All right, the interview will follow a simple format. I'm going to ask a series of questions based on scenarios which an agent may have to face from time to time, followed by more pointed questions about yourself.

I'll send a fax to the HoS along the lines of "A station intelligence from the NSS Aurora has alerted us to...." and ask for clarification of the incident. Am I, as a CCIA, able to view their communications?
I say that I'd make a fax because a station AI should not be making situation reports like that circumventing Command staff, and if they did not input "on behalf of" etc. and it was literally just "help bad stuff going on" than I'd want some clarification.

Alright. Then I would send a clarification request to all of the Command online.
Stating that the ai made a report and that we would like additional clarification about the alleged incident.

Next question, an incident report is filed against a character named George Melons. Not long later, two more incident reports are filed against this character, all filed by different characters, but all from the same ckey. How do you handle the incident reports?

What's the nature of the incidents? Over a period of multiple days? One day? What types of incidents?

Alright.
I would state that this is not very IR-applicable.
The volume of requests, it seems-
is due to a greivance with the actual player themselves and their playstyle.
While there may be some legitimate issue to address within the reports-
The volume of the reports suggests to me that this would better be suited to a player complaint or assistance given by a member of mod/admin staff.
Instead of an in-character incident reporting process.
I would rescind the reports with the above advice.
As well as contact the relevant members of staff.

A close friend of yours files an incident report, and all other agents are already occupied and cannot take it at the moment. You do not have a report assigned to you, how do you handle this [situation]?

I take the report with the knowledge that I am to remain unbiased. I will request that another member of the CCIA team review my work to ensure this. If said friend attempts to speak to me I will refer them to the thread for transparency purposes. A statement of transparency may be needed before I begin work on the process.
Given that we are starting to double-team the reports, I believe that this would be an acceptable response.

I would first check the discord and see if there are any CCIA available or were planning on coming online soon.

These question's aren't really meant to roleplay the scenario out... "I would gather more information" is a valid answer.

Right, well typically the mod interviews and such are conducted in a "what would you do" type scenario where they want detailed specifics for you to test them out.
I would gather more information. If possible, have another CCIA handle it. If not, then I would respond to the fax with realization that I keep things spereated.

Onto the more personal questions, how would you describe your current standing with the Aurora moderation staff?

I would say relatively good. I have gotten some strikes in the past on Discord, mainly in the thunderdome. Since my last strike I have muted and blocked the thunderdome, though.
I did quit moderating abruptly after one of the political arguments with Garn months back.
