  1. [as detailed by Kiri; not my work]
  2.
  3. conceptualizing Sol v Omnicide actual fight in my head
  4. initially Omnicide is just at her throat as Sol realizes that a lot of her spells don't work in frozen time because they have to travel through the air
  5. She starts fighting back primarily with Polaris Knuckle and Primordial Earth
  6. Omnicide begins fighting dirty and aiming for everyone else, so he gets an advantage while she's trying to save them
  7. At one point while he's trying to do something bigger to Lilac in particular she actually gets mad enough that she manages to get in a good hit
  8. ... A hit good enough that it actually hurts her probably more than it hurts him; after assessing it for a moment she realizes she might have just collapsed an atrium of her heart from how hardcore she's pushing it; she's taunted with him saying 'Your mortal body is what holds you back'
  9. She has to crank it up a good 30-40% entirely because she now needs a constant spell dedicated to manually pumping her heartbeat
  10. While she's distracted Omnicide has flown up way into the sky; she catches up with him and he's at this point preparing something huge
  11. He declares this attack to be his true Future Erasure before pointing it forward, but then bringing it down with the intention of simultaneously killing everyone on the battlefield below, the attack being more than powerful enough to even deny frozen time
  12. Panicking, she chases the laser as fast as her body can physicaly go, legitimately taking her body apart a bit via G-force, teleporting to make up some distance
  13. She only just catches it with a massive barrier that's visibly breaking as she holds it to the beam, as Omnicide appears behind her (below her) saying 'Your friends are what leave you vulnerable' while winding up a claw-rake to her spine
  14. To which she responds, 'No, they're what inspire me to be brilliant' as she lets her barrier break above her, teleporting beneath him now and physically forcing him up into his own attack, shielded by his implacable, god-like body which itself splits the beam and keeps everyone else safe
  15. She more or less suplexes what's left of his body (slag, a core and some embers) directly into the ground; at this point he is effectively reduced to the revenant, complete with '... My fury... will ***not*** be contained...'
  16. This leads to a moment where she invokes Polaris Knuckle and matches his punch with her own, their fists colliding faster and faster with impacts that legitimately shatters the earth around them
  17. At this point her entire body is being held together by magic and prayer because yes most bones in her skeleton are fractured or otherwise broken, so she cranks it up further, 870%, 890%, 920%, 940%
  18. At 950% she actually manages to straight up shatter one of his hands up to the elbow with one firm blow, and while he's staggering she amps up her time stop even further to a degree where even he cannot move, setting off every single spell she's ever known at once aimed directly at him in this massive sphere of doom
  19. She disengages time-stop exactly long enough for every single one of these to collide with him and the moment it's over and not a milisecond later she engages it again
  20. Clutches him by the neck once he's still standing and suddenly rockets straight up
  21. He asks 'What are you doing?!' as they hit fucking low orbit to which she tells him, 'Avoiding collateral'
  22. At sufficient distance from his immobile form, she prepares Starlight Violet Nouveau, hitting terminal velocity before they even collide, erupting into this impossibly beautiful burst of amethyst, nebulaeic magic, big enough that it's seriously putting on a show for the aliens
  23. ... Except then the spell keeps going, and he's dragged to the surface through the atmosphere, tracing a thin purple line with their comet-like trail, making up the stem of the flower
  24. And then when they actually hit the surface of the planet, there's another even grander still explosion culminating in one spell so unbelievably massive it's visibly from fucking space
  25. Sol is left there, holding her own body up legitimately by her own desire to not fall that day, collapsed to her hands and knees, feeling her own broken and uneven pulse
  26. And somehow, in spite of all of this, a few moments later, Omnicide begins to reform
  27. Staggering over to her unevenly like the goddamn Terminator, even he at least *felt* that, he's literally just an emerald-stone core and a few undying wisps, not even stopping to taunt her
  28. And Sol thinks back to what he said before, 'Your mortal body is what holds you back'
  29. ... And she thinks to herself.
  30. 'Then I'll fix that problem.'
  31. She engages 1,000%. Just for this fleeting instant. And she has this brilliant moment of enlightenment unlike any other.
  32. Reduced to a formless violet blaze in the vague shape of Solacia with no physicality, she spends just a few seconds effectively looking through the eyes of a primal god, legitimately feeling the magic around her with a new sixth sense above all otehrs
  33. Omnicide goes for a single, wide, damning rake of his claws
  34. And she just reaches in right past him, her hand slips clean through his body, she touches that core with merely the tips of her fingers, and the next instant, it's simply gone; not even ashes remain, Omnicide is undone.
  35. The embers making up his body break against her perfect form and she doesn't so much as flinch.
  36. Her Overloader suddenly has a single chip on its flawless surface.
  37. It extends into a massive crack.
  38. It shatters.
  39. She's returned to her human form.
  40. She drops to her knees, seething for air, refusing to let her consciousness leave her.
  41. Toki wo ugokidasu.
