Item Name: Union
Description: A simple name, for a simple concept, which titles a not-so-simple work of craftsmanship. A dark base metal makes up its composition, appearing as Nyeshk but is instead a dyed, infused arcanium. Bleach white plates of bone stand stark against the inky black, forming extra protection over each pectoral, the belly, and the back.

In the very center, over the sternum, is a shallow half sphere of more dyed arcanium that is fused to the rest of the armor. In quiet moments the casual, can her a clattering, a maddened chittering, from within. Closer examination still reveals its source when the interior of the armor is visible.

Protected by the metallic shell without is a crustaceanoid creature with hungry jaws and grasping claws, all of which have been painstakingly tipped in a mysterious, purplish mineral that's lined with a dizzyingly intricate script of runes; sigils for combining, for encouraging cohesion, feature heavily.

The wearer of this breastplate, instead of getting their organs liquified by the attached symbiote's venom, it bolsters the vitality of its host. Skin becomes more difficult to damage, taking on a chitinous durability, and wounds heal more rapidly when inflicted.
