  1. A Ceasefire with 48 hours notice and a cow NAP attached to it was all that stood between Pulse (11:12) and the two potential war targets Rage of Absalom (6:1) and Sanctuary of Absalom (4:37).
  2. On July 23rd Year 4 Pulse gave Rage their notice and shortly thereafter, on January 11 Year 5, Pulse gave Sanctuary notice also.
  3. According to Flogger, monarch of Pulse, "We had originally planned on just giving notice and fighting Rage, once Pulse received a plunder from a shell kd that has been hitting them all age (and has since moved on to plundering Fratzia), We gave notice to Sanctuary as well. The reason being that I suspected they were using allies to slow us down, so we'd do everything we could to slow them down, so we just wanted Sanctuary to train a little bit, however they never did."
  4.
  5. According to AquaSeaFoam, monarch of Rage and one of the leaders of the Absalom, last age Fratzia (5:31) seemed to clear the way for Pulse to reach #1 networth by keeping Rage and Sanctuary busy, this age it is looks as if it isPulse returning the favor to Fratzia, helping them on their way to their goal.
  6. According to AquaSeaFoam Sanctuary deep in pump mode trying to catch up to Fratzia was the primary target of these actions from Pulse, By serving the notice it would force Sanctuary to stop pursuing Fratzia and prepare for the hostile Pulse instead.

  8. February 23 of YR5 We have canceled our ceasefire with -- Rage of Absalom -- (6:1)!
  9.
  10. .
  11.
  12. Rage who had started to prepared for what Pulse might throw at them had switched builds and was sitting with max guard stations in fortified when the notice expired. On February 23 of Year 5 Pulse broke the Ceasefire and hit Rage one time before day change and two hits after and thereby avoiding unfriendly. Rage retaliated with two hits before day change avoiding the very same.
  13. 6 hours later Rage sent another few hits on Pulse in what Pulse leadership saw as an attempt to encourage Pulse to go after Rage rather than Sanctuary.
  14. "It basically meant Rage had to give us the button to enable sanctuary to pump freely. Rage never did" Flogger said.
  15.
  16. During the hit exchange Pulse were monitoring Sanctuary's networth to see if they did leave pump build or not.
  17.
  18. After the notice expired with Sanctuary, Pulse waved Sanctuary, Rage responded with a wave into Pulse and then Pulse started ops on Rages bank, and a much heavy debate about the earlier mentioned NAP agreement broke out between the three kingdoms.
  19. According to AquaSeaFoam, a CF was made between Pulse and ABS earlier during the age after an earlier hostile between the kingdoms. He says:
  20. "Pulse and us fought earlier in the age, eventually CFed and had an ABS wide deal that included a 'cow NAP' but there was no definition of a cow in that deal. A week before ABS had made a deal with insolence that defined a cow as a province in the top 20 land that explored while in the top 20 land. The cow nap made cows pretty useless in fights between Pulse and ABS, so Flogger decided to go with a tri-cow setup with the intent of picking one as cow (to be useless) and the other two being useful cows."
  21.
  22. According to dorje, leader of Sanctuary, the cow NAP included specific terms for actions against and between cows: "no ops and no hits on the cows, cows can not op/hit out except in very limited circumstances and cannot aid or slay."
  23.
  24. Pulse, noticing that Sanctuarys networth wasn't moving, realized they had not yet converted to war build.
  25. Flogger said: "then we decided the other kd was the much better target cause we were fully pumped and wanted to fight this age."
  26.
  27. After a few hits on Rage around day change Pulse changed strategy and targeted Sanctuary starting on March 14 Year 5 while still being in an active fight with Rage.
  28.
  29. Sanctuary whom according to its leader dorje offered Pulse a new CF if their intentions were to war Rage, noticed that Pulses full attention was now focused on them. While Rage kept hitting Pulse, Pulse kept hits on Sanctuary. As Sanctuary was without Guard Stations Pulse gained more acres then Rage was able to take away from them during the same time, and it was not until April 9 year 5 that Sanctuary went into action by sending a dragon at Pulse.
  30. dorje says: "They hit us for 17k acres and robbed 200M through a violation of 2 cf deals, until that is rectified there will be no point in arguing about whether or not we're double-teaming them (though personally i think we aren't, as sanc has not hit them and has offered a free wave and they hit rage first)"
  31.
  32. According to Flogger, dorje had told him the night before the declaration that Sanctuary was training up a bit and swapping some builds, and based on this Pulse expected them to still keep part of their dice build to try and get #1 networth. Sanctuary's change to complete war build came as a surprise to Pulse and Flogger said: "I know this which is part of why we gave notice, not really expecting to hit Sanctuary since they were so much larger, but to make them swap their builds and interrupt their pump"
  33.
  34. April 9 of YR5 -- Sanctuary of Absalom -- (4:37) has begun a Gold Dragon project against us!
  35.
  36. .
  37.
  38. April 9 of YR5 A Gold Dragon from -- Sanctuary of Absalom -- (4:37) has begun ravaging our lands!
  39.
  40. Hits were exchanged by all three kingdoms until June 1 Year 5 when Sanctuary declared war on Pulse
  41.
  42. June 1 of YR5 -- Sanctuary of Absalom -- (4:37) has declared WAR with our kingdom!
  43.
  44. .
  45.
  46. The declaration was prompted by Sanctuary and served to catch Pulse slightly off-guard with the majority of their armies out as well as outside of "wave formation". This had repercussion all throughout the war making it near impossible for Pulse to remove the fog from Sanctuarys high WPA dwarfs forcing them into longer return times. Sanctuary focused much of their efforts towards Pulses bigger provinces keeping meteor shower on them 24/7 as well as fireballing their peasants to hollow out their militaries. At the same time Pulse had little to no success in trying to return the favor of fireballs on Sanctuaries Cow, leaving its economy unscathed.
  47.
  48. In the end Pulse (11:12) felt that the fog & the higher guard stations efficiency of Sanctuary of Absalom (4:37) dwarfs had taken its toll and chose to withdraw from the war on January 10 of Year 6.
  49.
  50. January 10 of YR6 Unable to achieve victory, our Kingdom has withdrawn from war with -- Sanctuary of Absalom -- (4:37). Our failed war has finally ended!
