Ryhza was born in Aveon, the legendary city that people knew only in myths and stories. However, he was treated as an outcast since birth because of his amazing abilities. He was even named after an ancient legend, his namesake was a feared warrior of immense power. Ryhza means 'Riser', an infamous role portrayed both in legend and prophecy. He had met Abe (Abyssion) and Ellie (Eleemosynary) as a child, and unwittingly saved them from assassins. They were the main heirs to the two families that rule over the city. The three became instant friends and were almost inseparable. Until one fateful day, some years later, the three come over to his house after a day from play. They find his parents dead, and his younger sister missing, who was also believed to be dead as well. The deed was done by Caius, the city's strongest warrior. Caius attacked Ryhza, who was unable to move from the shock. Abe and Ellie stepped in the way to defend him, but died doing so. Caius retreated after, leaving Ryhza with the corpses of his family, and his two only friends. A renowned hermit sage soon entered, and imparted a cryptic foretelling with Ryhza, hinting only slightly to the grand destiny that awaited him. The sage left, but not without bestowing him with one final gift, the souls of Abe and Ellie encased within his parents' blades. Now armed with the conscious souls of his two beloved friends, Ryhza sets out on a quest for vengeance.
