  1. I have been a regular member of the Electronic Freedom Foundation since XXX, after long being an admirer of your work before that. I recently learned that the EFF will be partnering with Google this year, through the company's "Google Public Policy Fellow" program:

  4. The EFF, more than anyone, knows Google's record: from making armaments (Boston Dynamics, Project Maven) to censorship (Dragonfly) to monopolistic anti-consumer practices in every industry it operates in, to its overall business model of surveillance and advertising.

  6. I have been working with grassroots groups for over a decade, so I know first-had how difficult it can be to gather the financial and other material support necessary to carry out good work — but whatever benefit EFF would be getting from this partnership seems far outweighed by the benefit Google will see in rehabilitating their reputation among people who care about the internet.

  8. Please share any information that you have on how the decision to partner with Google was made. Regardless, unless you tell me that the EFF is already in the process of terminating its participation the Google Public Policy Fellow program, I will be cancelling my EFF membership — and I would be grateful if you could note the reason for this cancellation in your records.
