- Hello its Kinoshita Yuka
- I'm going to find a recipe to cook today with an app
- its this. "Gu no shi" gunoshi. its been downloaded over 10 million times it is a news application with entertainment sections sports and all sorts of things. it makes it easy for you to find all sorts of information.
- alright lets look for a few things
- uwaaa~ I can find all sorts of news
- oooh this drama I really wanted to watch this it got 13.1% huh... I feel like I won't be watching this *giggle*
- oh its Rinachan she's cute. oh its birthday plans hmmm.
- you can even read manga in this app with new ones like Nodame Cantabile and Kindaichi its easy to catch up on your favorites. so nice isn't it?
- These are nice and all but the thing I am most interested in is..... Food
- here it is. to be honest I already did a search and found a recipe I liked and clipped it. to clip something is to uhhh lets take this starbucks frap here for example if you feel like clipping it you hit the bottom and do this you can easily find it from the clip button screen up top
- and with this feature you can collect all sorts of things you like together in one place. and mine is filled with food.
- today I will be making this large shiu mai <Steamed usually pork dumpling but can be different fillings other than pork>
- so we will be following the recipe from gunoshi and making it!!!
- the ingredients are this:
- dice an onion
- its been diced
- in a bowl I add the onion ground meat and a 1/2 tablespoon of ginger
- in this we add the sauce 2 tbsp sugar. 2tbsp soy sauce oyster sauce sesame oil 1 tbsp <and I think cooking wine 2 tbsp>
- and now mix to incorporate
- it smells so good the ginger and soy sauce are really coming out
- K its mixed
- thinly slice gyoza skins
- and in a fry pan arrange half the skins
- on top of that you place the meat mixture
- I put it on
- and flatten it all around
- I flattened it
- and then place the remaining gyoza skins on top
- and decorate with green peas
- to look like this
- add water and cook on high
- once it starts to boil lid it and lower the heat to low
- simmer for 8 minutes
- I will open it
- UWAAAAAA~ it looks so yummy
- cook on high till the remaining water evaporates
- add some sesame oil and crisp the bottom
- tadaaa its done. it smells soo good
- OISHI SOUU DESUUU
- I poured a mixture of soy sauce and vinegar on top
- if you cut it into pieces it resembles small shiu mai
- mmmm! the meat is so juicy and the bottom is nice and crispy with the sesame oil
- freshly made things are the best aren't they
- its ridiculously good
- it really looks like a shiu mai doesn't it?
- now to compare this to a regular shiu mai that I've eaten in the past the bottom is nicely crisped and since there is SOOOO much to eat I think I might prefer this.
- shiu mai are sooooo tiny and to all these tiny little pieces its nice to have something with a big slab of meat and a thin skin... I think I might really like this
- the last bite itadakimasuuu
- GOCHISOSAMADESHITA
- the meat was very juicy and the skin was crisped nicely it was very delicious. gunoshi was very useful and everyone please give it a try in the description below I'll add a URL if you would like give it a look
- and as always thank you for watching if you liked this video please hit the like and subscribe buttons BAI BAI
