Just like. . . a void, and within that void. He saw destruction. Chaos. Saddness. Pain. Gore. Hurt. Cannibalism. More Pain. Devouring. Hatred. and even more meals of humaniods.
- He was shown all of it. Acts of forbidden taboos. One of the many greatest sins that a humaniod could commit.
- It wouldn't be long as the images had stopped and he was back in control of his body. But his body would become stiff. It wouldn't move as he had seemed to be shocked in place. Paralyzed.
- Sweat soon beaded his face as his breathing labored. His heart raced. Was this fear?
- He hadn't felt it in so long and now it was. Why hadn't he awoken by now. Why couldn't he move. Rapid thoughts blazed about his mind as the wolf kept staring back at him nonchaluantly.
- But he had to go. He needed to go. But as he stood there staring at the wolf. He had this weird feeling to walk towards the creature and embrace it. Which gave him a red flag as it was temptation. Not him actually wanting too.
- Before long he, he forced himself to stab his knee with his claws. Breaking himself out of the trace, and giving him the freedom to turn and run down the road for his home.
- (Kyrian Hayes)
- But as he turned to run, he would bump into Nef. Who would have a worrying look on her face as he came crashing down ontop of her.
- "Nef! We gotta go! There's this- this- creature- this wolf! . . . . It showed me images of- like- blood- torture- bad things! we gotta go! we gotta go!" he said desperately aggressively as he rushed the two of them to their feet. Stumbling as they both got up. But as he continued on to run as he reached out to grab Nef's arm to pull her along. She would stop him with a dead lock grip on his arm before they even moved a meter.
- Causing him to turn back and turn towards her. He would begin to yell at her and ask her what she was doing. But as he looked past her. There was nothing but the wolf that he was previviously looking at. Causing him to panic. But as he continued to stare at it. He would notice that it was different. It was just. A normal wolf, which then would turn tail and walk towards the forest to never be seen again.
- Turning to focus on Nef to explain that his situation. The look in her eyes had seemed worried and caring. Bringing his words to a halt.
- "Everyone home is worried about you. Lets head back and let them know that everything is alright. . . . . . why are you looking like that? Stop it and put your tounge back in your mouth now will you." she would say with a caring tone at first, then playful as he thought she was teasing him at the end.
- But he didn't realize. That she was being seirous as his tounge was outside of his mouth. His breathing was laboring still. But it wasn't the one of being scared or tired. It was the sort of being excited. Thrilled even. Which confused him even more.
- "Come on, let me lead goof-ball" she would say as she took him by the hand. It wouldn't be long for him to appear at home at a table with people he didn't even know sitting down and having a good time. His house was full of people. People that he knew, people that he had only saw, and people he had no clue about
- (Kyrian Hayes)
- Being welcomed into his home was such a reliever. Was this truly a dream, he would start to think. But as he thought more about it. The more it felt weird to him. When did he ever own a house?
- That was the trigger as he felt everything start to distort around him. But as he was wake up. Sherry the bartender would grab him by the arm and say to him.
- "Come on Kyrian! I know its your birthday and all. But don't you think you had to much to drink? Go say thanks to all these people who showed up. Be glad that Cyano, Darjeeling and Nef loves you this much to bring such a crowd. The only people who come to my birthdays are just close friends and family. So be happy and go show them your thanks!"
- In which he would respond with "Yeah. Maybe I have. . . . Your right!". Grinning at the end.
- It wouldn't take him long for him to turn and greet and thank each guest. Both people he knew or didn't, and each time he brought each of them in for a tight friendly hug. He felt better and better. It wouldn't be long for him to finally greet each person and thank them for coming.
- (Kyrian Hayes)
- Yawning outloud. Kyrian became tired. No, actually exhausted from all that hugging. But then it would seem that everyone else was tired as their movements would become ruggish and slow. Some where passed out over the couch. Others were asleep on the furniture, and the rest of the group were dazed in place or intoxicated enough to stand. Causing them to end up on the ground and lay in puddles of alcohol
- (Kyrian Hayes)
- The sight would only make him laugh a bit as he began to walk around. But everyone was either passed out on the floor or mumbling words as they laid in puddles of alcohol. He knew he was soon to be an adult but this was to much. But the scent in the air was intoxicating as he licked his lips to its sweet flavor.
- He was exhausted yes. But something made him stay to want more. Plus it was rude to go to bed when an entire group of people had came just for you. But as Kyrian had that thought. Sherry would appear again.
- "Whoa there Kyrian. . . It seems that you had a bit to much to eat huh? Why don't you go upstairs to bed."
- Which brought a curious look upon Kyrian's face as he looked at her in confusion. What was she talking about? He hadn't eaten. . . Had he?
- Rubbing his head in confusion. He would nod his head as he said "Okay. . . " thinking that infact the atmosphere was starting to get to him.
- (Kyrian Hayes)
- The next thing he knew, Kyrian was upstairs in his room with Nef.
- 'How did she get in here?' he thought as he stood there in her arms, and her in his.
- Kyrian would start off by asking her if she had enjoyed the party in which she said yes, then she asked him if he liked his presents.
- Which once again made him confused. But he agreed to make her feel better. It wouldnt take long for him to thank her for throwing such a party for him.
