• Jiu grew up in the most historical town in South Korea so even before he got his powers he was completely in love with history.

• His father died when his ship sank. His father had been in the army. His mother hid the truth from him for years before he discovered the letter from the army in the closet. He was heart broken. He looked up to his father immensely and couldn't believe he was dead. He ran away from home for over 24 hours. They eventually found him curled up with the history textbooks in a closed museum.

• He grew slightly distant from his mother after that. He began to lock himself away in his room to study history. His father had taught him that history was the most important subject because if we didn't learn from our mistakes then the world would repeat itself. He fell in love with the subject just like his father had.

• He never went to university because he did extremely well in history but his other classes he hardly cared about so his GPA was low and no schools would accept him. He didn't take it to heart though, he just took his own time to study all of the history he could, not expecting it to go anywhere.

• Danjong lives in a high end apartment in downtown Seoul. His family was born rich and when they died he inherited the money. At first he didn't know what to do because that money was dwindling fast so he became the curator of some of the local libraries. He sends in money to help renovate and they give him a portion of their income. Danjong is a silent investor. No one has ever actually seen what he looks like because he doesn't want to be raided by paparazzi so he keeps a low profile. His company is managed by his CEO mostly but in the end he makes all of the decisions.

• Gets overly excited about anything and everything. He's kind of like a puppy when it comes to something he's interested in, specifically history. He doesn't stop talking and describing things. His mouth won't stop and completely nerds out.

• Jiu gets extremely mad if people insult history. He is very protective of history and refuses to allow people to deface it.

• He is extremely oblivious to people who like him. He's only ever had one girl confess to him and he was so shocked and scared he ran away. If people outwardly flirt with him then he gets extremely awkward and nervous. He's not so oblivious that he doesn't know when someone likes him if they show it but he gets really uncomfortable because he just doesn't know what to do.

• He's not a quiet guy. He's always voicing his opinion and telling others what he's thinking. He is bright but blunt and sometimes it hurts peoples feelings without meaning to.

• He tries not to cry in front of people because he gets embarrassed. He tries to hold back tears and gets extremely quiet when he's upset. He likes to back up into a corner and hide when he's upset. When Jiu is scared he'll get into battle mode and punch whatever is scaring him or whoever's near him that's why no one likes watching scary movies with him.

• Jiu is the furthest thing from shy but around new people he is a little hesitant. He doesn't like not knowing someone's backstory so he watches people carefully when he firsts meets them to try and figure them out.

• When he's scared he goes into full on fight mode. He punches whatever is scaring him or whoever/whatever is next to him. That's why no one likes sitting next to him during scary movies.

• If you lose his trust, you'll most likely lose it forever.

• He walks with a confident spring in his step and an almost childish gleam to him. Most people underestimate him when they first meet him because of his childish nature but he's actually a badass.

How does your character feel about everything? (His new powers, the crime fighting, etc.):
+ At first he was ecstatic because he would be able to see all of his heroes but after he stepped in the shoes of a Danjong, a child king who was brutally murdered, he makes sure that he studies on where he's going before he goes so he doesn't get traumatized again. That being said, he's not taking the whole crime fighting thing seriously. He's almost like a child in a candy shop than a murder scene and he runs around in different periods of history. He loves going to see his favorite moments in time even if some of the realities scare him.