- "It wasn't a big deal. . . Just gotta do what you gotta do hehe!" she said playfully. Then the conversation would begin to continue just like that for an hour or so. He was surprised himself that he could keep a conversation up so long without even moving.
- (Kyrian Hayes)
- Soon to beckon her to bed. Kyrian would tell her that his legs were starting to fall asleep on him in a joking matter. Which recieved a playful laugh which once again made him smile.
- But as he moved to sit down and bring her with him. He stayed still. Unmoving. Kyrian would then ask her what was wrong as he stood up once more.
- "Nef? You okay? . . . Don't tell me that you fell asleep while standing again. Hahaha. . . Nef?"
- His tone was calm and caring, then he bursted out a sad joke in attempt to make her atleast smile or move. But her head was tilted downwards. Making it impossible to get a good view at her face as her hair was covering the lot of it.
- So he would just have to reach over with his finger and press softly underneath he chin to bring her head up so she could face him.
- "Come on now. . . Don't tell me that you had alot to drink aswell. . .Huhh!"
- (Kyrian Hayes)
- As he gazed into her eyes. He would see nothing there anymore. Just emptyness. Darkness. A void.
- It was as if her eyes were plunged out of their sockets and occult had made a home for it's self within.
- Gasping out loud in shock. He would try to pull away. But Nef would reach out would maintain her cold grip on his arms and wouldn't allow him to get away. If anything. She brought him closer to her.
- Paniced by this sudden movement. He tried to twist and turn his way out of this. But she just wouldn't let go. But soon he would find it useless. So he faced the creature which transformed Nef.
- "What do you want . . ." he growled as he bared his fangs.
- three heart beats would go by before Nef would talk.
- It's more like. . . what do YOU want?
- the voice replied. But it spoke weirdly. Nef's lips moved. But no sound would come out. Instead the voice boomed within his head, causing Kyrian to wince.
- (Kyrian Hayes)
- This would only cause Kyrian to glare at Nef once more as annoyance blazed within his eyes.
- "What's the matter Kyrian? Why are you looking at me like that?"
- Nef would once sppeak again. But this time. It was her voice. As it had came from her lips. She was speaking. It was her!
- Taking back by this sudden action. Kyrian's eyes had dialated as he looked at her differently.
- "Nef?. . . Is that. . . Is that really you?. . ." he asked with confusion and concern
- No you dumbwitted human!
- The voice roared in his mind. Causing him to kneel down for a bit before standing once again to face Nef. Stepping forward and staring her down. Face to face.
- "What did you do to Nef!" he shouted out loud.
- Ooh Nef? Don't you worry about that. . . What you should be worrying about is yourself. . . .
- ". . . . . What do you mean? . . ." Kyrian asked defensively
- In response. He recieved a short laugh, causing him to become further inraged.
- "Stop playing games! Who are you?!" Shouting once more as his attitude had become once more threatening
- . . . . You know who I am. . . You pray to me every night. You worship to me every month. Yet you won't go all the way and devour human flesh? What's stopping you?
- ". . . . . . ."
- Kyrian was responseless. He would only look to his side before Nef gave out another laugh.
- (Kyrian Hayes)
- Suddenly the scenario would change as Kyrian and Nef would appear in the living room of his home.
- Look with your own eyes and face it. . . . your disgusting. . . .
- And Kyrian would. He would look out to the entire sceen. The 'guest' that were supposivly alseep. They were. Only thing was that they weren't ever going to wake up. The entire lot of them were dead. Each and everyone of them was dead. . . . .
- And the alcohol that Kyrian had thought was surrounding the 'sleeping' bodies. Was blood. The metallic scent had covered the atmosphere as he stood there in wait. Watching at what he had done. The bodies, each of them were his cause. He saw the bite and claw marks on each of there bodies.
- He soon did remember a few of the guest trying to talk before. To each other. . . . to him. . . Was it that they were crying out in pain? Telling him to stop?
- Yes. . . .
- The voice would once say again.
- Thats why I said it was disgusting. . . How you could only do something in a dream, but not bring yourself to do it in real life. It makes no sense to me.
- Clenching his fist. Kyrian would stare cold-heartedly at at Nef.
- "It's a taboo! No one in their right mind would do such a thing!" he shouted towards her.
- Yet you do it in your dreams. . .
- "Shut Up!" he yelled back in retaliation
- In which Nef would only shake her head at the surrondings would fade away. Fade away into his room, where the two were currently standing. Once again holding hands.
- Trust me. . . it's worth it. . . .
- She would smile and then reach out towards his lips with her hand to only draw blood from his victims.
- It's not bad. . . . It's good. . . . .
- She would then pull his head towards her neck as she got up onto her tippy toes.
- Now. . . It's time. . . Don't hold back. . .
- All this time, Kyrian's nightmares was about him giving into his blood lust. Him devouring those who he faced. Haunting him. . . But it was time for him not to hold back anymore. . Nef was right . . . .
- Tilting back his head. Kyrian would open his maw as he would chomp down on her. The first girl that he ever loved. His crush. . . .
- Suddenly, he was awake again. Not a sleep in his eye. He was ready. . .
- He was ready to worship to Saekanis
